Accuracy in Media

As the Daily Caller News Foundation pointed out, a Huffington Post writer was incorrect in asserting a liberal narrative about the EPA’s Clean Water Act (known as WOTUS) rule, which was dismantled by the Trump administration.

The writer claimed, “dismantle [a] rule that protects drinking water for 117 million.”

The Daily Caller News Foundation determined the following:

Verdict: False

The rule in question, known as the Clean Water Rule or the Waters of the United States rule, is not in effect and is therefore not protecting drinking water for anyone.
