Accuracy in Media

The Democratic Party has used focus groups and polling to come up with a new party slogan: “A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future.”

However, when news broke about the slogan, people mocked it for sounding like the pizza chain Papa John’s, whose slogan is “Better Ingredients, Better Pizza, Papa John’s.” But, the likes of CNN, CBS News, ABC News and NBC News websites did not feature an article on it. Also, when you search for it their websites, nothing comes up on the topic.

Still, Newsweek, a liberal magazine, mocked the slogan, while The Daily Beast defended it against the mockery.

What do you think? Does it sound like a Papa John’s slogan?

At least Papa John’s slogan has a chance of being true. With the Democrats you know that all they care about is dividing and ruling while convincing enough low information voters that they care about the silly stuff in their slogan just long enough to get their votes.

No. Sounds like it was written by a committee after a week of intensive consultation (led at a retreat by a high-priced PR firm, with lots of whiteboards), but by the end they were incapable of doing their best work.

Either slogan, particularly the pizza one seems to go hand in glove with Pelosi’s photo!
