Accuracy in Media

Humberto Fontova, a Cuban dissident, dissects recent claims by Democratic congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) on how Cuban health care is very good. Ellison said, “The countries like Cuba or Canada or Russia or a lot of places in this world spend half what we spend per capita and they got better health outcomes than we do.”

Fontova pointed out how Cuban medical statistics are fabricated by the communist regime in Cuba and how Cuban doctors routinely flunk medical exams to practice in the U.S. Why isn’t this getting reported?

Yet, the media largely ignored Ellison’s claims, which points to a bigger problem of liberal bias in not correcting myths put forward by the Left.

The free health care that is given to regular people in Cuba
is on the level of a nurse helping kids at a Boy Scout summer camp. Great for
broken arms and cuts that need stitching. If they get cancer they are given
pain pills and are told it is medication for the cancer. I worked with a Cuban
refugee/escapee that told me this. He had become a medic in the US Army.

These people are either idiots, or liars…most likely both. Of course the commies fake their numbers, to show how great their failing societies are. Only idiots like Michael Moore and Keith Ellison can believe Cuba has a better health care than the US.
