WASHINGTON — In an interview with BET, or Black Entertainment Television, President Barack Obama said American society still has deep roots of racism.

RealClearPolitics reported Obama’s quote along with a video clip of that specific statement, which transcript read as:

“When you’re dealing with something as deeply rooted as racism or bias in any society you’ve got to have vigilance but you have to recognize that it is going to take some time, and you just have to be steady.”

The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize has not improved race relations while in office, Americans say. In a recent poll conducted by Bloomberg, 53% say that it has actually worsened under Obama’s presidency.

Indeed, racism, in-your-face, ever preciously dear to a bigot’s sick heart, and weak mind, has made a whopping “comeback” during the Obama years, even beginning the very night he was elected. And where was the first big outrageous racist act occured in the bluest of blue states, when St. John’s Congregational Church in Springfield, MA, was torched the night defeated Sen. McCain by some white smartasses. Add to that, all the birther nonsense, all the anti-Muslim nonsense etc etc etc.
Coincidences? Only if you have a sick sense of humor.
