<p>Well the writer makes valid points in the first few paragraphs where she points out that little is mentioned about Darfur, Congo and Zimbabwe. But that doesn’t bleach out the reality of Israel’s behavior towards the indigenous people of Israel/Palestine. The major difference is that behavior and US financial and military actions make us the great enabler. Indeed sins of commission rather than ommission. We have all the leverage in the world to not only guarantee Israel’s security but to demand proper actions on its part as well. The constant settlement of and descriminatory behavior toward the lands people taken by force of arms continues to be one long violation of the UN charter to which it is a signatory. I think letting Israel’s leaders whomever they turn out to be that it’s time to stop the descrimination and start acting like a mature state that it should be.
