Accuracy in Media

President-elect Donald Trump took to Twitter on Wednesday for the liberal media’s stream of negative stories labeling his transition to power as being in “disarray:”

Trump received some backing from an unexpected source—David Axelrod, who served as a senior advisor to Barack Obama—who didn’t see anything amiss in the transition process.

Axelrod also tweeted that in 2008 they hadn’t made any major appointments in the first two weeks and no one complained:

The media are doing their level best to derail the Trump administration before it officially gets started. But just like with the presidential campaign, they are underestimating their opponent.

Remember when LBJ signed the Public Broadcasting Corporation (or whatever it was) to assure the public post-Watergate that there would be fair and thorough media coverage henceforth. As Daffy Duck would have said: “Well, that certainly worked out well.” Why are tax payers still funding PBS (Pure Bullshit) anyway? Trump should cut off the funding or, better yet, sign an executive order that negates its organizational charter.

Whoops! LBJ did sign the bill into law in the mid ’60s, but it was before Watergate. It was after Watergate in the mid ’70s that funding increases for more widespread broadcasts were rationalized as necessary to save the Republic.
