Pelosi: ‘Pass the (Health Care) Bill to Find Out What’s In It’

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told an audience yesterday that it was necessary to pass the health care bill to see what was in it away from what she termed the “fog of Washington”.
Does Pelosi actually think that she can convince the public that if they take Washington out of the equation they will like what they see in the health care bill? Where is the transparency in that?
She knows that she really needs to explain what is in the bill but doing so would be its undoing so now she is on a campaign that in essence is a trust me you’ll like it effort at a time Congressional approval ratings are in the tank.
This is either a move born of deperation or delusion or both, but in either case it is bound to fail.
Her behavior, mannerisms and pattern of statements and remarks indicate to me that she truly does belong in a mental institution. Her statements are completely bizarre and consistently nonsensical. It’s utterly astounding to me that she is the Speaker of the House. Of course, it’s equally astounding to me that the President is who he is. This would be great comedy if it weren’t actually happening in real life and in our nation’s leadership. This nightmare better end soon, while we still have a country…if we still do.

A whole new Dept.,,run by SEIU & ACORN,,under a NEW Czar appointed by “The ONE” & not vetted by Congress,,YES,,NO??? Lucky me,she is the last to go to college & maybe we will be paid before BHO

Major, I believe there are no guarantees if someone is not a minority; (I should say a person of color) due to the fact that if you add up all US citizens, whites are already down to 48% overall.
Obama and his Education Czar and the Department of Education wants to do away with SAT tests. Kevin Jennings, the Education Czar has advocated that all minorities will attend Universities regardless of grades or attendance. Naturally the Taxpayers will foot the cost…what else is new!
Since Carter, people living in the larger cities have been moving to the suburbs in droves to get away from crime (to the tune of 88%) of all races who have made enough to move. Since most are white, they have been vilified, criticised, and demonized. So, the question for me is, where are those doing the vilification living? Not in the inner cities…the height of hypocrisy!
Talking about income, Obama’s next thing is to drastically raise who in America is considered ‘poor’, this will encompass people making up to $75,000 per year (although taxes will not be affected) the goal is to make the US’s poor population more in line with countries such as India.
We should give Pelosi a new car, how about a new Toyota, seems the MSM failed to report on the Government Motors recall 1.3 million automobiles due to airbag problems, some would just deploy while driving, others would not deploy at all.
…Just for the record, more closed door ObamaCare Dem meetings today, boy that Transparency thing is just as amazing as Pelosi’s ‘Draining of the Swamp’ on ethics violations.
Only fox reported on Obama’s first cousin’s statement yesterday, Dr. Milton Wolf said, “I am not the first doctor to oppose ObamaCare, but I am the first doctor who is a member of Barack Obama’s own family to oppose ObamaCare”.
Happy to see that AIM deleted that comment, if you received the notification you know what I mean. We cannot achieve our goals with those sort of comments being allowed.
As long as we stay on the high road, the better off we are, leave the gutter language to the Progressives.
On the other hand, Reconciliation was announced this morning, knowing the rule of that procedure, this could get very interesting, hope it will covered on at least C-SPAN live.

everything that happens to “THEM”. All my life I’ve noticed that the ones who scream the loudest at us & blame “US” for all of the problems in the USA,,usually live in neighborhoods that are “Zoned”,in subtle ways,so that the people that the Libs are trying to “Help” can’t even live in Libs ‘hood. Too expensive,,& the Libs blame it on US. Here is the plan, you & I sneak aboard Pelosi’s jet just before takeoff & put “TOYOTA” stickers all over the interior. Wouldn’t you love to see her reaction,,& when she lands ,a Toyota is waiting at the airstrip for her,sans chauffeur, with a note on her dash,stating that the driver,an ACORN member, had to go to a SEIU meeting. By the way, I said Carter, whereas I meant to say Ike…It’s just as the years go by, it gets worse. While in HS, our Social Studies teacher was explaining the values of being civil to others, learning (education), and taking responsibility for our own actions…ect. Then he said something I’ll never forget. If you want to see what I am speaking of, look at who is in our jails and prisons.
Today, a Teacher who said something such as that would be fired and brought up on charges.
I love reading and documentaries on our history, not just the basics, but things which are never taught in schools (the books could not contain everything), but in the early part of the 20th century, what are now called Harlem and other large cities all had rich well respected Blacks. They wore zoot-suits, new cars, men and women dressed to the nines. They even looked down on their own poor. It all came to an abrupt end during the great depression in ‘29.
Those people never blamed the white man for their ills, the climbed out of poverty by becoming entrepreneurs, and education. Then again there were not any Government programs holding them down by throwing money at the problem, they as many immigrants of the time who came here to live the American Dream, decided to teach values and ethics to their children.
Have you ever heard where the phrase “The customer is always right” came from? As far as it can be traced, was a restaurant in 1920’s Savannah, Georgia owned by a Black man, whose cooking was so good, the place was always packed.
FDR was not our first Progressive President, or politician, but he was the first during the great depression, and created the “New Deal” in 1935. One of the programs which came out of the new deal was welfare. FDR did everything he could to stay out of WWII, in fact we would have never gone to war if not for the sneak attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor, then he had no way out. Which left us fighting two wars, the one in Europe with our allies, and the one in the Pacific we fought alone.
He was falsely given credit for both wins, he just happened to have some real Americans as the Generals running and fighting the wars.
Eisenhower attempted to change welfare to help those who were on it to become independent again, but was voted down in the Senate. Gov. George Bush forced State rules on Welfare here in Texas, Gov. Rick Perry initiated Tort Reform here in the State, and stands today. Texas has never had a State Tax, but during Ann Richards (D) terms of Governor here, she tried several times to begin a State Tax and could not get it passed.
I will have to look through my books to find the author and title of the book, everything that is now happening, was predicted almost to a tee, written in 2006/2007 after Dems took over both houses, and what would happen if they had a Social President while in control of each house.

Everyone concentrates on the problems we’re having in this country lately—illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida.
Not me—I concentrate on solutions for the problems—it’s a win-win situation.
* Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
* Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levees.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow..

The real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this—you cannot post ‘Thou Shalt Not Steal’ ‘Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery’ and ‘Thou Shall Not Lie’ in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians … it creates a hostile work environment.

Of course you are right about LBJ, not only did he expand Welfare, but raised the baseline of what was considered poor to $9,000.00, that alone put millions more on the roles. Clinton raised that limit twice, all way up to $26,000 per year income.
Now Obama wants it to raise it to $70,000.00 plus, this would put the U.S.A. on par with India’s poor.
Psalms 109.8 is perfect for the POTUS, in fact one of my favorite books in the Bible. If you know Revelations, I will not mention by name, but could he actually be the ‘other one’?
I have actually read both ObamaCare bills online, but they do not have the supporting documents, therefore making it difficult to go from effected legislation to the Bill(s). However, they do seem to change the Bills more than Liberal changes underwear…hold on that…that would make it longer between changes if that were the case.
Would love to see the letter, too bad I closed my website down, became too much for one person to continue adding/updating content and news stories. I also got tired of banning Libs I.P. addresses so they could no longer log on…not to mention I had to bear all the expense. Have enough to do as it is now.

SSDD…Since they themselves do not know what all is in the Bill, Pelosi comes out with this statement?
I thought I had seem it all, this woman is beyond partisanship, and beyond help. These people will stop at nothing to give the Prez a win, regardless to the cost of the Country or the American People. No one wants it, but that does not matter to her or her party. I believe it to be sad to actually want to put your name on a Bill which will damage the Untied States forever.
