Palin’s PAC Rakes It In

SarahPAC is off to a quick start on the fundraising end.

Sarah Palin’s political action committee raised nearly $733,000 in the first six months of 2009 and has more than $450,000 in cash on hand, according to new filings with the Federal Election Commission.
While Republicans are hopeful that Palin will be a big fundraising
help for them, her political action committee hasn’t exactly been a campaign-finance ATM. Since its formation in late January, it appears to have made just two political contributions — $5,000 to Palin’s 2008 running mate, Sen. John McCain, and $5,000 to Alaska’s Republican senator, Lisa Murkowski.
The majority of the money raised by SarahPAC so far has come in the form of “unitemized contributions,” meaning donations of less than $200 each. PACs are not required to name those small donors in their filings with the FEC. The remaining money came through more than 700 different $200-plus contributions made by donors from all around the United States.
Expect Palin to capitlaize on her popularity and raise substantially more money for her PAC that she can use to help candidates as she stakes out her ground for a presidential run in 2012.

The massive malignancy of the Obama Administration disallows anyone who is capable, wise and posessing leadership ability. Obama, like Clinton will stalk and ruin anyone who can expose his evil goal.
When she resigned, I find her sensibility as a person REAL. She’s a genuine leader.

I am one of those Obama voters in November who have changed my affiliation from D to “independent” just after seeing the 5 months of Obama’s economic disaster.
After Obama, I now fully distrust elite politicians especially those who came from Ivy League.
To Sarah Palin…. I’m sorry for my previous sins against you (i.e., my dirty words against you). You now have one supporter here (actually 4 - including my whole family.)
We will all be a little wiser as time passes these next 3 1/2 years. We must avoid blood running in the streets of America as it did October 1917 in Russia. Millions died trying to avoid a Totalitarian Socialist government. America voted a future of many hells for our children last November.
All people have an intrinsic desire to be free. It takes disaster for it to surface at times.

Personal attacks and insults are against the code of conduct you agreed to for this site. Being a paid member of AIM for 44 years I find it necessary to report you to the Editor and Web Master.
Being a Disabled Vietnam Veteran, your attack on my physical and mental condition is not forgivable and is punishable by law.
I don’t think that Palin is perfect by any means -but she has the better part of 3 years to get studied up and practiced up with the media -and she will then be a formidable foe for Obama or whomever is on the Democratic ticket next time.
She has a great persona and is a genuine person with deeply rooted ideals. America should BE so lucky!

Sarah Palin speaks conservative, a language that most of the GOP blue-bloods and country club types have forgotten as they work so hard to curry favor media liberals.

There are a lot of adjectives that might be rightfully used to describe these comments - and the person who made them - but one thing is certain: they are MOST CERTAINLY NOT the kind of comments that one would expect from “a nice, honorable Christian”.

The fallacy is that any particular politician or “leader” can actually change the system. The technocrats run things—people like Larry Summers and Cass Sunstein. People we do not elect but are appointed “advisers” to the current royal court. People we cannot “un-appoint” or hold accountable for the unintended consequences of their “expert” manipulation of the levers of power.

Palin has a very committed group of followers - but I believe that group is not now, nor is it ever going to be, large enough to ever get her elected to anything ever again.
