Bill is definitely NOT conservative. He is clearly an old-time Democrat. He tries to be fair and balanced, but he is not.
He is afraid of the homosexual crowd (that is more liberal than old-time Democrats) – never see him mention that the practice is deviant behavior and leads all who practice it to shorter – sadder – less healthy lives.
He definitely is for government intervention – and proud of it. He does not base ‘right and wrong’ on an ultimate truth – merely on tradition which is totally weak.
He calls it a culture war – but that is to dodge that there is a battle between good and evil – and good is not tradition, it’s God and evil is not liberalism – it’s whatever is against God and His revealed plan according to the Bible.
Bill doesn’t see this – but it doesn’t mean he is not the best TV news has to offer. That doesn’t mean there isn’t better possible – it’s just that there is not anything any better available now.
But with all his titilation and voyeurism journalism, I have to exit early before most broadcasts are done. He has a dozen reasons he does that stuff – it’s not just a hold-over for him from his initial TV work.
But then, this is just my opinion. I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side – but I could get there pretty quickly I think – and I wouldn’t be on the liberal bad side . . . he has plenty of room on his right.
