Keith Olbermann was an egregiously bad sports announcer (I was so happy to have him make the switch–the news is universal, but there is often no choice when one is watching a sports event). Mr. Olbermann demonstrated a similar lack competence as a newsman, seemingly clueless as to what is expected of a true journalist, in Mr. Olberman’s case specifically the difference between hard news and propanandist drivel. I am of the opinion that the media should ignore Mr. Olbermann, NOT PLAY INTO HIS HANDS WHENEVER HE MAKES THESE OUTRAGEOUS STATEMENTS IN ORDER TO GET HIMSELF INTO THE NEWS. He worked his way up by ‘osculating’ many exposed anuses,,,I worked by the ‘merit’ system. He collects Baseball cards,which are useless tools for learning. I’ve collected hundreds of books of all types & realize how much there is still to learn.He has probably made millions,,wheras I’ve only made thousands. He is heard by millions on TV. I’m heard by only hundreds on the road as a bus operator in NYC traffic. He does NOT have any ‘safe driver’ awards,I have dozens. He probably drives a foreign car,I drive an American truck.He has NEVER ‘served’ in the Military. I have 22 years of Active & Reserves in the Army of the US. He has no medals from our & foreign countries. I have more medals than he has teeth,including the NYS ‘Conspicuous Serice Cross’ for heroism in Vietnam. He is an ‘ivory-tower elitist,,I am just a blue-collar former ‘civil servant’ former Veteran,& a STUPID Conservative, who retired at 51 years old. This year I apply for my Soc.Sec. & it’s my 3rd Pension,,,I guess compared to all of his Cornell buds who have to stay ’til they are older & get 1 pension,,,maybe I’m not so STUPID.
