Obama Unhappy With Left Wing Attacks

President Obama urges left wing groups to stop attacking liberal Democrats.

President Obama, strategizing yesterday with congressional leaders about health-care reform, complained that liberal advocacy groups ought to drop their attacks on Democratic lawmakers and devote their energy to promoting passage of comprehensive legislation.
In a pre-holiday call with half a dozen top House and Senate Democrats, Obama expressed his concern over advertisements and online campaigns targeting moderate Democrats, whom they criticize for not being fully devoted to "true" health-care reform.
"We shouldn't be focusing resources on each other," Obama opined in the call, according to three sources who participated in or listened to the conversation. "We ought to be focused on winning this debate."
Specifically, Obama said he is hoping left-leaning organizations that worked on his behalf in the presidential campaign will now rally support for "advancing legislation" that fulfills his goal of expanding coverage, controlling rising costs and modernizing the health system.
Obama expected nothing but hero worship from both the Democratically controlled congress and the left wing groups that supported him during his campaign. But he has disappointed the left and fellow Democrats by mainitaining some Bush era policies and not going far enough when it comes to climate change, health care etc... At this point it is unlikely that the left will listen to Obama which will only step up their activism in an attempt to force the president to toe the line and show his true colors.

Right on , richie ! It’s time to clean house and to get ALL of the weasels and the scum, and the traitors out of there this next time ! And I still can’t help but wonder ....Where is that REAL birth certificate ?
Barry has just discovered that age old truism. Be careful what you wish for. He did not get a landslide victory and now that all the empty promises are coming home to roost, those empty headed morons who voted for hope and change are going to have to hope they have some change left when he’s done.
ALL U.S. Presidents should insulate themselves from the extremist and fringe ideologues in their respective political parties.
We will be happy to overturn in Nov. 2010 - but now we must fear the same voter fraud that is occurring in Iran and the many so-called “democractic” countries. The democracy is a sham, it is rigged…..I predict we will also all be marching in the streets just like Iran holding signs “where is my vote” ...just like in Cuba, Venezeula, Russian China, Iran, Honduras. BHO just wants centralized gov’t like he’s been taught from a small child. Folks, there is no more true democracy. We have a dictator in office.
If BHO thinks USA is such a horrible place, why doesn’t he leave? Why demoralize a great nation? Why are so many people literally dying to come to the USA? Is he naive enough to think he can please everyone? As the phrase says, “put on your big girl panties and live with it”.
I watched a Youtube video today that made me feel proud of one more representative in Washington, and that was Michelle Bachmann (Rep of Minnesota). She had the courage to stand up and speak out about what is happening to Americans because of our new style of Gangster Govt ! We need more people like her representing us in Washington, as well as having more journalists and reporters who are not afraid to speak up and tell the truth, as she was doing! The video of her speaking out in Washington was called : “We now have a total gangster govt. ” I tried to copy and paste the address here, but had some trouble. And so I am sorry for that, but hope you will be able to find it okay, if you might be interested. I certainly am hoping that this Congresswoman’s voice gets some media attention! And if it doesn’t, I will be sorely disappointed. Afterall, in my opinion , this is the type of voice that the news media should be showing to the citizens of this country, instead of the never ending saga of a famous singer in the entertainment industry !

Obama is a manchurian candidate who hoodwinked the voters, but now has shown his true colors by supporting Chavez and Ahmedinejad over Honduran and Iranian democracy, and pushing socialism in the U.S.A. Impeachment is the only way to stop this attack on our Republic.Overturn the Congress in 2010.
