That is what is wrong with our society. Those who did not care to work and care for their family were jealous of those who worked hard and took care of their families, So they coaxed their government leaders to provide food stamps, free health care like Medicaid, Medicare etc. and now everyone wants a handout including big corporations like most of Obama’s favorites who helped him get in the White house in the first place   Those who are just beginning their journey in life no longer want to work their way from the ground up like successful families have done in their lives.

The cable-TV “newstalk” and “infotainment” channels – and, of course, the right-wing talk radio commentators – prove the point that their audiences of political partisans and polarizers just L-O-V-E conflict and controversy and flock to those media outlets that feed them their most-favored flavor of gruel.

MEDICARE is certainly not free.  The basic monthly premium runs between about $100 and $360 monthly; the commercial Medi-Gap policies can add another $160 to $300+ per month; and the prescription drug plan can add another $30 to $100+ monthly – totaling several hundred dollars monthly – plus significant out-of-pocket deductibles, copays, payment limits, and up to some $5,000 annually in out-of-pocket payments for “donut hole” prescriptions (even with the prescription drug supplemental insurance).  The cost of the commercial elements in the insurance vary widely from state-to-state and from insurance- carrier-to-insurance-carrier.  It would not be uncommon for a fairly HEALTHY senior couple over age 65 to be spending $700-$1,000 monthly for their Medicare coverage (on top of the Medicare deductions from their paychecks prior to retirement) – AND – the prices GO UP EVERY YEAR.

Obama’s out of control spending will wreck any future our kid’s, grandkids. great grandkids etc will have. They will be paying unmerciful taxes long after our leaders who robbed them are dead. Forget about a higher standard of life as there will be a depression like non other in the past. The recession the Democrats said was George W Bushes fault will seem like a Sunday school picnic compared to Obama’s reckless spending and their forth coming depression. Washington leaders will be helpless to do anything more about it as their piggy bank will be empty. What a mess Obama and the Washington crowd will be leaving the next administration to try and fix. And what about the mess Bush 43 and his Washington crowd left?  Remember – the two presidents who contributed the most the the national debt were – Ronald Reagan (who nearly tripled the debt accumulated through Carter) – and Bush 43 who more than doubled the debt accumulated through Clinton.

Reagan and Bush 43 are the presidents who have contributed the greatest amounts to the national debt to date.  Bush 43, himself, added about $6 TRILLION to the tab, not including the costs of ending his Iraq and Afghanistan adventures, providing long-term health care to 30,000+ wounded and injured U.S. military, and funding the G.I. benefits for the military who served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Note also that Reagan initiated a $750 billion “stimulus plan” to combat the Great REcession of 1981 – and the nearly $1 trillion of TARP funds expended to bail-out Wall Street occurred under the Bush 43 administration last September.

At this point in time, you’re over-reacting (Obama has been in office only eight months – and you have no idea what teh future will bring!) and minimizing the impact of Bush 43’s expenditures!  He added an amount to the national debt that is probably greater than the total national debt accumulated under all the previous presidents. combined.
