ABC News' Jake Tapper has noticed an alarming trend by the media to make Barack Obama out to be some kind of Savior.
General election project for Political Punch readers: Let's keep track of how many Holy images of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, make their way into print.
(And bad ones, if any. And of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., let's keep track as well -- photos of him looking heavenly or, conversely, old and feeble.)

UPDATE: To anyone who thinks I am mocking God or religion with this post. I am not. I am mocking the images some in the media are using to portray Sen. Obama. Such as the Reuters photo above. Or this DaVincian New York Magazine image. Or this cover of Rolling Stone. No disrespect towards God or persons of faith intended at all. The jesting is not aimed at religion, God, or Sen. Obama -- but rather those pushing these Holy Images of the Illinois senator who is, after all, but a man.
If he is a Savior what does that make Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father Pfleger? Apostles?

First: Has the tenor, doctrine, and mantra drastically changed since Barry approached them as an “Organizer” over 20 years ago, causing him to join, so much so that he now disagrees with their new stance? There is no new stance!
Wright has been his mentor, teacher, and shepherd these 20 years. Why the split? Is it the new minister? People will leave a church because they do not like the doctrine or style of a new minister. That must be it.
There is also an unanswered and unsolved matter of three (3) congregation members (One, being the choir director) lined up and shot dead, from the back, Chicago Gangland Execution Syle. There were allegations of homo-sexual trysts involving Barry. These murders took place before any of these young men could be questioned when the accusations came out about Barrys’ ‘gay rendezvous’ with another man in Chicago after doing coke and drinking.
The bombshell may involve the murder of Donald Young, a 47-year-old choir master at former Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ—the same congregation that Obama has attended for the past 20 years. Two other young black men that attended the same church, Larry Bland and Nate Spencer, were also murdered execution style with bullets to the backs of their heads, all within 40 days of each other, beginning in November 2007. All three were openly homosexual.
What links this story to Barack Hussein Obama is that, according to an acquaintance of Obama, Larry Sinclair, Obama is a closet bisexual with whom he had sexual and drug-related encounters in November 1999 starting in the back of a limosine.
Further, Sinclair claims that Obama was friendly with at least two of these deceased parishioners, and that choir director Donald had contacted him shortly before being murdered from multiple gunshot wounds on December 23, 2007.

I was able to access YouTube & Source 4 but Source 2 & 3 were not found. So Obama is successful with the media in deluding so many Americans so it will be played out as part of Great Delusion coming upon all world. It is interesting that here in Australia, they are referring to Generations x, y, z. So it may well be Generation Z will be last generation to be born on this earth in this present age. So we are alive to see it all happening, & our children & grandchildren will reap consequences.
The only problem with the article, while it wasn’t said, seems to imply the media is just now doing this.
The media has pushed, protected, and promoted Obama since he made his national debut at the Dem convention.
After his speech, the pundits all anointed him. They all declared him ‘Presidential material’. It as almost verbatim, a little chilling, and very telling.
ladytexan here in Australia Media were very successful in promoting Kevin Rudd to be Prime Minister so ALP was elected as Federal government last year. I have made comments about media in other URL pages, so they will promote Obama. Only exception is WND. So Partial abortion & other methods of killing babies in womb here may become legal in all states, with people in churches having voted ALP.

Very fact that Obama changed his first name from Barry to Barack proclaims him to be Muslim. Obama: Id like higher gas prices, just not so quickly

According to Barack Obama, high gas prices don’t really constitute a problem for Americans. He stated yesterday that the reason for our anger is the rapid increase in prices, not the prices themselves. Obama claimed that Americans would have accepted a gradual adjustment to the current cost. Obama wants higher gas prices? Do the rest of the Democrats feel the same way? It certainly would explain why they continue to block domestic energy production in oil. It would also explain the bloated Lieberman-Warner bill, which would have imposed a heavy regulatory bureaucracy on the energy industry, along with rationing that would have both driven up prices and held down supply.
Mitch McConnell decided to attack this on the floor of the Senate today.
I think we need some clarification from the Democrats on this issue. Barbara Boxer claimed last week that the Democrats wanted to address high gasoline prices. Did they want to make sure they rose even further?

Obama is nothing more than a big tax fiscal liberal, like we already have in office with W Bush who will tow the foreign policy line AIPAC and the banking interests set out for him. There is not a single candidate for real change in the democratic lineup besides Dennis Kucinich and only two on the Republican side, Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter. I may not agree with Kucinich’s idea of change, but he is legitimate in his desire none the less. Obama is not. All of a sudden Obama is an anti war candidate, and to be fair, he did speak out against the war before the Iraq invasion, but then like Hillary he fell in line and gave the Bush administration pretty much carte blanche with regards to the Iraq fiasco. People need to learn to look at politicians records instead of what they say come election time.

As an American I began the daily monitoring and study of Muslims and Islam on 9/11/01. They follow tradition.
But, beautiful America has totally lost her mind and bearing. All of our highly paid ruling politicians are in some sort of strange upside down foggy fantasy land of denial; paid-off, perilous, and punked causing patriot puking.
I am really speaking rather specifically about the foolish actions of a naif… the arrogance of this foolish usurper asshole illegal UnAmerican President to dare to attempt to speak to all Muslims of the world on my behalf as an American makes my blood boil and my teeth grit! I wonder what the close loved ones of the thousands of Americans murdered by Muslims think?
To tell programmed Muslims that they need to “become more democratic” when Islam, since its very inception by Muhammad the Terrible, a pathetic, prophetic dictator, is absolute utter stupidity. Does he think they say; “ATTENTION ALL MUSLIMS! Let’s have a show of hands to vote on whether we should eliminate the following traditional practices from Islam: abrogation, beheading, throat slitting, lying, jihad, fatwa, fitnah, cliterectomies, female head covering and beatings, rape, martyrdom, racism, sodomizing, human mutilation, discrimination, speech silencing, trespassing, and chaos.”
He is not my president, and never will be! We should turn our backs and ignore him because the supreme court, congress, senate, fed elections commission, all law enforcement, and electoral college have, in consort, conveniently looked the other way to what he is doing to us as a people, to whom he is apologizing, where he is going, his illegal law passing, hiding and covering up while calling for ‘transparency and full disclosure’, frugality while he enjoys wasteful indulgence, multiple constitutional violations, and his entire country crushing agenda.
He is a traitor and NO COUNTRY CAN WITHSTAND A TRAITOR AS ITS LEADER AND SURVIVE. NONE!

They are of the worlds oldest criminal enterprise that states “killing is a small matter to us.”
Absolutely the biggest threat on earth would be a completely unified transnational world Muslim force with coordination, brains, money, technology, and ambition to wage continuous jihad untill the last human is dead or paying jizya, (aka a ONE WORLD Islamic Caliphate!)
Fortunately Americans, at least for now, our “elected” (illegally) gangsta ‘leaders’ stupidity is being surpassed only by world Muslim stupidity. Hezbollah against Muslim brothers, PLO against Hamas, Fatah against Hamas, the Sunni against the Shi’a, the Muslim Janjaweed against the Muslim Darfurian civilians, Al-Qaeda against the Muslim Saudis, the Muslim Brotherhood against the ‘Royals’, etc. Remember, also, the vicious and murderous eight year war between Iran and Iraq, constant civil war in Lebanon and Yemen, military coups d’état in at least eight Arab countries, the murders of beloved Muslim leaders by other Muslims like Muhammad Anwar Sadat, Malcolm X became an orthodox Sunni Muslim and was assassinated by members of the Nation of Islam, Iraqi Abdul Majid al-Khoei was shot inside a mosque and then dragged outside and killed with swords and knives by rival Muslims, and on and on. I have always wonder how long they will continue killing each other.
Muslims, do NOT unite! May you continue to kill each other at will and stay away from the U.S.A..
I am willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt that he is the savior. Let’s make him prove it. Let’s nail him to the cross and see if he rises from the dead!

Hazel, this Obama is destroying the country. He is killing the economy. No one with any kind of brain would do any of the things he has done or do anything he is proposing (killing small business) to get the economy going again. We are in the middle of the great depression and Obama is making it worse.
Cap and trade will kill this country and bring us back to the stone age. Remember, it was Obama himself that said “Energy prices will necessarily skyrocket.” Unless you are one of Obama’s Chicago thugs that beat people over the head with a baseball bat if you go against him then we can’t afford it! Government takeover of healthcare? No thanks! When was the last time the government made anything cheaper or better? It hasn’t! Obama will go down as the worst President in the countries history.

You are absolutely right. Soros is right there, at the “left” hand of the “father”. Although I have been unable to pick him out of the crowd, let’s hope there is a Judas among them who will let us know what is in store for us if and when Obama wins and they “change” America.
