Yes, and I will use math to verify this. Barack Obama’s 11 highest winning percentages against Hillary Clinton were ALL from caucus contests. Caucus Contests use 88% less voters to determine the same amounts of delegates as in the states that held primary contests.

Barack Obama won approximately 15 caucus state contests and 16 primaries, yet his top 11 highest winning percentages were ALL from his caucus victories and NONE were from his primaries. The odds of this legitimately happening are well over 10,000 to one.

88% less total voters in the caucus contests make it much easier to manipulate results by having people show up who aren’t even from the district. Even when ID was checked and the people were from the district, it was very easy to have double and triple voted since many times there were no official ballots, just notebook paper to vote on!

Many older people would not travel at night in the winter whereas the younger kids embraced it as a social event. Many caucus contests were held in early February in the great plains states which have very tough winters, once again favoring the youth attending.

Many voters in the caucus contests that would favor Hillary Clinton were simply not available to travel within the very limited time frame and far far distances one would have to travel to vote. There are several examples where Hillary Clinton was leading or at the very least tied with Barack Obama in caucus state contest polling done just prior to the vote, and Barack Obama would still win the Caucus Contests by a 2-1 margin!

As additional proof, Hillary Clinton actually won more delegates than Barack Obama did from all the non caucus contests, also known as primary contests. Even when Florida and Michigan are not counted Hillary Clinton still won more delegates than Barack Obama did in all the primary contests!

Hillary Clinton won more delegates than Barack Obama did when over 30 million people voted (again not even counting Michigan and Florida, states that Hillary Clinton was easily ahead of Barack Obama). Only approximately 1 million people combined voted in all of the caucus contests, and that is where Barack Obama got his delegate margin of victory. Yes, the will of over 30 million democratic voters was overruled by the will of 1 million voters in caucus contests that aren’t required to follow the voting rules that are in place when we vote for a president.

Barack Obama’s entire lead in the 2008 democratic nomination race came from the caucus contests. Barack’s years as “community activist” where he recruited people to register anything that moved came in hand. Billionaire George Soros (who was recently spoofed on Saturday Night live) helped fund Barack in a variety of ways. There was most definitely massive mail in voting that Barack Obama benefited from.

Four states that held both primaries and caucuses each showed Hillary Clinton gaining massively on Barack in the primary vote as compared to the caucus vote. Nebraska, Washington State and Idaho all showed huge shifts towards Hillary Clinton when they held their primary vote after having a caucus vote.

Yes, Barack Obama most probably did cheat, and his handlers absolutely make sure he is never asked any questions about his questionable wins in the caucus contests. What is saddest of all is that Barack Obama and his followers are the worst violators of the concept of “fair reflection”. Robert Wexler of Florida did not even know what Fair Reflection meant during the Florida meeting to determine how to not count their votes.

The article that you linked on the ‘Wither Conservatism’ thread definitely reinforced my determination to vote third-party. Since McCain is part of the ‘Compassionate Conservative’/Neocon element which has hijacked and ruined the once-great GOP, I could never vote for him. He and Bush represent socialism in a different flavor from the Democrats, and is one of the reasons for Bush’s unpopularity and low poll numbers.

ACORN or no ACORN, from the information I’ve seen, the normal average rate of default in all residential mortgages is 2.50% to 2.75% and this default rate has been relatively steady for decades, until now.  Currently, from what I’ve read, the current average default rate for all mortgages taken together (including subprime and alt-A) is approximately 6.00%.

Now, granted, the current rate of default is a little more than double the average historical rate of default and the current increase represents the fact that about 3.25% MORE than usual of residential mortgages are failing.  So, it would seem to me that the current problem is the result of a whole hell of lot more than just residential mortgage defaults. (???)

And, 94% of all residential mortgages are being PAID AS AGREED!  Therefore, blaming the problem on defaulted mortgages seems patently erroneous; blaming it specifically on mortgages provided to minority inner-city people is even more erroneous.

I happen to live in a suburban area outside of a city which has a pretty large core of, shall we say, “urban neighborhoods” where “affordable housing” for the working poor and other minorities is an issue.  HOWEVER, the VAST majority of foreclosures (90% or more) in my county, including the entire neighboring city, are occurring in “suburbia”, primarily in fairly expensive gated golf and similar-type communities where house prices are in the neighborhood of $600,000 and up (to several millions) and in a newer, smaller suburban, (95+%)white, working-class city wherein most workers commute back and forth to the relatively nearby larger central city for their work.  In this latter case, house prices are predominantly in the $275k to $425k range and it’s here where the majority of the county’s foreclosures are concentrated.

So, to me, its just blowing smoke, or maybe it’s naivete, (or maybe ideological partisanship and garden-variety racism) to be blaming Carter, Reagan, Clinton or any other politicians, groups or political parties or movements for causing our current economic problem because all of these have collectively tried to make home mortgage financing available for inner-city and/or minority buyers.

The majority of foreclosures in my area (county) are occurring in the much more expensive suburbs, among white middle-class home buyers and speculators (many, many of whom were working real estate agents using hook-and-crook methods, cooperative (and big-$$$-making) mortgage brokers and alt-A (liar) mortgages to buy residential properties they hoped to quickly flip for big-$$$.  Example:  A local, single, has no family, 63-year-old female real estate agent, who never earned more than $47k (just about the median family income in the U.S.) in any one of her seven years of selling real estate, made the local newspaper when a variety of lenders started foreclosing on the 19 (that’s “n-i-n-e-t-e-e-n”) BRAND NEW single-family homes and condos she had managed to buy “on speculation” and with the hopes of “quick profits”.

As far as mortgage defaults go, the VAST majority are occurring among white, middle-class and upper-middle-class buyers whose greed, combined with the greed of the lenders, realtors and mortgage brokers they used, got the better of a system where the goal of “profitization” had overcome the previously more responsible objectives of prudence, due diligence, proper regulation and a sense of business and personal accountability.

This is a problem of the more-well-to-do white majority, and definitely not a problem of the working-poor minority.

However, I truly believe Obama will not win the election simply because plenty of the white males who normally do vote in presidential elections will simply NEVER vote for a black guy!  (And, I think they’ll be backed up by much of the over-65 set.)

It seems to me that, primarily, women in general (more women than men vote) and a majority of the 25% or so of voters who are college graduates under age 65 (and, of course, the black community) support Obama, but I don’t think that’s enough to counter “Bradley-effected” males and the over-65s who just won’t vote Obama because of race.

According to the latest figures I’ve seen, 26% of the registered electorate is Republican; 36% is Democratic; and the largest segment, 38%, is registered Independent or third party and, as usual, the Independents will determine the winner.  In this election, I think race will definitely be a factor in how the Independents vote – - and I do think the Independents would probably vote for a white female before they would vote for a black male, regardless of party.

The low-income families are the most targeted group during the onset of elections. Candidates thought that these people are easy to convince to vote them by just giving a sort of “charity” . Indeed, it is inherent for us people that we love pork and pork products but not when it means government spending the nation’s cash in earmarks and easy loans that don’t benefit the majority of Americans.  Well, groups like ACORN have been pressuring President Obama for spending on their interests (again, theirs, not the majority of Americans) which would be considered anything but kosher.  Some of these groups pegged to receive funds have had controversial histories and policy interests that aren’t exactly mainstream – or good for a lot of people.  Many are struggling to bring home the bacon that the government is spending.

First, “earmarks”, “pork” or whatever one chooses to call the “locally-purposed” funds requested by Congresspersons (most often, by members of the House of Representatives) are generally monies earmarked for various specific projects or organizations in congressional districts and/or states.  It seems to me that this is part of any congressperson’s basic responsibility, i.e., to get as many of his or her district’s tax dollars as possible back into his or her district in some generally productive manner.

Second, for the most part, the annual total of ALL earmarks (or pork) is generally LESS THAN 2% of the annual U.S. budget.

Third, the annual total of ALL earmarks received is generally pretty evenly split between Republicans and Democrats – often slightly favoring (by only a few points) the congressional party in power.

And, fourth, IF the majority of the earmarks (or pork) actually do benefit those most in need, i.e., “low-income families”, the unemployed, children and the elderly, etc., so much the better!  I would say that represents a ‘GOOD’ use of tax dollars!

In my district, my second-term GOP representative has brought home several millions of dollars earmarked for some pretty good purposes – and the latest one he seems to be working on is a good-sized, major highway reconstruction project that will result in many jobs over 3-4 years and will much more safely connect some 50-100,000 area residents to the Interstate Highway System.

Sure sounds alright to me???
