Obama Campaign Reacts to Palin Speech

The Obama campaign's reaction to Gov. Sarah Palin's speech alst night at the Republican National Convention was predictable.

Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, watched just a "little bit" of the speech last night, his top political strategist David Axelrod told reporters today.
"As she proved last night, she's deft at going on the attack," Axelrod said. "For someone who makes the point that she's not from Washington, she looks very much like she would fit in very well there. When you see how she brings these attacks, it all felt very familiar to Americans; we're used to this kind of thing from Washington."
When asked if it's challenging to respond to attacks from a woman, Axelrod said that they respect her, she's a skilled politician, and they are more than happy to respond to her or anyone.
"Sen. Obama is taking the whole thing in stride," Axelrod said. "To be very honest with you, I don't think he expected gingerly treatment. I think he understands they don't really have a record to run on, and this is what politicians do when they don't have a record to run on."
Someone had to expose Obama for who he really is, since our news media won't.

“They don’t have a record to run on…” ???? It always amazes me how the Obama campaign and all the left lug nuts say “they” don’t have a record, “they” don’t have experience, “they” are shrill, “they” all over the place but where it really belongs.
Obama knows that he is being exposed as a hollow man, one with no experience that he can claim as an asset.
He can’t bring forth all his close friends and mentors to attest to his qualifications, so he can only bray about illusory conditions, such as hope, change, stopping the seas from rising, healing the planet, etc.
I didn’t see Tony Rezko, Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, Bill Ayers, Bernadette Dohrn, al-Mansour, or the other people who pushed the empty suit up to the top of the Democrat Party, standing on the stage at the DNC. I guess we know, though, what kinds of people he would appoint to his Cabinet if he were to win the election.
I did not see Rev Wright, Father Plfeger, Bill Ayers, Bernadett Dohm,al-Mansour or any of the commmie campain funders to speak at his campain. How come..If they are his friends and mentors..they should have been asked, don’t ya think LOL….and what is he getting to use our tax dollars to run with, when he is NOT a American citizen either..that is a fact !! Islam cannot stand women doing anything but hiding their face. so he did not pick Hillary or like the idea that Sarah is real and a woman..and like I have said a hundred times,,does everyone really think ole hillary stepped aside gracefully? hardly ! or maybe just maybe she would rather be in the white house in 2012…but like it is NOT over till it is over.. guess we all should just wait and see !! She is giving him room to expose himself…and if all would look at Biden’s record, every dang thing he said to do failed and he was wrong. makes me wonder why Americans don’t go to the Gov web and see for themselves who voted for what..
As the years have gone by of my adult life, I have seen a lot of changes in our nation. At 61 yrs. young, I can truly say that I have seen a very large amount of American citizens become a bunch of lemmings. They spout the “party” line and all sound the same. They have no new ideas and always seem to follow anyone who will give them something for nothing. Sen. Obama whines whenever someone speaks the truth about him and the fact that he truly does not have enough experience, and calls it attacks and then his people spew lies and innuendos and expect the ‘faithful’ to swallow it. And they do! Does anyone think for themselves anymore? I thank God for Gov. Sarah Palin and for Sen. John McCain. She truly is a breath of fresh air and he is truly an American patriot and hero! And I will be proud to vote for them in November.
Thanks, ya’ll, for the comments following my thoughts on the subject. The Demmies have always been whiners and now is no exception, even more so now. It has gotten extremely nasty..and, as the old saying goes, “you ain’t seen nothin yet!”
LOL. Obama watched “a little bit.” I once had a “little bit” of penicillin and got hives all over.
4 times I was a “little bit” pregnant, now have 11 great grandchildren.
And Clinton? He didn’t inhale. (Not even a “little bit”) Come on.. get real.

I am so happy with and proud of Accuracy in Media. They are on top of it! I’ve referred all of my family and friends to it.
I’m 74. I have TIME to sit and research for hours a day, and pass info along to my address book. Most of them work & don’t have the time.
Most of what I send on to them, is NEWS to them, because the MSM just doesn’t report it.
I expect our forefathers, who wrote the Constitution and gave us a “free press” (never envisioning TV and the internet) would turn over in their graves to see what a “free press” has turned into: blatantly liberal, keeping the viewers DISTRACTED with “drama” of certain crimes
(which I think they learned from the OJ Simpson case; they even had a “drama” melody which you knew meant something newsy about OJ was coming)and then they dont consider as newsworthy such things as the battle in the halls of the House over not being able to get a vote on oil drilling before 5 weeks leave..followed shortly by NO SESSIONS AT ALL DURING OCT, NOV, & DEC. 8 months present (can’t really say 8 months WORK) and get 12 months pay with a platinum parachute
I wish most of the Democrats (except those who voted no vacation until a vote) would take and get out of the way.
Talking of a “little bit:” this pitiful Congress has a 9% overal approval rating: 3-6% in my group of independents. THAT’S THE’LITTLE BIT’ OF CONFIDENCE THE PUBLIC HAS OF THOSE IN OFFICE NOW, and we should weed on the do-nothings come this election.
I sure hope those dyed-in-the-wool Democrats take an HONEST look at this “transparent” government they touted with their last pre-election rhetoric.

their calendar only calls for 8 months being present (still can’t say ‘work’), so what can you expect?
Were the MSM really unbiased, left-leaning liberals that they are, they could have had a field day with Obama…. Man, THAT would have held an audience on the edge of their seats. Sometimes with laughter at his flip-flops and goofs, sometimes with anger, like his taking the American flag off his plane and putting a Big O on it; sometimes with an unsettled mind, considering the budget-breaking S-2433 he sponsored with less than 143 days as first term Senator (that IS a puzzler). It would have it all and could even now be made into a great sit-com or TV series…. never know what’s going to happen next.
Me? I EXPECT CHANGE…. IN THE HOUSE, IN THE
SENATE AND SPECIFICALLY IN THE WHITE HOUSE UNDER MCCAIN AND PALIN. I don’t want this same bunch back in Washington. Looking at their pitiful little approval rating, MOST OF AMERICA DOESN’T WANT THEM BACK IN OFFICE…. SO… VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE, DUH!
