If Obama is elected (God forbid the thought), Mr. Murdoch will become the Gustavo Cisneros of the U.S. Gustavo Cisneros is the Venezuelan media magnate, owner of Venevision among others, who met “secretly” with Hugo Chavez and none other than Jimmy Carter to apparently work out a deal whereby he sold his soul to the devil and changed Venevision’s editorial line and stopped all criticism of and bad news about Chavez. This arrangement was done to avoid the same fate as RCTV which was pulled off the air by Chavez because of their opposition to his government (if we can call it that). Mr. Cisneros showed a total lack of either “cojones” or principles, probably both.
