With the first line of…“With a Democratic Congress and Senate virtually assured John McCain is trying to appeal to voters about the spectre of one-party rule in Washington.”
Exactly…. what happened here in 2007 with Labour winning in all states which put them in power…we had Labour Federal and Labour in all States. They weilded their power and rushed through all the BILLS and changes they could manage until the 2 Independent Senators came to power mid 2008. Now the voters in the majority of Australian States are beginning to see the errors of their way and the folly in voting this pack of leeches into power. There is a growing sense of dis-ease throughout Australia in many areas, in particular -the water situation, the immigration intake with this islamist threat to the world and their ‘touchy-feely winning hearts and minds’ of the muslim population and the economy. – I seriously doubt if these same Labour voters will repeat their mistakes come next federal election. Mr Rudd really showed his true colours after he won power and now he expects us to conform to his version of multi-culturalism instead of migrants to this country at least attempting to fit in. He (Rudd) expects us Aussies to be more like the Indonesians and learn their language, and other such ridiculous things and his love affair with China leaves alot to be desired. He professes to be a Christian, yet we do not hear him trying to ease the plight of Christians over there in China, instead he wants more business to go their way. I am sick of the way things are headed and I for one cannot wait to see the day when we have the Liberal Party back running this country.
