Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) warned FNC's Bill O'Reilly that continued boasting of the cable network's success could lead to renewed calls for the Fairness Doctrine in Congress.

With a very difficult November election ahead of them I doubt that The Democrats in Congress or the White House consider the reimposition of the Fairness Doctrine a top priority not matter how successful Fox News is.

Kucinich is an idiot. He’s a failure just like the left wing media. Diversity of expression, to him, means left wing takes over everything. He’s such a liar.
“We have to see opportunities in our society for diversity of opinion.” Meaning government mandated opinion. Favorable of itself!
You have opportunities - you little commie weasel. NBC/GE, ABC, CBS and PBS. Like their cable affiliates, they suck. They try to perpetrate lies that even us unwashed can see through.
Sounds like an outright threat to me. All O’Reilly did was merely ask him a question grabbed from FACTS and Kucinich acts like a child throwing a temper tantrum. That goes to show everyone that facts don’t mean CRAP to idiots like Kucinich.

In order for the leftists to succeed they must silence dissent. I have no doubt this is frequent topic of discussion in the Washington.
People like Kucinich and Hillary and the rest of her Progressive friends have been trying to get the Fairness Doctrine through for so many years now. They don’t really want diversity, or freedom to report opinions ,or the truth. I believe that they want total power and control ...period. I think they must envy Castro and Chavez, and wish they could do here what those Communist leaders have done inside their countries.
I do not believe in any “Fairness Doctrines” I believe in reporting the truth to We the People, we pay via product advertisements to hear their lies, well many people do…I boycott ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, and argue with CNN.
Chavez shut down the last opposing media yesterday, there were literally thousands in the streets protesting. If not for Fox News, we would already have a State Run Media, complete with lies, deflection, pushing the Progressive Ideals, and continuing to not tell us about the news in Government.
The only truth the Lamestream media have shown, was on Janurary 15, 2009, and not since then was when Obama said; “We are five days away from Fundimentally Changing America”, but no one really heard the statment. I have yet to hear that statement on any News Program with the exception of some Fox News shows, they will not let people forget.
Oh, and did you hear from NBC, that the Earthquake in Haiti was the fault of the United States?
While I am here, I have found two quotes which fit side by side:
Barack Obama: “My friends: We live in the greatest nation in the world. I hope you will join me as we try to change it.”
John Wayne: “Life’s tough, it’s even tougher if you are stupid.”
The left is trying to do this to not just FOX News, but ALL of FOX.
Let us not forget there are people who work for both the state-run media and News Corp. These include Juan Williams, Charles Krauthammer, Mara Liasson, Larry McReynolds, Bernard Goldberg, Kyle Petty, Nina Easton, Adam Alexander, Adam Lashinsky, Dick Stockton, Leigh Gallagher, Pam Oliver, Ralph Sheheen, Joe Buck, and Matt Yocum.
Others who have worked for state-run media but are now working for News Corp only are Glenn Beck, Bill Hemmer, Major Garrett, Great van Sustern, Denise Dillon, Bill Kristol, and Frank Caliendo.
The enemies to News Corp are not at the gate. They are already inside.

I happen to think that Fox Sports really has nothing to do with Fox News Channel (although I am not a fan of Joe Buck or Pam Oliver), as for Juan Williams and Mara Liasson, NPR have asked them repeatedly not to go on Special Report.
Charles Krauthammer writes regular columns for Townhall.com, a highly conservative site, as well as a syndicated columnist for many newspapers which undercuts Obama, his Administration. Bill Chrystal writes for the Weekly Standard now.

Bill O’Reilly was with CBS for years as a reporter, also did the show; A Current Affair. Bernard Goldberg also worked for CBS most of his career, but if you have read his book, “A Slobbering Love Affair…” is how the MSM is all controlling and in collusion with one another against everyone on the Right or Center Right.
Many on Fox were just waiting for a right leaning or at least balanced News Channel to come along. For years Roger Ailes News Director was a Democrat who knew who was in the MSM and wanted out of the Left leaning media, had FNC not come along, people such as Major Garret would have left the media altogether.
Then you have Brit Hume, he also cut his teeth in the Mainstream Media, now a managing director on Fox News.
I happen to enjoy the fact that FNC shows both sides of the news, especially the political side…It would be the Right Wing equivalent of NBC if they were pure Conservative.
Coming this Monday, Megyn Kelly will have her own three our show on Fox, since she took time off to give birth to her child…It will be called “America Live with Megyn Kelly”.
I am even aware that Rupert Muchoch voted for Obama (which he now regrets)...I was one of those who would vote for the best candidate regardless of party, up until LBJ. It is the Progressives I do not have time for, which you can clearly see in Obama, Reid, Pelosi and their ilk, the the other news channels back them to the hilt.
Hannity even has Judith Miller (who has recently moved to Fox) as a political pundit, she is a a Pulitzer Prize winning American journalist, formerly of the New York Times.
Nine years ago, Kieth Olbermann had an hour long Sports show on FNC, but was fired before his contract was up for being too acerbic, I could not stand him then. Now he has ruined the Sunday Night Football pregame show.
There are people in the MSM who do not like what they are “required” to report, but to keep their jobs, they stay on. When Glenn Beck was on HNN (Owned by CNN), his show was right leaning in their attempt to try to be balanced, but the still suppressed much of what he wanted to say.
Beck has done more to bring light to this Administration in a damning manner than anyone I know, I do not always agree with some of the people on the right he does not like, but that is part of who he is…and I agree that there are some old dogs on the Right that need to go…look at what many of the Republicans did what they had control of both Houses, they spent like Democrats. Many of them are now gone, but there are more that need to be voted out and replaced with those who share our values to the hilt. The TEA Party may be the new Republicans, if they support you, you just may get elected.
Look at who Michael Steele put in NY’s 23rd district, Scozzafavva (a Progressive), makes me wonder just who’s side he is on.
For a year of complete control of Both Houses, Democrats having all three branches of Government, they didn’t need Republicans to defeat ObambaCare, there was enough infighting within their own party to stop it, thanks to the conservative Blue Dog Democrats…I was saddened by the fact that they allowed themselves to be bought off, shows lack of character. Then you have the extreme Left who are mainly Socialist/Marxists, who have no business being in office if they refuse to do the peoples work.
What we need is a Constitutional Amendment to stop much of the violations Obama and his crew have, or trying to force on all Americans. Included in the Constitutional Amendment I would have a new vetting process for everyone who runs for office before they have a chance to be elected. We also need to bring back charges of Treason.
Last nights State of the Union was just more lies, just as Obama’s so called Spending Freeze only saves us $250 Billion over 10 years, he can do that now and it allows him to keep the all the money for his programs out of reach, in one year he racked up $3.1 Trillion. He also promised Transparency, where have we heard that one before? In 2008 he promised no more earmarks, yet in one year Obama signed 871 earmarks.
It also bothers me that we appear to have a Muslim friendly Administration, when dealing with terrorists nations, we should be profiling, however, it is still mostly white Americans are the ones being profiled.

income. Did BHO do it to prove he can? Did BHO do it to split the Dist. with hopes of squeezing 2 DEMS. out of 1 Dist. WHY?? WE are not all Repubs.

2). You say the Progressives MUST GO,& I agree,but
correct me if I’m wrong,of the 20 major committees
in the Senate or House(I can’t remember which) aren’t 11 of the Chairs claiming to be Progressives?? If so, what do “We The People” do short of anarchy?
3) I saw O’Reilly’s show when it aired. He does browbeat the left most of the time if he does NOT like the person. I think Dennis K. was warning FOX
that BHO & his Czars would LOVE to shut FOX down.
Not long ago,Newscorp attended a “Transparent” and
televised on C-Span meeting (NOT) at the WH & BHO starting getting nasty & pointing & waving his finger at the Bosses of Newscorp.that they were not in lockstep,(or is it Goosestep) with the MSM.

Let us not forget that Obama is emulating Hugo Chavez of Venezuela. Chavez is using his military to shut down all media outlets in his country.
This is why Obama signed his executive order on January 11th for his Council of Governors that would pretty much federalize the National Guard. It would in turn give Obama his Civiliian National Security Force he campaigned for in the last Presidential election.
Don’t forget that the FCC is now going after local over the air television broadcast, another step that Obama, et. al., is taking away our First Amendment rights, whether it be the “Fairness Doctrine” or “Net Neutrality” (now called “Open Internet”).
We have a dictator on our hand. If you support your local media, the sooner you do it the better because they will be destroyed if the FCC gets it way.
The reason Health Care cannot pass in Congress and in the Senate, is due to the infighting in the Democrat party. It now has three factions:
1. Democrat (Moderates)
2. Socialists
3. Progressives (Marxists)
They even now openly admit to having a Progressive Caucus. Yet with a Super Majority, they still blame the Republicans for the failure to pass ObamaCare and Cap and Tax, what do they expect, Republicans to ignore their constituents for the sake of something Americans do not want…Did they not get the message sent by Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Virgina?
In the State of the Union, Obama stood there in from of the Supreme Court Justices, and slammed them with lie, only to have the Progressives stand and applaud. Although Samuel Alito mouthed the words to himself, “That is not true” is now being castigated by Pelosi and Reid among some in the Media, comparing the silent remark to the “You Lie” comment. Obama has no respect for the Constitution or anyone who disagrees with him.
Let’s say for instance, Obama gets Government Health Care, Cap and Trade, Climate Change, the Unions are already behind him, more bank regulations, continues to disregard the Constitution (which Obama has already said was out of date and should be re-written)...he in essence can become Dictator Pro-tem. Once he achieves all of his goals, and bankrupts the US, we will be forced into a one world currency and a one world government. The U.N. would have the power to appoint Obama to run the US on their terms.
Major, to your points:
1) For over 100 years, NY’s 23rd District was held by Republicans (usually moderates), he does not want any Republicans holding office anywhere in NY. You are correct he wants (in my opinion to split the district, and by appointing McHugh to become Army Secy. was a mystery, until you realize it was a move to show strength, they spent quite a bit of money to defeat someone who has never been heard of, and the audacity of Scozzafava being ousted was actually a Progressive plant as a Republican, once out she immediately joined the Democrat party…a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and Steele fell for it…who is doing the vetting for the GOP?
2)There are Progressive Committee Chairs in both Houses, there are 11 in the Senate, more in Congress.
Ask yourself, how many Progressives are in the Administration, including Czars (who are not supposed to make or enforce laws, yet they do now). All 30 Czars, Cabinet members; Rahm Emanuel, Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, Janet Napolitano, Hilda Solis, Ken Salazar, Nancy-Ann DeParle, Jim Jones (Co-Founder of the Weather Underground), perhaps the most dangerous - Valerie Jarrett (She was Chicago’s Deputy Chief of Staff to Mayor Richard Daley, in 1991 she hired and introduced Michelle Jackson to Obama) now is one of three of Obama’s Chief Advisers…and the list just goes on…
3)O’Reilly does not browbeat most Liberal/Progressives, perhaps with the exception of Barney Frank. He will come down hard on those who refused to answer direct questions when they try to answer with their Talking Points…as with any show, they only have a given amount of time with each guest, since they all have to end properly. Not only do most Progressives want O’Reilly off the air, however the one leading the charge is BHO himself. As for other Dem and liberals, he treats them very fairly, or they would not keep coming back.
The owner of News Corp who owns FNC, Rupert Murdoch actually voted for BHO (now regrets the decision), yet the fact that Murdoch and Roger Ailes will not bow to the President, they want FNC off the air. FNC is the only News Channel who still tells both sides of every story, especially those which will not appear in the MSM.
Major, as usual…you are 100% correct in your assessment, the Fairness Doctrine by the Left would regulate Right leaning Radio stations, and could possibly put restrictions of FNC.
The Republican Version of the Fairness Doctrine, would force the MSM to report both sides of every story, if they ask and get a point of view, they would have to give equal time to the other side.
Much like the old PBS show, “Point, Counterpoint”.

My points 1) That election was RIGGED, & I do not care what anyone says,,it was fixed. The wrench in THEIR works was to run a 3rd man,who almost won
unfortunatly for us up here. But WHY?? We still do not know but will see in the future. We can still vote Owens out.
2) The ONLY guy on TV telling us about the Progressives & THEIR radical agenda,is Glenn Beck.
He informs us almost on a daily basis who they are & how much the want to CHANGE the Constitution
