Kaine Gives Obama Credit for Russian Ceasefire

Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine who is under consideration as a possible running mate for Barack Obama gave the Senator credit for the Russian ceasefire in Georgia.

"The Senator's goal was to be tough and smart," Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine said of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, "and so when the action (in Georgia) happened on Thursday, he immediately called for a ceasefire, condemned the unwarranted use of force by Russia. It was a bad crisis for the world. It required tough words, but also a smart approach to call on the international community to step in -- and I'm very, very happy that the senator's request for a ceasefire has been complied with by President Medvedev.”
Yeah, right.

It’s pure pandering, that’s all. Kaine is hoping to be Obama’s VP candidate. If both of them are this clueless as to foreign affairs, neither of them should be even considered for the White House.
Who’s to say Obama’s foreign friends didn’set up the scenario? Like kill a bird to put a feather in his nest? I notice he didn’t get the blame for the civil unrest in Kenya after his visit there (a month after being elected a Senator) where he criticized THEIR President and stood on a podium with his opponent.

Russia didn’t stop the fighting. They intend to take over Georgia and control the pipeline, which is Western Europe’s main source of oil.
Russia is determined to regain its status as a dominant world power by controlling oil.
Meanwhile, the Democrats in our country are attempting to destroy our economy and power by refusing us access to our own oil. Sick.
With Obamas’ Communist and Muslim background, which, by the way, should have kept him from the senate seat he illegally occupies, why has noone demanded that he be excluded from running for president? I think the law is clear that his background should have done so. His weakness on foreign policy will have Putin praying for his election. All the while laughing to himself because so many Americans are ignorant enough to elect this idiot as president.

If this is an Obama success story I wouldn’t want to see his failures. Not only are al Qaeda, Achmadinajad(sp) and Hamas rooting for Obama in November, by now Putin must be on the Obama bandwagon.
