Rep. Michele Bachmann’s questioning whether or not the N-word was ever used towards Rep. John Lewis (D-GA) a last months Tea Party demonstration in D.C. has House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) in a lather.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) on Tuesday chided Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) for denying that a protester shouted a racial epithet at Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) during last month’s healthcare battle.
Lewis said protesters used the n-word as he walked to the Capitol during the weekend healthcare debate that led to the bill’s final passage. Conservative commentators and Bachmann have questioned whether the racial insults actually took place.
“I think it undermines the credibility of somebody who’s a denier. People denied a lot of things happened, bad things that happened,” Hoyer said Tuesday at a press conference.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that what John Lewis said happened and what others saw and heard happen did, in fact, happen. That’s why I think the credibility of that assertion is questionable.”
Hoyer urged a return to civility following the emotional healthcare debate, and continued to sound warnings about overly heated rhetoric from public officials.
“There are obviously clearly differences of opinion in the country and among members of Congress and the parties, but the debate ought to be civil, it ought to be constructive and ought to be designed to educate the public, not incite the public,” Hoyer said before taking questions at his weekly meeting with reporters.
Hoyer stressed the “need for all public officials, all members of Congress from either party, to try to urge the American people and conduct ourselves in a way that provides an environment for the civility of debate.”
It’s not Bachmann that’s in denial though, it’s Hoyer and his Democrat colleagues who continue to harp on this incident that completely relies on the word of John Lews and where no video or audio evidence has surfaced since it allegedly took place a month ago.
Apparently the lack of hard evidence is perfectly fine with Hoyer as well as the mainstream media which continues to perpetuate the mythical use of the N-word while berating those that claim it never happened.
As for civility maybe Hoyer should start with Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL) who continues to provide regular rants against the conserbvatives, but we all know that will never happen because conservatives are the only ones not being civil in this debate in his eyes.

John Lewis is a good case of Peter and the Wolf. He lies so much and so often and is such an notorious racial rabble-rouser that one can never believe anything he says. As this is common knowledge, any politician who blindly backs him up, as Hoyer does in this case, knowlingly paints himself with the same brush, and should be dismissed accordingly.
It’s hard to have a civil discussion when your being choke by the democrats ramming legislation down your throat! It’s like a woman trying to have a civil conversation while being raped! Despite the poor, poor democrats getting their feelings hurt, it’s time to be uncivil!!
1. Why would any sentient being care about anything someone named Steny says, or even lies convincingly about?
2. A D-Maryland person is certifiably a neo-comm.
3. Does Steny know what “chides” means? No, it’s not fish…
4. Michelle, take this attack as a battle ribbon for your congressional uniform. Apparently disagreeing with the neo-comms is now cause for tut-tutting.
5. Tut-tut, Steny, or whatever your Earthling name is.
And Hoyer was also trumpeting that the Tea Party isn’t playing nice, and forcing Liberals(*) to not seek re-election. Except, of course, Bart Stupak. I believe in that same little diatribe he was urging Liberals who voted for ObamaCare to not hide from that fact, during their campaigns. Yep, do it! For once, tell the truth—but the WHOLE truth. Including that you don’t know what’s actually in the whole 1/2-case of trees cut down monstrousity you signed your name to.
