Barack Obama seemingly couldn’t make up his mind as to whether he did or didn’t favor denouncing Wesley Clark’ s remarks about John McCain.

Per ABC’s Sunlen Miller, Sen. Barack Obama said the following at a press availability in Zanesville, Ohio this afternoon: “I think in at least one publication [it] was reported that my comments yesterday about Senator McCain were in a response to General Clark. I think my staff will confirm that that was in a draft of that speech that I had written two months ago.”
That’s an interesting response — one that might have surprised members of Obama’s own press staff. When reporters (this one included) contacted the Obama campaign Monday morning to ask about his response to Wesley Clark’s comments, they were told to watch the speech.
And the response might have surprised Obama himself — Monday Obama, at least.
This was the question asked Monday by a reporter from ABC’s Kansas City affiliate, KMBC: “Yesterday Wesley Clark, on ‘Face the Nation,’ said because John McCain got shot down that doesn’t make him a leader. That seems to be violating the very rule you talked about today about questioning the military service of anybody.”
Obama’s answer: “Well, which is why I was very clear that General Clark’s remarks don’t reflect my beliefs. I have consistently said that John McCain is a genuine American hero and his service deserves to be honored.”
To recap: Monday Obama was “very clear General Clark’s remarks don’t reflect my beliefs.” Tuesday was cloudier: His comments were not in response to what General Clark said.
Tuesday Obama also said that while Clark’s comments were “inartful,” they were not in the same ballpark as the Swift Boat attacks on Sen. John Kerry.
“I don’t think that General Clark you know had the same intent as the Swift Boat ads that we saw four years ago — I reject that analogy,” Obama said.
This is what Obama actually said, in his speech in Independence, Mo.: “For those like John McCain who have endured physical torment in service to our country — no further proof of such sacrifice is necessary.”
“Let me also add that no one should ever devalue [military] service, especially for the sake of a political campaign, and that goes for supporters on both sides,” Obama continued. “We must always express our profound gratitude for the service of our men and women in uniform. Period — full stop.”
After the speech, campaign spokesman Bill Burton issued this statement: “As he’s said many times before, Senator Obama honors and respects Senator McCain’s service, and of course he rejects yesterday’s statement by General Clark.”
The Clark remarks became big news and a big headache for Obama since Clark was rumored to be a potential vice-presidential candidate. Conservatives were outraged by the remarks and liberals praised Clark which seems to have confused Obama as to which way the wind was blowing and thus his mixed message.

I wonder if Nostradamus foresaw anything of the likes of an Obama and what he represents in his predictions for the Western world. To me, this seems to be one of the most critical moments this country has faced yet. We have the rise of world socialsim and the consolidation and expansion of governments, the secularization of societies coupled with the rise of Muslim extremism, conflict and worldwide immigration/infiltration, the immense and growing economic power of communist China…every aspect of these things being counter to America’s founding principles and values and counter to human freedom itself. It’s as if the sharks are circling around America.
Then, in the midst of this comes Obama…a great deceiver, the most liberal senator, having a large and crazed but frighteningly shallow-thinking and ignorant/apathetic following, having a plethora of dubious and anti-American associations and influences, having toxically anti-capitalist ideals and proposals, all aided, abetted and excused by an insidiously complicit media for either political or profit motives or both. A keen observer can not help but see him as a Trojan horse or a mole…an instrument of the worldwide far-left to accelerate the destruction of America.
Please, America, open your eyes and look through the false hype and nonsense, and see what’s really happening here!
Do pledged Obama delegates have the obligation to switch votes at the convention if they feel that he no longer represents the sentiments of those that elected him?

Since February, Obama has become:
1. Black or white Politician. Black for black people, white for whites. And of course, “OR”, which you don’t belong to any.
2. Yes or No Candidate. You want Yes, he gives you yes. No? then, you get your No. Not sure? You will find he is also in doubt… you get your usual “OR”.
Given all flip flops in all issues, MCCAIN WILL NOT STAND A CHANCE WITH OBAMA. His position has become “ALL OF THE ABOVE”.
This is his attempt to move from “far left” to the “center”. Can we trust his centric position? Definitely NO. He can change his position from “center” to “far left” because he is the real King of Flip Flops.
And that is deception to the highest degree.
I wonder now if those urban legends that Obama is the Devil in disguise have some bearings, given the recent developments. The Devil is portrayed by the Bible as the Serpent who deceived the woman by offering “half-truth” argument twisting the exact words of God. Obama is also using the Scripture…. a politician turned preacher, billifying preachers like Dobson just to get the conservative votes and make himself a “centric” politician.
This has really become a dangerous time for Americans in its 300 years of history.
But there is still hope: WE HAVE OUR SHIELD, THE CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES WRITTEN TO US BY OUR FOREFATHERS… and the words of God himself!
