Clinton “Whipping” Supporters In Line at Convention

In what must be a political convention first the Clinton campaign has formed a "whip team" to make sure her supporters don't create a scene at the Democratic National Convention.

In an unusual move, Hillary Clinton's staff is creating a 40-member "whip team" at the Denver Democratic convention to ensure that her supporters don't engage in embarrassing anti-Obama demonstrations during the floor vote on her nomination, according to people familiar with the planning.
The team, which is being organized by longtime Clinton staffer Craig Smith, is working in conjunction with Obama's floor organizers to help foster the image of a unified front during a roll-call process Clinton herself has described as an emotional "catharsis" for her disappointed supporters.
"If people get down there on the floor and want to start blowing kazoos and making a scene we want to make sure we've got people who stand in front of them with Obama signs," said a person involved in the planning.
Will the "whip team" wear special t-shirts identifying themselves as Clinton enforcers? Or will they look more like Secret Service agents or bouncers at the local bar? It could make for better political theater than the convention itself.

Last time,,,I did not mean to say I did not like Republicicans. tho I don’t anymore. I am a Independant and see the Rep and Dems as one bird
Look for the entertainment value in the Dem convention. It might be better than Saturday Night Live or Jay Leno.

It will be interesting to see just what happens. For this old lady,,she would never and did not step asside gracefully. just gave obama the muslim time to be exposed and use his own mouth to hang himself..As much as I cannot stand republicians…hope it happens. then like she has it set up..and have to admit she can talk a good game..this one will be no exception..as # ONE speaker,making him #2..and then old chippy Bill will be the clincher..what a mess…what a joke and how blind is the American people who have forgooen their G-d…Thank G-d HE IS coming to make a end to all of this..
