Despite the ill feelings between Clinton’s and Obama’s supporters, I think it’s the height of arrogance and chutzpah for politicians to ask voters for donations to help pay off campaign debts, not to mention that of the non-nominee. Talk about politicians treating the voters as subjects! It’s incredible to me. With the high and ever-increasing living expenses that people face these days, it is absurd to expect voters to donate money to help someone like Clinton (who has a vastly larger bank account than probably 95% of her supporters) get out of a debt that isn’t their fault.
This does seem typical of the liberal Democrat mentality, though…trying to get out of a jam on the backs of other people. I suppose if personal and financial responsibility and prudence aren’t planks in the party platform or part of the liberal mentality, then this shouldn’t surprise anyone. Ridiculous!
