CBS executive chairman and CEO Les Moonves is not a big fan of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s politics. But he loves the fact that the network is raking in ad money thanks to Trump and his competitors, according to an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS,” he said of the presidential race to date.

Moonves said the campaign ads are not about the issues, but are more like the debates, and he’s having fun watching the money roll in.

“I’ve never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It’s a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going,” said Moonves.

Trump has been ratings gold for the networks that have carried the GOP debates and his campaign speeches, and now CBS is confirming what had been suspected—that the networks are swimming in ad revenue thanks to his campaign.

With Trump solidly leading the pack, his campaign is poised to make a deep run to the nomination, which will keep Moonves laughing all the way to the bank.
