In this entry, AIM provides another example of unfair writing in the media—- directed as usual, against Democrats. Thank you for making this better known.
This is a weird article by Politico. It purports to report what happened as seen by the Democratic congressman. But I’d bet if you asked the congressman if this is how he saw what happened—- he would deny it.
This is a really sneaky and unethical piece of writing as it seeks to put words in the Democratic congressman’s mouth. It reminds me of true fiction writing such as In Cold Blood, which shouldn’t be confused with accurate reporting.
If anything, I would expect to see this piece on a web site such as mediamatters.org as an example of deceitful writing.
