Actor Rips McCain’s Service Record

No one ever confused Hollywood actors with Rhodes scholars but actor Matthew Modine may have set a new low for understanding of military service.

We ran into actor Matthew Modine (remember "Full Metal Jacket"?!?) at Denver's La Rumba restaurant and, while the Obama supporter had plenty to say about John McCain's policies, he also had plenty of critiques of McCain's military service -- a topic that almost no one dares denounce.
"I mean, he got shot down three times!" said Modine, taking on one of McCain's most lauded personal accomplishments. "That's not success!" While on a bombing mission over North Vietnam, McCain was shot down and held as a prisoner of war. When McCain's father was named commander of U.S. forces in Vietnam, the future Arizona senator was offered an early release, but rejected it because his captors would not also released his fellow American P.O.W.s.
That kind of loyalty has earned McCain endless accolades, but Modine thinks that McCain's rejection of the release offer is yet another example of McCain's shortcomings. "And he wasn't even a good prisoner of war," said Modine. "He should have left as soon as he could. That's what you're supposed to do as a prisoner of war: Leave when you can. It defeats the enemy. It makes them look bad and it weakens them."
Only in Hollywood can someone equate being shot down and later being held as a P.O.W. as a sign of weakness or failure.

What military service did Modine serve in? Where was BHO? As a young man he went for the free education instead of spending time in service to our country. So many young American men go into the military first, then into college. I am sick of the arrogant ass. He spent 143 days in the senate before starting his quest for the White House. Yet his supporters want us to accept him as someone who is ready to lead this country. ROTFL. The only experience he has is being out there complaining. The racist ass.

Matthew Modine served his country by blessing us all with the greatest cinematic epic of all time “Married To The Mob” As a veteran myself, I can tell you, this movie had such a positive impact on my life. It shrinks my 8 year service in the Marines in to something almost insignificant. I’m almost embarrased I couldn’t have contributed more of gift like that of this movie. It was nothing short of historical on a monumental level.
Mcbain isn’t coming clean on all the details of his imprisonment. Why does he fight legislature designed to release evidence and possible POW’s? Why is video evidence from the Forrestal fire still classified for national security? Many believe he “wet started” his A-4 which ignited a missile, that struck his plane, that started the deadly fire. Classic mccain. Then daddy had him immediately helicoptered off the burning ship so the men left on board wouldn’t kick his ass. He’s no war hero. He’s a traitor to the Constitution. Both candidates will undermine the Constitution. Vote 3rd party for spite.

As far as the three collapsing buildings and the far left wackos conspiracy theories, let me first tell you that I am an Engineer that has experience with steel and the heattreating of steel… Steel structural hardness when exposed to temperatures of 600 degrees fareinhet will begin to weaken and will actually bend at around 1200 degrees. The planes that struck the WTC buildings were heading to the west coast,so the fuel tanks were completely FULL.
When the planes crashed into the WTC buildings the fuel exploded and temperatures reached over 2000 degress. The planes as you could plainly see stuck on the top floors.
Yes my friend that will cause a building to collapse.
The combination of the heat from the flames literally melted the steel beams wich gave way causing the building to collapse onto itself..
I am sure that you have seen demolitions of other large buildings where they collapse in the same fashion.

Many of this Hollywood crowd I will admit can act very well, act and that’s all, “ACT”, they get on a talk show and their complete “airheads”.
They can “play” a part as President of the U.S. in a movie, then think they have real experence and know it all.
I enjoy watching movies, but I really think all “real” Americans should break down and boycott all these airheads movies, don’t buy their DVD’s, don’t pay to see them and let their bank accounts start dropping. No matter how great I hear a movie is, if Jane “The Bitch of Hanoi” Fonda, Martin Sheen, Danny Gover, Sean Penn and some others, I flat out will not pay to go see their movies, nor buy the DVD or watch it when it comes out on TV. Americans need to do like our parents, grandparents, etc. and stand up for the U.S. our Founding Fathers created and our ancestors down to us fought for.
Myself and many others are now only flying the Betsy Ross flag and wearing Betsy Ross flag pins, because it represents the U.S. when it was a “Christian”, “English Speaking”, “Family Values” and the “Majority Ruled”, actors and actresses (yes I use the terms actress or actresses, for the females, even though some of them wish they were male, like one talk show hostess, who marriewd her “actresses” girl friend in Calif.
Many of the Hollywood crowd are Communist, but won’t live in a Communist country, isn’t that funny, they’d rather stay in the U.S. with their money and be allowed to down the country and people who keeps them free, real two faced morons!

John McCain left his carrier after the explosions so he “could stay” and continue flying missions over Vietnam, rather than going home with the ship and it’s crew. Also, not long after he became a POW and the Communist found out who he was, they offered to free him and he refused to leave and stayed all those years in poor health and being tortured.
Lets get the facts straight. Ofcourse, if the organization, Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain” is anything like the Vietnam Veterans Against the Vietnam War of the 1960’s-70’s, most of their members were “Want-A-Be” veterans or veterans who never even served a day in Vietnam, but claimed. Including John Kerry’s right hand man, who was the President of the “Vietnam Veterans Against the War”, who claimed to be a former USAF fighter pilot, who held the rank of Captain and had received the Purple heart Medal, did serve in the USAF, but as an enlisted man and he never served in Vietnam, a fake. Ofcourse, the Marxist press and politicans loved his war stories.
I hope the “Vietnam Veterans Against John McCain” show up in my area or forms a group here, we’ve been exposing want-a-be’s in politics, in veterans organizations, etc. And we would love to expose scum claiming to be Vietnam veterans and spreading lies about a man who chose to stay on duty and fly missions over Vietnam and later being a POW for years and choosing to stay a POW rather than leave his fellow POW’s, when he had a chance to go home.
I believe John McCain’s fellow POW’s who suffered with him in the Hanoi Hilton, before some group of scum want-a-be’s and/or veterans who claim to have served in Vietnam. And over politicans who never served a day in the military or a man running for President who in his own book said he’d chose the Muslims over the U.S. if it came right down to it, attended a so called Church for 20 years where the so called Minister, preached hating America, but when he starting running for President he said he really didn’t agree with what his friend preached, if he didn’t agree, why did it take 20 years to figure it out it was a hate Church and not a teaching of Christ Church? Obama’s wife openly said, she always hated America
until now, yes doesn’t hate America anymore now that her husband is running for President. How much of her $500,000+ a year salary did she donate to the poor? Why did it take a mob boss to help the Obama’s buy a home and part of the next door lot?

McCain’s military days and drags an 18 year old girl expecting a baby into their mud throwing campaign when Matthew Modine’s Hollywood gang of fellow actors and actresses sleep around with each other, some being the same sex as them, some have more than one child out of wedlock, are arrested on drug charges, driving drunk, go to Africa and buys children to help their careers, serves time in prison and/or jail, runs to the Betty Ford Center to avoid jail and unlike actors in the past, won’t serve their country, but will run to South America and kisses the feet of a Communist whose threatening to destroy the U.S. or went to Iraq to be human shields for Saddam H., I do disagree the U.S. government because they didn’t let these traitors prove they’d die for Saddam!
If the want-a-be soldiers and the Hollywood actors and actresses hates the U.S. so bad, what’s keeping them from moving to Communist or Muslim countries they love so well? Could it be they’d have to give up their life styles and would be shot for running their mouths against their new country? Yes!! Their basically cowards wanting attention who run off at the mouth but can get away with it here in the U.S. They know their so called friends in Communist and Muslim countries wouldn’t put up with their crap.

That comment by Modine shows his ignorance. McCain was offered release because of who his father was. He refused because he would have had to leave his men and didn’t consider it fair that he would be released because of his father.
By the way Modine, it is not the job to get released. It is to escape. Two very different things.
