Given that some of them were in Atlanta recently, they may be under order to turn against News Corp for the state-run media.

Politco doesn’t even mention world net daily.  I guess since theyre the only media outlet interested in obamas birth certificate they’re considered kooky.  In politicos world fox news is conservative. Thats laughable.  Fox news has most conservative media by the throat.  No criticism of fox news being baught by a saudi prince with terrorist ties, no criticism of fox news having tired hacks on day after day i.e karl rove, newt gingrich, mike huckabee.  Newsbusters has never found any liberal bias in anything fox news has done.  Oh no fox news is great just look at there wonderful hosts, the bozzo neil cavuto, the liberal oreilly, the lawyer van susteran and the worst one of them all the guy who says his talking points non stop sean vannity.  Theyre terrific.  Lets not forget geroldo, shepard smith, obamas butt boy major garret and the guy who cried during a hillary clinton speech karl cameron.  I also won’t fail to mention fox news employees gave more money to obama than mccain. 

My hate of fox news runimply for the fact that they are considered conservative and we shouldn’t complain about liberal bias because we have fox news.  Thats why I’m so furious with that pathetic news organization.  They don’t stand up for us they are main stream media in every sense of the term.

I stopped listening to mark levin because he had a guy call his show and complain about fox news whitewash of mike huckabee regarding the cop killings, which happened ten miles from where I live.  Levin cut off his mic and defended fox news like he always does.  I deleted all fox news outlets like human events and red state from my favorites box.  I come to this site hoping to find another article by cliff kincaid exposing fox news for what it has become.

These days, I do as much as I can by volunteering for the RNC, who have given me mass email lists, of which I can use for every outlet and to organize TEA Parties…The next political party. I do all I can to get the truth out about what is happening, exposing Liberal lies. I have enlisted many Black Republican friends who help get the word out to their community, as well as Hispanic, they are more effective than an old white guy in getting the truth out to everyone possible, especially those who do not have Cable or Satellite or Internet to get Fox News.

We also target what is being taught in Schools, to the parents and the students themselves. I am a members of several organizations; The Wounded Warrior Project, The National Right to Work Organization, Truth in Media, PETA ***(People Eating Tasty Animals)***, NRA, I help Organize drives for Families of Deployed Soldiers (both monetary and gifts), Help with drives to enlist more buglers for troop burials. There is a large separate group who gathers and boxes Items for our deployed troops not only to help brighten their day, but more importantly to let them know that many Americans are still supporting them.  I am spread thin, but have quite a few volunteers who help so much. I am by no means alone in what I am involved in, and almost every State.  Houston is a Sanctuary City, over the years have been in touch with law enforcement who are not allowed to contact ICE, but I will, and have done so often…(I have been Wesley in Dallas so long, I have yet to change my ID). It is unbelievable how many people donate their time and efforts.

The TEA Party movement are where the Independents have gone. It will become the next Conservative Party, that is the way the polls are showing the stats, they (Harris, Rasmussen, and Gallup) have shown who has garnered the most support:

TEA Party: 28%
Conservative: 22%
Republican: 18%

At the very least, Fox News is so much better than anything else on Television or Print news, other than Fox all you have left is the Lame Stream Media.

I have been with AIM since before they allowed posting, I am also a contributing partner with AIM, and that is the ONLY retraction I have ever seen here. Unlike the Liberal/Marxist/State Run Media who does not ever bother telling the truth.

I have contacted the The American Center for Law and Justice, who are the polar opposite of the ALCU, and suggested they go to court to remove the FCC from under the Federal Government, and privatise it, and set new journalistic standards. Of course this would have to go trough the Supreme Court.

They have returned my phone call to let me know that this is possibly that could be done. They are currently researching what they would need to do in order to move forward.

Should it get to court, the standards requested are:

Every Media Outlet controlled by the FCC would have to make some serious changes, such as:

Forced to report all news, whether or not they agree with the topic.

Must tell both sides of every report they make, and do so accurately.

Every televised news would be allowed an Opinion Period, and must give the Opposing Point of View with equal time. The same would be true of all Print Media, and Internet Media (recognized).

Failure to comply would result in a steep fine for both the Station/Newspaper, and the person reporting the stories.

All would be supervised by a Third Party Watchdog Group.

Over the years we (tens of thousands of us) have done boycott after boycott against Newspapers, and News Media succeeded in bringing Tribune Media to it’s knees, especially the NY Times. So, what happens, Obama is giving them Stimulus money, but it will not help their circulation. as for the “Big Three” news, their ratings are now lower than “CNN’s shows combined”, pretty bad.

However, they do constantly cover the new “Axis of Evil”, Obama, Reid, and Pelosi.

Senate Democrats Subvert the Rules of Order…Also not reported in the Lamestream Media…

We can only hope the Senate Republicans learned their lesson today.

As so many of us have tried to tell Mitch McConnell for weeks and weeks and weeks, the Senate GOP must throw everything they can at killing the health care bill. Instead, we have seen the Senate Republicans working collaboratively with the Democrats on a series of messaging amendments that no one has paid attention to.

Finally, Senator Tom Coburn decided to fight. Yesterday, Senator Sanders of Vermont introduced a 700+ page amendment and asked for unanimous consent that the reading of the amendment be dispensed with.

Senator Coburn objected.

The Clerk began to read the amendment.

But then something curious happened — something that violates the sacrosanct nature of the Senate’s rules; rules so inviolable that until yesterday neither Democrat nor Republican ever risks crosses the rules in over 200 years.
In short, the Democrats have now crossed the rubicon.

For over 200 years, the Senate’s rules have ensured orderly and very fair debate. The minority has rights that the majority has never and would never trod upon. One of the chief rules of the Senate is that when one Senator has the floor, no other Senator may act.

Tom Coburn had the floor. He made the clerk read the amendment. Somehow, however, Senator Sanders was able to have his amendment yanks mid-reading.
Under Senate rules, that is flat out impossible.
Riddick’s the guide used by the Senate for instruction on how to apply parliamentary procedure is very clear.

Under Rule XV, paragraph 1, and Senate precedents, an amendment shall be read by the Clerk before it is up for consideration or before the same shall be debated unless a request to waive the reading is granted; in practice that includes an ordinary amendment or an amendment in the nature of a substitute, the reading of which may not be dispensed with except by unanimous consent, and **if the request is denied the amendment must be read and further interruptions are not in order**.

Because the amendment had to “be read,” “further interruptions were not in order.” Despite that very clear language and past precedent, the Senate Democrats chose to recognize Senator Sanders and pull the amendment.

Hopefully the Senate Republicans now realize they are dealing with third world kleptocrats, not American legislators. Mitch McConnell’s “messaging” strategy bought the Democrats time to cut a deal and now the Democrats are willing to throw away over 200 years of Senate tradition and order to confiscate 1/6th of the American economy from the private sector.

Major, as things continue to go downhill for the U.S., the secession movement is gaining momentum.

As I seem to recall, around 2006, the Second Vermont Republic and Vermont Commons’ began a secession movement themselves. Wonder what Leahy thought of that…? I have in-laws who live in Bennington, previously Arlington, VT. There is no doubt it is a beautiful State, but as for secession I have to question as there is relatively no industry, nor do they want any there.

As for Perry, in 2010 Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson is running against Perry for Governor of the State, she obviously is leaving the Senate. I am pulling for Perry; he has been very good for our State. I once like Bailey, but the past few years has been disappointing.

I suppose that if the Texas movement goes to a vote and gets to that 50% + 1, it will become its own Republic again.

Suppose instead of POTUS, it would become POTROT (President of the Republic of Texas) as it was up until December 29, 1845?

As I mentioned before, Texas did have a Constitution based primarily on what the Founding Fathers had for the Union and a Bill of Rights.  What has been discussed is to adopt the original U.S. Constitution before it was amended so many times. There would also be a Supreme Court, but the ALCU would be abolished in Texas…The meaning of Freedom of Religion would be observed as the founders intended.

As before there will also be a Congress and Senate, with one important difference, Lobbyists will be banned. Ethics will be strongly enforced; all parties will have to agree with the rules. The vetting processes will also be stringent and enforced.

What I think would be a good thing is in education; first and foremost, Unions will no longer have the ability to unionize our schools. Freedom of Religion will be sacrosanct as, the majority will rule, non-believes will still be welcome, but the one cannot outweigh the many. Progressives will no longer rule in any capacity, Progressives are the ones who wish to alter the Constitution and the “Second” Bill of Rights, as they are attempting now in the U.S. Government.

I am not sure if I can get permission to post the work being done, one it has yet to be completed, and many things which will not be released unless it looks as though it looks as though this could actually be done. Understandably, there is hesitation to put forth the arguments for secession, until they know they have support. 

There is more I have learned through the movement, but will defer to those in charge of this possibility.

Polly, it is not yet when, but if, the Capital is currently Austin, if we root out the Progressives, it would most likely stay the same.

I am not sure I would be comfortable in any government office; however being part of the new beginning is enticing. I would like to be on the committee offering my thoughts, should I go with this, but if this Tyranny infecting the U.S. and we begin losing our freedoms, unconstitutional government invading our private lives, and unfair intrusion into our liberties, I would be there.

Changing our Government into something we no longer recognize and the mass dislike for our Military continues, along with our representatives continue to ignore those who put them there…”We the People”. I do not want to leave the Country I love, but if this only will serve to get the attention of the Government, and allow the People to rule again, then it would be worth doing.

A good example of what is wrong with the U.S. is the new Military Spending Bill of $687 Million Dollars, more than a third already have pork riders attached to the Bill.
