At Georgetown, the oldest Catholic and Jesuit institution of higher learning in the U.S., the official teachings of the church against homosexuality have been set aside. Wednesday is the occasion for a “Lavender Graduation” event, described as “a special ceremony for LGBTQ and Ally undergraduate and graduate students,” in order to “acknowledge their achievements, contributions, and unique experiences at Georgetown University.”

Before this eyebrow-raising event was set to occur, Georgetown University hosted Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, which is responsible for 40 percent of all reported abortions committed in the United States. The student newspaper reported that Richards spoke “by invitation” from the student-sponsored Lecture Fund, which is funded by the university, and that she spoke about “reproductive justice” and “women’s reproductive rights.”

Meanwhile, messages written in chalk and appearing on campus in support of conservative causes are now being investigated and disciplinary action against those responsible could be taken.

The “Lavender Graduation” event, sponsored by the campus LGBTQ Resource Center, seems to run directly contrary to Catholic and Christian teaching on homosexuality. In the New Testament, St. Paul taught that homosexual acts are degrading and unnatural. The Catholic Catechism declares, “Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’ They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.”

Regarding abortion, the Catholic Catechism declares, “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person—among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”

In regard to the appearance of Planned Parenthood President Richards, a statement of the Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. said in part:

“What we lament and find sadly lacking in this choice by the student group is any reflection of what should be an environment of morality, ethics and human decency that one expects on a campus that asserts its Jesuit and Catholic history and identity.

“The apparent unawareness of those pushing the violence of abortion and the denigration of human dignity that there are other human values and issues being challenged in the world lends credence to the perception of the ‘ivory tower’ life of some on campus. This unfortunately does not speak well for the future. One would hope to see this generation of Georgetown graduates have a far less self-absorbed attitude when facing neighbors and those in need, especially the most vulnerable among us.”

However, there is no indication that Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Archbishop of Washington, D.C., will do anything to strip Georgetown of its Catholic affiliation.

The Cardinal Newman Society, whose mission is to promote and defend faithful Catholic education, declared that Georgetown University officials should “take full responsibility for the scandalous, immoral and anti-Catholic comments” made by Richards in her address. The group said university officials “should make immediate changes to their speaker policy to uphold truth and avoid endangering the souls of their students.”

Patrick J. Reilly, founder and president of the Cardinal Newman Society, said in response to the invitations to Richards and other left-wing “progressives,” that “Besides a clear bias in the choice of speakers, there’s no sense of moral truth, which is the central point of a Catholic university. Either you accept Catholic moral teaching as true or you do not. In the case of Georgetown, they simply do not.”

He added, “In bringing in someone with such a horrendous record of not only advocating ideas that would be contrary to Catholic teaching, but is herself responsible for the deaths of more than two million babies under her watch, Georgetown demonstrates that it does not understand the nature of a Catholic university.”

But problems on campus go far beyond inviting notorious leftists and pro-abortionists.

During a recent official tour of the campus, the tour leader, a Georgetown student, boasted of how the campus had featured speeches by such prominent political figures as Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama. No conservative speakers were mentioned.

Sanders spoke to Georgetown on the subject of “democratic socialism.” The speech was sponsored by the Georgetown Institute of Politics and Public Service, which says it is “dedicated to reconnecting young people with the idea that politics is a noble vehicle for public service.”

The university launched a “Hillary Rodham Clinton Fellowship Program,” and Mrs. Clinton is the Honorary Founding Chair of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security. Georgetown is even giving awards named after the former Secretary of State, designated the “Hillary Rodham Clinton Awards for Advancing Women in Peace and Security.”

Georgetown is also associated with a mystical Jesuit philosopher known as Teilhard de Chardin, who tried to combine the theory of evolution with the Christian faith. Current visitors to the Intercultural Center at Georgetown University find his words prominently featured on a wall: “The Age of Nations is past. The task before us now, if we would not perish, is to build the Earth.”

“It is that spirit that has guided Georgetown,” states Georgetown President John J. DeGioia.

The Teilhard de Chardin quote has been described by advocates of a New Age or post-Christian philosophy as a “global mind shift” away from nation-states to a “global community,” or “global consciousness.” Prospective students are openly told that they will be groomed for success as “global citizens.”

While the emphasis of a Georgetown University education now appears to be global in scope, the institution traces its founding to John Carroll, whose cousin, Charles Carroll, was the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence. John Carroll’s founding of what was then Georgetown College “coincides with the birth of our nation,” the official history says. “In 1789, Carroll secured the deed to 60 acres of land on a hilltop overlooking the village of Georgetown. He was appointed Archbishop of Baltimore in 1808.”

Today, protecting America and its national sovereignty is a thing of the past. Georgetown University this month announced the launch of the “Undocumented Student Resource website,” designed to “provide information and resources for undocumented current and prospective Georgetown students.”

The term “undocumented students” means they are in the U.S. illegally.

Vice President for Student Affairs Todd Olson declared, “As a Catholic and Jesuit institution, we have a unique responsibility to welcome and support all of our students, regardless of immigration status.” The Office of Undergraduate Admissions says, “Immigration status does not have an impact on the admissions process.”

But it appears that some more conservative-oriented students, including those supporting Donald J. Trump, could find themselves in trouble. Campus liberals and “progressives” are reacting with dismay and anger over the reports that graffiti with messages such as “Trump ’16 Build the Wall” were found on campus buildings, including a university townhouse. Another message written in chalk on campus was an expression of support for Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.

The campus police announced an immediate investigation and one student declared, “It’s awful, disgusting, and we already reached out to facilities, etc. to get it removed.”

The student paper reported that the university’s “Speech and Expression Policy” prohibits speech that somehow threatens people or is perceived as “grossly obscene” to members of the Georgetown community.

Indeed, the “Speech and Expression Policy” declares that “expression that is indecent or is grossly obscene or grossly offensive on matters such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or sexual orientation is inappropriate in a university community and the University will act as it deems appropriate to educate students violating this principle.”

It turns out that the Richards appearance and the Lavender Graduation event are only two of the more recent scandals that have occurred at the Catholic institution. A movement was launched in 2015 that objected to the university calling itself Catholic, and asked the Vatican to take action. That now seems unlikely, considering the fact that current Pope Francis is a Jesuit who cited the mystical views of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin in his environmental encyclical “Laudato Si: On Care for our Common Home.”

How is it any of Kincaid’s business how Georgetown manages its own affairs? Who are any of you to tell them…anything?

For 50 years now, the right has been fighting (and losing, badly) a culture war of their own making. Instead of leaving people the hell alone, you folks feel like it’s your duty to judge others and pass laws based on the their behavior. Mind your own damned business for a change. Worry about your own behavior.

Some day, way off in the future, Americans will look back to the late 20th and early 21st centuries and ask, “What the hell was wrong with the right wing back then? Why were they such mean-spirited a**holes?” There won’t be a good answer.

  • Wally Noon

The Catholic hierarchy has lost it’s authority and laity no longer find credibility in their moral pronouncements. This is going to be an ongoing problem. I do not see how priests regain trust. There is no credible pathway for them at this point.

  • leftistfiltharethecanceronsoci

“a minority who does not believe in the values of democracy confronting a majority who has given up on demanding those values.”

  • leftistfiltharethecanceronsoci

Only the stupidest of our leftists are questing the right of others to opine.

  • IronChefSandwiches

There’s opining…and there’s calling for the Catholic Church to kick a University out of the Church. Only the stupidest of right wing nutjobs are doing that.

Just another nail in the coffin of Christianity in America. Barack Obama will forever be known as the Che Guerra of the US Presidents and, I believe he would be proud of that label. We did this to ourselves. We the People allowed the few to bully the many.

Americans sat idly by and let America turn into a Marxist State. We let the Gay Community, a very small fraction of our society to run rough shod over the rest of us. Of course they were funded and helped by the Liberals Marxists, Communists and in some respects, Anarchists who just wanted to destroy everything.

People just got tired of the noise and, they thought by letting it happen, they would spared the noise. In 1973 the Supreme Court recognized Abortion with Roe Vs Wade. I am sure the good Justices at that time figured it would only be during the first term of pregnancy. Now the Left wants abortion rights to be up till delivery.

You shake a bottle of carbonated soda up and then take off the lid, the liquid inside flies out. Well so to does our rights. It is to late to stop the Liberal juggernaut that is destroying our land. I suspect it will take a civil war to get our Nation back.

The Liberals have infiltrated our schools, churches, businesses’, and even the military. You want the Country to go back the way it was well, your going to have to fight for it.

Homosexuality among “Roman Catholic” Priests, may be a problem.
The present Pope brought the “subject” up before the College of Cardinals !
The College’s answer to the Pope was something like, “We elected YOU; we can un-elect YOU!” !
Therefore, a possible solution might be—POLYGRAPH TESTING for all Catholic Priests, and, American Politicians. For starters!

With the exception of Villanova University there are few others that meet the definition of what we once referred to as Catholic Universities.

  • Will Mann

When will Administrators, governors, corporate leadership, and yes the Catholic Church, wake up and start taking strong action to shut down these ultra liberal wackos who would change our society, our former American exceptionalism, and our RIGHTS that used to be a democracy where the majority rule. We now see pure and out thuggery, whether at Georgetown or at any number of Universities where there is no longer any freedom of speech. Isn’t it time to lower the boom and one action that should be taken NOW, is to throw out these wackos from universities? They are not there to get an education where students USED to go to school to learn how to think, not what to think. There are there to push for a minority agenda which will mean the END of America as we knew it.

  • Dr. Robert Schwartz

Tragedy, Georgetown! Let a truly Catholic Jesuit leader speak out!

  • yzwisey

Thank you Georgetown for showing us just how far the Catholic religion has devolved.

  • biilyjoe

The first sign something was terribly wrong there was back in 2009 when they let muslim Christian-hating Obama speak there and then caved in to his demand to cover the Christ reference : “IHS” (which is on every Catholic altar in every Catholic church around the world) before he would speak there.

  • biilyjoe

I’ve seen some of the graduates from Villanova, an Augustinian-founded univ) and I’m not impressed by their Catholicism– it certainly isn’t the Catholicism that existed when I was in Catholic schools in the 1950’s- 1960’s or what I expect of true Catholic Christians in 2016 . I say this as a Roman Catholic who can trace his Catholicism back to Europe at least into the 1600’s if not further back.

Kincaid is a card-carrying, anti-Catholic racist … just like the anti-black, anti-Jewish, anti-Catholic southerners who opposed John Kennedy because of his Catholicism and his presumed subservience to the Pope.

The clown is ALWAYS scrounging around for some excuse to write something negative about ANYthing ‘Catholic’. Anybody who thinks he’s some kind of ‘objective journalist’ is nuts!

  • Ted

    Right on, bro!

Two problems here. 18 to 22 year-olds who know pretty much everything and prog Jesuits.
What I find hilarious is they are afraid of chalk. Sort of like Superman and kryptonite.

  • Dennis Schaaf

Give me a break. Kerry is no more a catholic than I’m Michael Jordan.
What did Kincaid write that was wrong? All he said is Georgetown Is NOT acting like a catholic institution.

  • Dennis Schaaf

You mean you want us to be more like your fascist brethren?

  • IronChefSandwiches

The hell is that even supposed to mean? YOU are the ones trying to dictate the behavior of others. YOU are the fascists. Either you have no self-awareness or you don’t know the definition of words. My guess is it’s both.

  • IronChefSandwiches

Kincaid is whining about Georgetown, calling for them to be excommunicated…and I’M the bully? Grow up.

  • Dennis Schaaf

Oh, if I were only a smart as a prog.

  • IronChefSandwiches

I know, right? Maybe then we could have an intelligent conversation.

  • dbrown8

Correct. Ted is an idiot who repeats the same garbage every time.

  • dbrown8

No Cliff is 100% correct. You are sad.

  • Jim Jordan

Absolutely true. The only way our beloved nation and Republic can possibly survive is to be like Hercules and clean out the stables. If this isn’t 1861 being replayed then we are doomed. Up until recently President Buchanan was considered the worse President in history, the current pretender is now in fact the worse. As long as the current Pope and president Obama is in power we are on a road to perdition and damnation.

  • John Cunningham

It will have to be started from the dark side. Of course which is the Liberal side. The People on the Right are fast anger but hesitant to act. The Left knows this and has been having free reign. The chances of a racial war is possible this Summer. I can’t imagine Obama taking a chance on having a Republican win the White House. I think he will cause something that may very well bleed over.

  • Jim Jordan

I feel it will be worse than race riots, I fear it will be a wag the dog scenario, where a small nuke is detonated in some American city. The pretender will wail and act concerned and then impose martial law, which will precipitate an armed revolution. I recently asked a retired Sgt. Major what he thought about such a scenario and he felt it was entirely possible.
The people who are running this country, both parties have little if any love of this country. They want a One World Government and everything they do is aimed at that. It used to be called Fabian Socialism, just chip away one small increment at a time. destroy the morals, the religion and provided the bread and circuses. Saul Alinsky manifesto at work.

  • Kathleen3

I was referring to what is taught by the professors at Villanova and not how the graduates implement in their lives what was taught.

I agree with you that the Catholicism that existed just a decade or so ago no longer exists and I question why the Church stands by and allows it to vaporize before their very eyes.

  • disqus_smWiOrvPtd

No, Sam Webb former head of CPUSA said a couple of years ago that they were looking at socialism in America by 2024. They have a game plan and everything is moving along according to plan. Sodomite marriage and gender free restrooms are just another piece in the strategy to silence the resisters. They are conditioning people for collectivism and aren’t going to do anything crazy until an “Internet of Things” is in place by the early 2020’s. That’s when they will RFID chip everybody to track them.

  • disqus_smWiOrvPtd

The country is not going back, unless the people will get right with God.

  • Peter

Racists support preservation of the races in their own nations. Anti-racists support obliteration of the races and their nations, through racial intermarriage, for the cause of anti-nation pro-globalism.

Consider me pro race in their nations, and anti-global racist against destruction of the nations and their races and their sovereignty.

    F. Tupper Saussy was right in his book ‘Rulers of Evil’ beginning with the Jesuits and Vatican complicity in American politics from the start of its history as a nation, namely the Boston Tea Party. Separation of Catholic Church and State? Ha Ha! It never has been that way.

The way Americans are headed – into anti-nation, global citizen status, under a Catholic global dictatorship of world peace, because a world ruling dictatorship has no earthly enemy to war against, leaves the only enemy the global subject who will be subjected to mass murder in the tens of millions for any sign of resentment to authority suspected. For the defenceless, disarmed global citizen, world peace will be worse than war, where tyranny can be opposed.

If the choice is ‘living in fear for your life’, for the sake of world peace, then Americans might as well be aborted up to any age.

  • biilyjoe

OK. I suspected you might have been referring to that. That’s good news.
The Church has been under non-stop threat from anti-Catholic forces since the Know-Nothings of the 1840’s/1850’s — non-stop as various other groups (Kennedy almost had to renounce his catholicism to run for president) have continued this right up to 2016— and has grown a hundred times worse beginning in the 1960’s when the liberal press aligned with LBJ’s Democrat Party neutralized Catholic voters and we didn’t fight back by crossing over to Republican Party to defend our voting strength/numbers — while protestant ministers like MLK , jesse jackson, al sharpton have been running the Democrat Party and even running for the Presidency; when Catholics become politically active in our churches/schools , we’re threatened by the anti-Catholic government with violation of separation church/state and loss of tax-exemp status– Catholics are the most divided and powerless group in America and have always been– we have no bloc and zero power. We may be 33% of the population but we don’t have 17% of the power. Vouchers for our schools should have been provided back in the 1960’s– but attacks by public school unions at every level have deprived us of that right. As Schlesinger, the greatest American Historian , has stated; anti-Catholic bigotry was/is (and still is) the biggest bigotry in America.

  • Kathleen3

I’m impressed with your knowledge and can’t help but think how much better served Catholics would be if someone such as you vs Bill Donahue was their spokesperson.

Few question why JFK was shunned by so many due to the remote possibility he would allow the Pope to influence a POTUS. Today, the majority condemns those who hesitate to ever elect a Muslim president.

My confusion over the CC’s failure to advocate for school vouchers has turned into suspicion. There is something very wrong when the CC stays apathetic re school choice and Catholic genocide in other countries yet does not hesitate to express their passion and support for illegal aliens and Muslims.

  • Dawn Street

I am not Catholic and I have no ties to Georgetown University but this makes me feel very sad!!!

  • John Cunningham

I have said the same thing even before the 2012 election. I figured Obama would fear loosing and create an incident the. Turned out, he didn’t need to. Democrats can not let Republicans win in November. All the illegal and evil that happened the last eight years will be revealed. I also strongly agree with discus_smWiOrvPtd. It seems he has his finger on the trigger.

  • John Cunningham

    Excellent and sadly true.

  • John Cunningham

Never before in human History has it been more vital. I believe the fight is lost unless violence happens. I believe strongly that we are in the end times. I just hope I am around to see it.

  • John Cunningham

I used to be Catholic and when I became an adult, I made a personnel decision to seek out a Christian concept where Jesus and the New Testament was the truth and the Light. My Son is now a Pastor and I am worried for him.

Persecution of all Christians is inevitable. Evil has taken hold of the World. Many in the Catholic faith voted for Obama. Also most American Jews did also. How can anyone who believes in God, believe in murdering the unborn?

  • biilyjoe

Thanks. You’re too kind. I contributed for years to The Catholic League– what I could afford. They are overwhelmed (and have been from their inception) by every segment of The Democrat Party alliance—with School Choice/Vouchers– the Public School Teachers’ unions in every state have been, for 50 years, taking 1% of the teachers’ salaries and using it for buying candidates (always Democrats) who make up lies about Catholic Schools and dismiss every notion that Catholic School parents should be allowed access to the public school taxes that they pay. The ACLU/NAACP are all joined up against Catholic schools– and so are every major Jewish organization– always have been (read about it every time the issue comes up)– and this alliance of thieves is unsurmountable with their greed and lies; the public school teachers’ unions, I’ve read, have been paying Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and their “organizations” millions of dollars to oppose vouchers and school choice in urban areas– that’s why only public school “charter schools” ever get funded as phony “alternatives”.
And to make matters worse, now we have a pope who, suspiciously as you said, seems to be entering American and world politics siding with these same enemies including most all of the aforementioned.

  • Steven Barrett

Cliff’s no “racist” and when it comes to the Church, he’s anything but “anti-Catholic” if you read through his writings. What they reflect is a very traditionalist Catholic’s strong difference of opinion on the many liberal changes in the Church during our times. I don’t agree with him on all issues when it comes to the Church, esp. when it comes to economics, social justice, and actions taken by Pope Francis. Sometimes I thought his articles went way out in right field. But in the spirit of Christian charity, you might want to ratchet back some of your comments as well

  • Jim Jordan

years ago I had a friend that I had known since high school that had worked for the CIA, running agents in Cuba. He told me in the 1980’s that Kennedy’s assassination was coup by a lot of highly placed politicians, businessmen and others as Kennedy was standing in their way. I was to say the least quite skeptical at the time. But over time I have come to believe he was on the mark. I honestly believe that all this was planned out back in the 60’s and has continued to this day. If you look at Johnsons reasons for enlarging the Vietnam was, Nixon’s involvement with China and the Lin Pao thing, the pathetic Carter years and Iran, the Bushes and the Iraq War and Clinton selling high speed computers to China. The massacre of the Branch Dividians using the Army (which in itself was a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, that was meant as warning to the average US citizen that you had better fear your government , and every other thing that has happened including 911 and the Saudi’s, all the crap that the current pretender has unleashed on the Republic, The moral crap that the country has to endure from the left, you start to see a real pattern of deceit and lies from almost all the administrations since 1963.
The churches moving to embrace homosexual behavior, and the completely illegal SCOTHUS ruling on gay marriage ( two Supreme Court justices officiating at gay marriages when the case was before the court) and Obama care which is illegal according to the Constitution as all bills that are concerned with taxation have to originate in the house. ALL these things show a pathway that we are on that is leading to the destruction and possible destruction of our freedom, liberty and Republic.

  • Dawn Street

I am concerned for all our children and grandchildren. I have been a Christian since I was 7 years old (over 60 years ago) and I honestly did not think I would ever see this happening. This is not the nation or the world I grew up in. Persecution of Christians is rampant. It is really bad in many countries and that evil has already seeded itself and put down roots here. Right now we are seeing the beginning of the end. Christian businesses are under attack, our values are being lambasted and our rights as free people denied. The Bible is being rewritten to reflect the slant of the LGBT group or the feminists or the abortionist or the atheist. Things are being twisted and turned upside down. And we weep and we pray. We need to confess the sins of our nation and repent individually and as a nation. I don’t see any of our leadership calling the people to pray. Franklin Graham is a lone voice in the chaos.

  • John Cunningham

Very good analyses. I know John F Kennedy was going to pull the Troops out of Vietnam after he won the 1964 election. He knew it would be an unpopular thing to do and he would be in his lame duck presidency.

I could see either Johnson or Nixon being involved with Kennedy’s death. I was told that it would be after all who was alive when he was shot were all gone before the truth would come out. If true, then it was a high conspiracy.

I have come to believe that both Political Parties are corrupt. It’s like a Old Boy’s Club that they finally let Women in on. Once inside they are seduced by all that the job en tales. It is not all the Politicians fault.

The People have went to vote or not and, let the Politicians do what ever they want. At election time, the Politicians are at there best promising and then of course, not delivering.

I am not sure about Trump but, I am about the Politicians in this Country. Maybe Trump will be the one who cleans up the mess or, already in on the scam.

  • Jim Jordan

I believe that Johnson was up to his hairline on the Kennedy assassination, Nixon may have also been. When I look at the planned Mao assassination by Lin Pao and the United States involvement with notifying Chou en Lai about it and the almost immediate explosion of the plane carrying Lin Pao, I really wonder. I agree with you about the politicians to a point, I have met and known a few US Senators and only two both from Wyoming really struck me as decent, God fearing men. The late Malcolm Wallop and Allan Simpson. The other senators from the states of Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wisconsin were rino’s or deeply entrenched establishment.
Trump I believe is a spoiler and has always been since his campaign there to insure that Clinton gets in. He has said something’s I totally agree with but if you listen to what he says , no one that really wants to be the POTUS would make such outlandish statements to offend everyone and anyone. Maybe once you are in office but not on the campaign trail. There is not one candidate who should be President of the US, we need a lever that says none of the above!
I wish Trump wasn’t such a divisive person and you really knew what he truly believes in. Clinton is the worst possible candidate that has ever attempted to be President, she indirectly murdered the men in Benghazi, probably had Vince Foster killed, the fact she wants to ignore the email that did have top secret information which if it was either you or I would see us in prison for a long time.
The fact she supports abortion right up to birth, would disarm this country when we are threatened with IsIs within, takes huge fees/donations from the banks and brokers.
We are sir either in the toilet or heading there at an alarming pace. May God help us as we are running out of time.

  • Kathleen3

Government money distributed in return for implementing Common Core proved to me the Catholic schools are no different than the bought and paid for public schools.

I was pleasantly surprised when I watched a priest being interviewed re Common Core. He stated he was against it, citing “If we implement the same as every school in this country, what makes us different? Why would parents pay thousands of dollars for our students to learn the exact same thing as those in a public schools?

He ended the interview by citing the fact Catholic school students tested were consistently superior to those in public school. He asked, “If the government knows this why did they not duplicate our curriculum/techniques instead of forcing us to lower our standards to meet theirs?” I do not remember the priest’s name/affiliation. I shall always remember him as one of the very , very few walking this earth who responds logically vs emotionally.

  • John Cunningham

I see no scenario for this coming election that will work. America has to be in the throws of another Civil War. We owe this all to Barack Obama and his henchmen, Valarie Jarrett, and Obama’s Wife. As Lincoln said the Nation Can Not Stand half normal and the other half bizzaro World.

  • Jim Jordan

Sadly I agree with you. As I said in one of my messages to you this is 1861, and what is coming really horrifies me as nothing else has in my life. It is a lot of different individuals fault: Obama, Reid, Soros, the entire Republican leadership in particular the RINO from Ohio, John Boehner, plus a complicit media.
If they, the left thinks for a minute that there won’t be a fight they had better think again. As exemplified by Connecticut when they enacted a firearm registration scheme, few registered their firearms. I do not believe that the average American will willingly give up their firearms. I further doubt that the armed forces of the United States will accept any orders to shoot on our citizens willingly. I think that if it comes to a Civil War the left will have to resort to using foreign (read UN)troops.
I am not one who likes conspiracy theories but as history has shown conspiracies do exist, has existed and will exist. Julius Caesar was murdered by a conspiracy, the Boston Tea Party was a conspiracy, Lincolns assassination was a conspiracy. So the predicament we find ourselves in today is the result of a large conspiracy by those that want the United States to disappear, as we know and love it. I read something the other evening about the Jews going to their deaths and trusting their rabbis that nothing would happen. The SS death squads encouraged this behavior, as the media will do the same here.
We are marching to our doom and listening to the political pundits, the media and the members of both the parties speaking words to sooth the masses as we as a country slip into history.

  • biilyjoe

This diabolical obamaphyllic DOE knows that the Catholic Schools are fighting for their lives as tuitions skyrocket and taxes paid to public schools constantly increase with liberal left demands; the leaders of the Archdiocesan Schools also know this.

  • biilyjoe

You should bring back that devil icon you had for yourself. It better indicates what a Taqiyyah/alinsky/blackLIES LIAR and demon you are.

  • John Cunningham

I never had a gun until 2008. You can form your own ideas as to why but, I just didn’t feel safe anymore and had to defend my family. We are definitely back to 1861 and if Hillary Clinton wins in November, she will be our Abraham Lincoln only in the fact a civil war should ensue.
Hillary will be the last nail in America’s coffin. At least as the proud Country it once was. She will cover up all the scandals of Obama especially her own in Benghazi. She will not get our guns because of Congress but that doesn’t mean she won’t try.
The main thing that will happen is that illegal aliens will get pardoned and the vote. Democrats will then have a vast majority in elections and the Conservative movement will turn to secret meetings in Peoples homes.
In twenty years or so, Hispanics will have the majority in voting and will vote in Hispanics. Then we as a Country will cease to exist because we will have no borders and will just be a vast space where People cross. I doubt seriously the World will still exist at that time or at least be very different.

The apathy on the part of the Catholic Church long ago convinced me it is complicit in the demise of Catholic school.

I could not agree with you more. However, our country has always been a pendulum between the liberal and conservative factions. I feel we are starting to swing right again, especially after the pretender in chief we have had for the last 8 years. Hillary isn’t in the oval office yet, and I am talking to Democrats that are as disgusted with her as the vast majority of Republicans are at the party, right now. I maintain and have maintain that this coming election will be won or lost by the independents.
A possible scenario would be Trump looses at the convention, runs as a 3rd party candidate taking a lot of republican votes, Clinton is the nominee at their convention and Sanders runs as a 3rd party candidate, taking the youth vote from the Democrats, as the youth can’t stand Hillary. Then it would really be a wild election year, the winner would be elected by the independents who dislike both parties. So it should be an interesting summer to say the least.
After the election it could either be the beginning of a golden age for the US, or a totally devastating civil war. I feel we can only pray that somehow, someway God will intervene and put our beloved country on the path to sanity and morality before it is to late.

  • John Cunningham

I was watching the news yesterday and the talk of a third party candidate came up. They said it couldn’t be done now because they have to register in each state and, it is to late to get all the States. If Donald Trump becomes the next president don’t count on him to run for a second term. He will be bored to death during the first term and wanting something more exciting for him. Plus his age will play a factor. 2020 looms very large in the battle between the light and the darkness. It is going to be very interesting in the next five years.

I believe we should become a monarchy , and every year, if the “King or Queen” have done what is right for the populace they are greatly rewarded, if they haven’t it can be the French Revolution all over again. We can set a place in Washington and called “The Place of the Revolution”, set up a guillotine, hire little old ladies to come and knit or crochet (cackling) all the while and televise it. As they say history repeats itself! Of course it won’t happen but just think if it could, you wouldn’t need a congress who never does anything. You would save money without Congress. The Monarchs would have to behave and be good and decent people, or learn what Robespierre, Danton and a lot of others learned in 1789 and on. Well we can dream.

  • JETJACKEL

Federal funding of the universities covers any agenda and the schools comply due to the Fed $$$. Even the Catholics apparently.

  • John Cunningham

We just had eight years of a King and that sucked. It would have been alright if Off With His Head was accomplished but it wasn’t. Treat them like a Sports Figure make them earn incentives. If the Country has a good year so to will the President.

  • Jim Jordan

John, they are for the most part being treated as “Rock Stars” (at least Clinton and Obama ) have been. Outside of being the most contemptible Presidents in history and lacking any sort of sophistication and morality, they encourage the image of being “hip”. They both are and have been pathetic during their terms in office.
I of course was joking about the idea of a monarchy and an “off with their heads” approach to a bad reign. I wish we had set our government up during the late 1700’s as a parliamentary system, with a prime minister and a president. It would make it so much easier to get rid of a bad government, or retain a good one.
In any event we are at a cross road and the path we will take could decide if ” we can keep our country” as Franklin wrote. If we loose the Republic we can and should blame it on our own and our parents own stupidity or at the least not paying attention.
I have enjoyed your comments this past week, you are thoughtful and I believe “spot on ” as our British cousins used to say.

Lots of people talking about civil war, especially if Hillary wins which looks like she will. But perhaps the better way to go is secession. There would be less bloodshed and both sides win. The right can have a conservative christian theocracy and the left can carry on with their progressive agenda. It is do-able.

No more likely Trump, angered by the attempt by the GOP brass to deny him the nomination, will walk out of the convention taking his supporters with him. Yes there will probably be violence in Cleveland but it will be outside the convention between pro and anti Trump protesters. The Trump people are asking their demonstrators to come to the convention armed.

Liberals have become the rock stars by far in the last 50 years or so. Even Ted Kennedy the slug was royalty. The reason I guess is they they think the masses can’t think for themselves and need instruction. So Liberals want a strong central government to control the People.

That is where “STUPID” comes in. Elitists, Scholars and Entertainers, don’t think that applies to them and they will be part of the ruling class. Once a Central Government is totally in control, all will be stripped of there money and influence and Communism begins and “STUPID,” becomes the norm.

Being “Stupid,” the masses doesn’t realize or even know about the 100’s of million of people who died last Century as a direct result of Communism. It happens in South America and Revolutions are the rules rather than the acceptation.

Europe plays with Socialism and gets away with it because they are backed and protected by the USA. It must be nice to feel safe to have Big Brother keeping things inline. They are “STUPID” but, protected. Not anymore.

The US will be lucky to protect themselves and Europe is ready to be over run with Islam.
Not much to look forward to for the foreseeable future. That is all due to Liberalism, nothing less and nothing more.

  • John Cunningham

People on the Right, do all there B word from the comfort of there electronics communication devises. We sound really threatening on paper but, that is where it ends. Liberals are energetic and motivated. Yes most are to stupid to know why they are involved but, they blindly go through the motions and are clueless of the reason.

  • Jim Jordan

Quite possibly you are right. It will happen here if it happens in Europe. When the Director of the CIA is a Moslem, which he has been for about 5 years, then we are in deep water and sinking fast. If we do become Islamic then the leftist will go the way of the dodo bird and I for one will rejoice. Of course I will be one of those killed for my religious beliefs, but I pray that before I pass on I see the end of the uberliberals. As the jihadists toss gays from buildings, behead them, crucify them and stone them to death; I wonder if they will still hate the Christians who for the most part ignored them. Ah the thought of Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Feinstein and Clinton in Burkas make my leg tingle a la Chris, the fool, Mathews .

  • John Cunningham

The biggest thing America has to fear for ever, is Liberalism. The rest can wait. Liberalism is responsible for more deaths than heart disease and twice as deadly.

The entire American public will do just what the have done since before WW I, that is wait until the last minute to do something, except this time the problem will be right here in their own front yard and too late to do anything about it.
Our passivism is legendary and no joke. The preppers are right.

  • John Cunningham

Americans have no stomach for war. I am not sure I blame them on that. I am a older version of myself and would love to defend my Country from Islamic invaders, Russians, Chinese, and Liberals.

We can be super proud of our young men and women who enlisted soon after 9/11. I am sure, if confronted by a devastating attack on our shores, America will be up for the challenge.

I just hope the rules of engagement are torn up and thrown away. Of course Barack Obama gone and forgotten if that is at all possible.

  • disqus_smWiOrvPtd

It will never happen. The New World Order is no man, woman or child left behind from a collectivist world.
