Accuracy in Media

In his 1995 book, Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama never discussed the identity of the mysterious “Frank” who had given him important advice on growing up black in what was described as a white racist world. We learned in 2008 that “Frank” was Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party who was the subject of a 600-page FBI file. Still, the major media never asked Obama about this important relationship during his growing up years in Hawaii.

Now, in an extraordinary development, video of Obama explicitly and openly identifying “Frank” as Frank Marshall Davis has suddenly surfaced on the Internet. The footage is said to have been recorded on September 20, 1995, with the program originally airing on Channel 37 Cambridge Municipal Television as an episode of the show, “The Author Series.”

It’s not clear how many saw this program when it aired. For some reason, this “From the Vault” Barack Obama presentation was just recently posted on YouTube. In the video, Obama is introduced as a Harvard Law School student and President of the Harvard Law Review. He discusses “Frank” as Frank Marshall Davis at about 8:37 in the video.

In his remarks, Obama never identifies Davis as a communist or even a leftist. But the remarks do reflect the significant influence that Davis had over his young life as he was growing up in Hawaii. Obama talks about how Davis “schools” him on the subject of race relations. The term implies a teacher-student relationship the two of them had, confirming what we had reported back in 2008, that Davis had functioned as Obama’s “mentor.”

It’s important to understand what Obama is saying here. Getting ready to read directly from his book, Dreams from My Father, Obama talks about the passages ending with “me having a conversation with a close friend of my maternal grandfather, a close friend of gramps, a black man from Kansas, named Frank, actually at the time a fairly well-known poet named Frank Marshall Davis, who had moved to Hawaii and lived there, and so I have a discussion with him about the kinds of frustrations I’m  having, and he sorts of schools me that I should get used to these frustrations…”

Davis was indeed a black poet. His works included attacks on Christianity. One Davis poem referred to Christ irreverently as a “nigger.” Davis was himself an atheist.

However, Davis was better known as a communist propagandist whose work for the Communist Party in Hawaii earned him surveillance by the FBI and placement on its “security index.” Davis was also a pornographer who engaged in bizarre sexual practices, even pedophilia.

Needless to say, Obama’s willingness to identify “Frank” as Davis before this audience raises questions as to why “Frank” wasn’t identified by his full name—Frank Marshall Davis—in the book itself. Obama made references to “Frank” 22 times throughout his book. Paul Kengor notes that Obama’s audio version of Dreams from My Father omitted every reference to “Frank” that was in the book. Those omissions were clearly designed to keep people from asking questions about “Frank,” since Obama was considering a run for the presidency.

Today, in 2015, discovering film of Obama identifying “Frank” as Davis is confirmation of the obvious. It doesn’t make a lot of difference politically, since Obama is serving out his second term. But it could have made a difference seven years ago, in 2008, when we identified “Frank” as Davis, during Obama’s campaign for his first term in office.

The clip of Obama talking about Davis during his 1995 Cambridge presentation is important for other reasons, however.

By his own admission, Obama was preoccupied with his own feelings and thoughts about race relations. He saw himself as an “angry young man” whose father was absent from his life. He said he was “without father figures around who might guide and steer my anger.”

That’s significant because it’s clear, from the passages he reads, that Davis became that father figure. Davis was indeed picked by his white grandfather to be a role model or father figure for the young Barack Obama.

In the passages he read back in 1995, Obama discussed inviting some white friends to a black party and seeing them squirm. “They’re trying to tap their foot to the beat and being extraordinarily friendly,” he said. They are trying to fit in but they are uncomfortable and they tell Obama they want to leave. Obama concluded, “What I have had to put up with every day of my life is something that they find so objectionable that they can’t even put up with a day.”

This is like a revelation to Obama about the world of white racism. All of this he says “triggers” something in his head and he comprehends a “new map of the world.” He gets a sense of the anger and betrayal in society and even in his own family, where he is being raised by his white grandfather, “Gramps,” and white grandmother, “Toot.” This leads him to seek advice from “Frank.”  Frank Marshall Davis then “sort of schools me that I should get used to these frustrations,” Obama says.

The passages that he reads from the book before the Cambridge audience include a discussion of when his own white grandmother was accosted by a black panhandler. Davis told Obama that his grandmother was right to be scared and that “She understands that black people have reason to hate.”

In other words, Davis did not encourage Obama to pursue racial harmony or reconciliation. He told Obama that blacks have a reason, or right, to hate.

It is significant that, back in 1995, Obama decided to read these passages. They clearly reflect what he is all about.

This was also clear to us from reading the book and understanding what Davis was all about. We wrote a column back in 2012 that was titled, “Reason to Hate: Barack Obama’s Racist Roots.” Paul Kengor’s book on Davis, The Communist. Frank Marshall Davis: The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, examined in more detail the Davis mentality and ideology that shaped Obama.

Kengor’s book documented that Davis:

  • Considered American racism a “disease” that “Red Russia” haid solved
  • Wrote in a column on July 20, 1946, that the Soviet Union had, “n less than a generation,” abolished “discrimination and racism”
  • Wrote that “the only people” Winston Churchill cared about were “the white people of the British empire”
  • Labeled the Marshall Plan for Western Europe after World War II a form of white imperialism, designed to “help maintain European empires at the expense of exploited dark colonial peoples”
  • Considered anti-communism a form of racism.

In the video, Obama says that Davis’s remarks about blacks having “a reason to hate” had a profound impact on him. “The earth shook under my feet, ready to crack open at any moment,” he wrote. “I stopped, trying to steady myself, and know for the first time that I was utterly alone.”

During his talk at the Cambridge Public Library, Obama also says some nice things about white people. While he faults America for not making “a serious effort” to address racial problems, he does say that “Americans are decent people” and comments that some things have changed for the better.

But one can sense that the anger is still there.

Looking back at this presentation, and taking into account the policies of the Obama administration, there can be no doubt that Davis’s racism did have a profound impact on Obama.

As we wrote back in 2012, after examining the racist outlook of Davis, “The Obama administration’s tactics are to exploit and manipulate racial and ethnic differences for political gain. This is not an accident but a deliberate political strategy that one can find in the mind of Obama’s communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis, who ‘educated Obama during his critical growing up years. Black people, Davis told Obama, have ‘reason to hate.’ The evidence shows that Obama has incorporated that hatred in his policies and pronouncements.”

Now that Obama’s personal confirmation of the critical role that Davis played in helping to formulate his worldview on racial politics has been made public, perhaps The Washington Post will admit that those of us who warned about Davis’s influence on Obama were right. But we doubt it. The Post won’t ever admit that it missed this story.

Davis’s communism had an impact on Obama as well. Perhaps racism was the hook that got Obama into the Marxist movement. Like Davis, it looks like Obama does see Marxism as the answer to white racism. And that helps explain why the true identity of “Frank” was concealed during Obama’s run for the presidency.

All this info does is reinforce the fact that our beloved president is both a communist or sympathizer with an affinity with Islam, whether that religious sect is peaceful or terrorises others.
That is the fruit the tree that is America today bears for the rest of the world.

  • There was never any doubt that “Frank” was Frank Marshall Davis. The point of contention is his influence on Obama.

It’s obvious that Frank never indoctrinated Obama in communism. Obama didn’t even know about Frank’s CPUSA background! Frank was a CLOSET member who never admitted his membership in public, much less advocate communism!

Your claim that “”His values, passed on to Obama, were those of a communist agent who pledged allegiance to Stalin” (see http://www.aim.org/aim-column/media-excuse-obamas-false-advertising/ ) is without merit and may be dismissed with impunity.

  • AndRebecca

Obama’s entire family was communist and two of them were Muslim, his father and step-father. Why all the denial?

  • ;^)

Seems like you are the heir to the Davis throne of lies, disinformation, pedophilia, and general race fomenting.

    You are human garbage.

  • csguys9798

There’s a lot in this article that apparently supports the author’s supposition. Mark on the other hand would do himself a favor by offering real sources for his different opinion so that we can all check them out for ourselves.

It’s not necessary or honorable to call names. You just lower yourself in the view of everybody else on this forum when you can’t rebutt someone in a civil fashion.

  • stringman

If part of your point is that communists don’t go around announcing to everyone that they are communists…….well, do tell! No one here would have guessed that (sarcasm). And, if another part of your point is that Obama didn’t know that Davis was a CPUSA member…..well, then, why all the effort to omit the last name from his autobiography twenty two times(and omit Davis from the audio version completely.) Only the hardest core of the hardest core communists come out in public. The rest call themselves progressives, and socialists, and liberals, and forward thinkers, etc. Let’s don’t confuse impunity with impudence. Only a ‘true’ intellectual would believe what you wrote here. That puts your point squarely at the top of your head.

Bill Clinton had communist mentors as well.
Even more telling was Clinton’s January 4 (1970) return trip from Moscow on
another Aeroflot jet. The flight terminated in Prague, then the capital of the
Czechoslovakian Soviet Socialist Republic (CSSR). There, Clinton was a guest
of Jan Kopold’s father, Bedrich Kopold and Jan’s maternal grandmother
Maria Svermova, who was the original founder of the Czech Communist Party in the 1930s. During his visit, she took a liking to young Bill; they walked
and talked. Svermova’s deceased husband was the original editor of Rude
Pravo, the Czech Communist Party paper before the War.

Excellent point. It’s extremely difficult for Americans to imagine that good Ole Bubba could be a communist in sheep’s clothing. But, there it is. And, few get the fact that Hillary is even further left than Obama. Dear God, is that even possible? I’m afraid so.

I pray that the days of civility in America are not over. Unfortunately, my prayers don’t have a very good track record of late. And, the trend seems to be worsening with time. American citizens are arming themselves in record numbers with good reason, I fear.

    STFU, communist apologist.

  • jack brennan

Someone indoctrinated Barack Obama to his deep, open, personal Bias against White America; his Mother, his step-Father, his Teachers, and, most probably Frank Marshall Davis and other Communists.
If Obama was born White, in the same circumstances, it is probable that he would never been President in any circumstances.
Blacks had a hard start in America; but, arguably, much better off than those starving, lowest of the low whites, who primarily came here from the earliest times, from Ireland, Scotland, England, Italy, Poland, Russia, Germany, France, etc..
As Miserable as Slavery was it had, arguably two advantages. Unlike many whites who lived in near starving and poverty conditions, slaves could not be sold for less than a minimum amount on the Slave Market. (I think it was $1,000.00.)
That some Slaves were miss-treated had to have happened. But, Slave-owners had to know that damaged, underfed, or un-healthy slaves would be literally “damaged goods” on the Market; and only sell for the lowest Price!
It behooved the Slave Owner to treat Slaves as they would any other valuable investment!
In contrast, and as bad as Slavery was/is, one should look at the Historical Photos of Millions and Millions of Immigrant and Native Whites living in Starving and Poverty condition, all over America, from the earliest Days to the 1940’s.
As bad as Slavery was, white Poverty/Starvation was horrific. Obama should give up his Hatred of Whitey. He should help Black American Males solve this most serious problem of modern Black American Males.
STATISTICS SHOW THAT BLACK MALES ARE 6% OF the American Population, but, BLACK MALES COMMITT OVER 50% OF VIOLENT CRIME ! OBAMA should stop Hating White Americans; he should concentrate on solving the disaster of Black Male Crime.

All part of his maturation. Also as the Nobel peace prize was just handed to him for nothing, so to was his Harvard Law Degree. Barack the Bionic Marxist Liberal made it. It isn’t him, nor the People who created him. We Americans who have always had free will, a God Given Gift, elected him twice. Now their is a better than 50% chance Hillary will take his place. We deserve everything we are going to get.

Rumor is that all reference to “Frank” has been deleted in the Audio version of the book.

Your DNA test will prove F.M.Davis is obama’s biological father, period. And I feel that YOU know this. This would link YOU to obama via he’s your half-brother. Now this will take him down & expose the fraud that he is.

  • Because you are apparently suffering from delusions.

  • There is no EVIDENCE to support AIM’s claim that “His values, passed on to Obama, were those of a communist agent who pledged allegiance to Stalin”!

Further, he never advocated communism nor even admitted his CPUSA membership in public.

BTW: You will find that people are often mentioned only by their first names in memoirs.

  • My, what an ACTIVE imagination! Jump to conclusions much?

Jumping to conclusions seems to be quite common in the fantasyland of the right-wing blogosphere. Such conclusions are drawn despite other likely explanations for the evidence presented. In the world of disinformation, speculation is misrepresented as fact.

When asked to substantiate their conclusions, we may encounter bluster, red herrings, and ad hominem attacks more often than rational, focused answers. Military Intelligence students are quickly disabused of such behavior, and learn the value of supporting every conclusion they proffer. Researchers at the Rand Corporation and other highly regarded research institutions often come from such rigorous backgrounds, where conclusions are based on empirical evidence, rather than wishful thinking. It’s a pity that blogosphere researchers and commentators are not held to similar high standards of accuracy.

Important enough to put in his autobiography twenty two times, important enough to be a mentor. And, I never said that Davis came out publicly. I was drawing a distinction between Davis and others of his ilk. If you don’t think OBama is a marxist, you have my sympathies…..for your ignorance. The United States Congress has many communists. Obama may not have been issued a card but, he was one of them.

  • Sorry, AndRebecca, but such unsubstantiated claims are without merit and may be dismissed with impunity as the ravings of another demented denizen of Right-Wing Fantasyland.

It is the lying demokrat party that should sponsor your trip to the states – you don’t want them to come to you, & you know why.- it will be goodby Davis. Black males pass a facial identity onto there male offspring & both you and your half-brother are identical in those features. You are a bit heavier than obama but the features remain identifiable. Don’t worry the average American obama supporting fool will not raise enough hell to obtain the facts.

  • Foolish Grasshoppa! Obviously you are confused. Unless someone advocates the elimination of both capitalism and private property, they do not advocate “communism.”

  • The Democratic Party could hardly care less about your Birther delusions. If YOU want DNA evidence, then YOU should pay the cost!

  • AndRebecca

I know they did the best they could to cover everything up, but didn’t. Why do you suppose Obama’s grandpa could only find Frank to befriend him? Read Obama’s books and the Kengor book and look at the evidence on the net. Denial is a river in Egypt isn’t it? Now I’m being unoriginal…There’s a name for your problem. Compulsive lying. It’s a real medical condition. Check it out.

  • stringman

Ha! If they’re keeping their agenda from public scrutiny then, how would you know they don’t advocate those ideas? I’ll give you a hint. The Congressional black caucus en masse made a trip to Cuba to grovel at and worship at the feet of their communist hero, Fidel Castro. They make up a significant portion of the esteemed body. And their leftist insanity is only the tip of the leftist iceberg. I don’t know where you’re getting your facts. You seem to be under some kind of spell.

It would seem to me that you would want the slanderous comments to stop, then YOU should stop it yourself. You are attempting to play the innocent role, which is why you use the standard line of the first class return ticket to Hawaii. I don’t have delusions as I have studied this for 7 yrs. I do have assistance tho, my husband is also Black & not just a un-skilled obama supporter as you may think. You know damn well obama “corn cob pipe” senior is not obama’s father – you are running cover to avoid a national lie. And that is why anyone who votes for a leftist or a Democrat doesn’t know s**t. I have no love for most politicians, even republicans. But anybody that peels their eyes open for even a minute, can see the lesser of the two evils. Fact is, you either don’t care if Davis is Obama’s real father, or you’re just lying about it. Either way, you’re opinion is of no value.

  • If they never reveal their “agenda,” then it is apparently a figment of your imagination. “Follow the evidence”!!

  • Focus, Grasshoppa, focus! Their “Cuban vacation” is irrelevant to the point of contention: whether or not they advocate COMMUNISM.

  • Carolina Jounsion

He was not elected,he was installed by the uber crust, the rothschild / Rockerfellers / Schiffs and many others that are very Communists put barry into the wh back in 2008. then they made it LOOK like he was elected, via voter fraud usage of dead people voted used and demoncrates. 🙁 I found out Russia 1970’s at a meet & greet, a drunk politicans wife told Journalist Fife they ( the Russian ) knew about Barry Obama being Groomed from a young age to be the 1st black president in the usa sector. 2008 to 2015 ( so far ) . 🙁

  • John Cunningham

Yes! No doubt, everything you just said is true. Barack Obama was genetically engineered to be who he is. Not in the scientific aspect but, planning has been going on for a long time. It will take years to find out all the money stolen by this syndicate. The thing is Congress knows everything we know and seem oblivious to it. America, we are being reamed out and, if we continue to let it happen?

We’re you dropped on your head (repeatedly) as a child? You dont have the logistical abilities of a teenager. If they constantly advocate for bigger government, higher taxes, and stricter regulations ie. less freedom then, sooner or later there won’t be any private property or capitalism. That they (also) worship communist dictators is the coup de grace of the argument. Focus, indeed. You could have figments……if you had any imagination.

  • carolinagirl101

Have noticed you on numerous sites defending President Obama. My question to you is what about his other communist/radical influences like Malcolm X, Van Jones, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, Louis Farrakhan, Rev. Wright; also Valerie Jarrett and David Axelrod who have deep communist ties in Chicago, i.e. Valerie’s father-in-law, who ran a communist newspaper in Chicago with Frank Marshall Davis. Why so many radical/communist influences in Obama’s life? How did he become the leader of the “free” world? How did he win the Nobel Peace Prize. Instead of Peace through Strength, we now definitely have Chaos through Weakness. Why is he making nice with oppressive communist Cuba, being more “flexible” with aggressive Russia, allowing China to cheat on trade, and dealing with fanatical Iran, while treating our ally, Israel, a democracy, like the enemy? Why did his wife say “For the first time in my adult life, I’m proud of my country.” What’s your take on all that. And don’t start calling me names and accusing me of being a Fox News fanatic. After the way Fox treated Mitt Romney, I’m done with them. And Hillary has more baggage than a 747…

Communism is dialectical materialism, the philosophy of Karl Marx that he formulated by taking the dialectic of Hegel, marrying it to the materialism of Feuerbach, abstracting from it the concept of progress in terms of the conflict of contradictory, interacting forces called the Thesis and the Antithesis culminating at a critical nodal point where one overthrows the other, giving rise to the Synthesis, applying it to the history of social development, and deriving therefrom an essentially
    revolutionary concept of social change.

  • The fact that he did not indoctrinate his ACTUAL son is compelling evidence to refute the allegation.

  • Kengor’s book? SURELY you jest!

Dr. Kengor’s recent book,” The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor,” is an propaganda “smear,” according to Professor Tidwell of the University of Kansas, who is recognized by both “Accuracy In Media” and the Davis family as an “expert in the life and writings of Frank Marshall Davis.” (Accuracy In Media first made the “Obama’s Communist Mentor” charge in 2008 at http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/ )

I’m thinkin’ I heard of the Communist FMD long before I heard of Obama or Kengor. Having known several communists personally, the idea of the whole family being that way wasn’t a stretch for me. The idea of a communist family having a communist friend is not exactly farfetched either. What exactly did Obama’s white grandpa do for a living? Do you happen to know the answer to that?

  • Feet2Fire

Absolutely! That’s why people want the TRUTH to come out about all the **** going on… and the “mysteries” past and present.

  • Feet2Fire

Absolutely ridiculous to point to that “3 Pinocchio” crap as “proof” of anything. Michelle Lee was given all the evidence she needed and she still got it wrong.

Why do you waste people’s time with these denials?

  • Feet2Fire

Guess you haven’t seen the recently uncovered “From the Vault” video where the Big -0- specifically states that “Frank” is Frank Marshal Davis. Otherwise, only a fool would continue this bogus denial schtick. Won’t waste further time with you, since you have nothing but foolishness and denial to offer.

  • Feet2Fire

BS. Have you never read any of your own father’s stupid articles in Commie mags?
You are wasting people’s time and energy with these ridiculous denials. YOU, with so much denial and ignorance, sound like a poseur son, more than the Big -0- does!

Won’t waste any more time on your BS.

  • MarkRoth

Did you live (and grow up) with Frank Marshall Davis or did you live with your mother (or both)?
Were your parents married at the time your father “mentored” Obama? Where were you during that time?
What do you think Obama meant by the term “mentored” when used with respect to Frank Marshall Davis?

  • Silly Grasshoppa! Of COURSE “Frank” is Frank Marshall Davis. That is not even a point of contention!

  • How about the idea of a communist whose son eventually retires as an Air Force Intelligence Officer, such as was the case with Frank Marshall Davis?

  • It is proof that by MAINSTREAM standards, AIM’s “Obama’s Communist Mentor” is a pile of crap.

    Capisce?

  • I lived with both of them until I joined the USAF in 1968. He didn’t meet Obama until 1971, after my parents divorced.

I do not believe Obama ever used the word “mentor” with respect to Frank Marshall Davis. That is just one card in the house of lies against the Obama-Davis relationship. See http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/01/22/5896467-disinformation-against-the-obama-davis-relationship-10-april-2011

BTW: Thank you for maintaining a cordial discussion!

  • AndRebecca

You becoming an Air Force Intelligence Officer doesn’t cause your father to become something other than a communist, does it? And you becoming an AFIO doesn’t prevent you from being a communist either, does it? Communists go into the military. So, I’m not sure what your point is. I am happy to hear you’ve had a successful career in spite of your upbringing.

  • Don’t know about any so-called “Commie rags,” but I have studied his columns for the Honolulu Record (an ILWU publication, not a “Commie rag.” They are posted at http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/02/22/6109233-1949-frank-ly-speaking-honolulu-record-column and http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/02/22/6109262-1950-frank-ly-speaking-honolulu-record-column

Mark, have you seen the recent Marxist Mole video with Cliff Kincaid, Trevor Loudon and a Washington Post journalist? It paints a picture of Frank as the hardest communist in America:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CO4Z1f5McWc

BTW, don’t you think Obama looks more like your dad than the Kenyan “father”?

  • DaveGinOly

I have a theory that Davis is Obama’s actual father, and that the story of his birth in Hawaii wasn’t told because he was born in Kenya (he was), but was told to cover his true parentage.

At the time of Obama’s birth, a federal statute required that in order for an American parent married to a foreigner to be able to pass his or her American citizenship on to a child, the parent must have spent ten years prior to the birth of the child in the United States, with at least five of those years passing after that parent’s fourteenth birthday. Obama’s mother was only 18 when she gave birth to little Barry, so, by statute, the math (14+5=19)* says she was unable to pass her citizenship status to him. This is why it is important for him to assert he was born in Hawaii, so that he can claim citizenship because of his place of birth, rather than through his parentage.

Note that I’m not arguing that Obama isn’t a citizen. I believe team Obama was aware of this law, or they wouldn’t have made such a fuss over where he was born (otherwise they would have rested their case on his birth to a parent who was herself an American citizen, wherever that birth happened to have taken place).

Personally, I think he is a citizen, and he was born in Kenya. If his mother was legally incapable of passing her citizenship status to Barry, how can he be foreign born and still be a “natural born citizen”? Through his father – Frank Marshall Davis. Team Obama knew he’d never be elected if the identity of his actual father (a communist and communist agitator) was known to the public. So they concealed his parentage. But his mother’s disability under the law and his foreign birth posed a problem – how can Obama claim citizenship without revealing his father’s identity? The solution was to claim he was born in Hawaii. So although the story of his birth is false, it wasn’t devised to conceal the place of his birth per se, but to conceal the place of his birth to avoid having to make a legitimate claim to his citizenship through his father, an admission that would have made him unelectable. (If they thought just being mentored by a commie would have made him unelectable, certainly being fathered and mentored by the same commie would have created a similar problem. BTW, Obama’s biographers have wanted to know, “What did Davis see in young Barry?” My theory explains why Davis was so interested in BHO.)

BTW, the law was changed after Barry’s birth, so Ted Cruz (foreign born to one US parent) is off the hook. He is a “natural born citizen” because he was born to his citizenship status and not “naturalized” – a legal, not a natural, process.

*Note: Ann Dunham’s birthday was 11/29 and BHO’s birthday is 8/4, so not quite five years had passed from Dunham’s 14th birthday to BHO’s birth.

    Noooooooo, Really?

  • Yes, their interaction with the WaPo Fact Checker was cited in the WaPo article at http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2015/03/23/frank-marshall-davis-obamas-communist-mentor/

“We interviewed Kincaid at the Conservative Political Action Conference. When The Fact Checker arrived, Kincaid had been waiting with four of his peers, stacks of documents and a video camera pointed at an empty seat saved for us.”

But their “evidence” did not substantiate their claims:

“So we decided to take a definitive look at Davis’s Communist Party activities and his relationship with Obama, based on competing research by those who have spent years trying to posthumously vindicate or indict Davis.”

  • rich34952

Were you in a first name relationship with Frank Marshall Davis, the admitted communist and mentor to YOUR Muslim POTUS?

  • rich34952

    You are a fraud.

  • “First name relationship”? Not exactly. I called him “dad” as I was growing up. See http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/01/22/5896467-disinformation-against-the-obama-davis-relationship-10-april-2011

  • Not exactly. I called him “Dad” when I was growing up. He also schooled ME on “white racism,” but never indoctrinated me on communism.

  • How so? EXACTLY what is “fraudulent”?? Do you doubt that I am his son?

“Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts” – Daniel Moynihan

  • rich34952

I do not believe a word you have said about the commie Marshall being your father. If you were his “son” you wouldn’t be so eager to announce your relationship.

  • Foolish Grasshoppa! You can view my birth certificate on Birther website http://www.birtherreport.com/2015/04/frank-marshall-davis-sons-hawaii-birth.html#IDComment966063732 . Even Cliff Kincaid does not dispute my parentage.

Obviously you are ignorant of the fact that Frank Marshall Davis was respected as a journalist, poet, and civil rights activist since the 1930’s. Until AIM’s 2008 “Obama’s Communist Mentor” propaganda (THREE Pinocchios!), anti-Davis propaganda hardly existed!

For objective articles on Davis, please see http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/06/23/6928379-objective-articles-on-frank-marshall-davis

  • rich34952

You didn’t mention WHO respected Frank Marshall Davis as a journalist, poet and civil rights activist? Those who were like him would praise him to continue his subversion work in the USA. It would be like the devil praising evil. You also mentioned in a previous comment that Frank schooled you on problems between black and whites, but never spoke to you about being a good communist. Really!

  • rich34952

I clicked on the Encyclopedia.com site that you sent me, with other sites that you said praised Frank Marshall. In my last comment I said that people like Marshall would praise him. Well, Langston Hughes, who praised Marshall’s works, was mentioned in the site that I open and the site’s article stated that he was a communist just like Marshall. Don’t you get the point, communists are OUR enemy and the world’s enemy. They are members of a godless society, who dictate how and where people will live under their control. People like you will never learn, even if the facts were hand delivered to you, tied in a bow.

The facts are in plain sight. Obama resembles your dad far more than his supposed Kenyan father. Even Obama’s best-man at his wedding (Malik Obama) now doubts Obama’s parentage and wants a DNA test. A “resemblance” is a subjective measurement of similarity. It may be subjective but it’s still a measurement, and that takes it beyond the realm of opinion, and into the realm of measurable facts. If such measurements were done scientifically, instead of intuitively, we would call it a factual comparison/resemblance.

BTW, Obama and Frank have deep voices. Obama’s voice is a bit deeper than Malik and Mark Obama. Is your voice deep like Obama’s?

Here’s a stark visual comparison. Obama’s overall skull structure matches Frank’s way more than the Kenyan:
    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-lB8WQNHTul4/UA76m91ckuI/AAAAAAAACpQ/4kJOughI3pk/s1600/Obama+-+Who+is+your+real+father.jpg

  • My voice is in the same register.

BTW: Gilbert’s “daddy Davis” delusion was decisively debunked by conservative website The American Thinker at http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/04/whos_your_daddy_another_look_at_joel_gilberts_emdreams_from_my_real_fatherem.html

  • Michael R

Yeah I read that article. But even if the whole of Gilbert can be debunked, that still leaves the facial comparison leaning towards Frank as the father, and that’s the most powerful evidence, IMO.

BTW, do you see any resemblance between Obama’s daughters and your sisters? Despite Michelle Obama’s weird features, I think Sasha Obama (when smiling) looks a bit like Lynn Davis.

  • AndRebecca

I just looked up your father in a google search and it seems there’s a lot more on the net about the Davis and Obama families and on Stanley Armour Dunham. No one really seems to know much about what Stanley Armour did for work, but the FBI had a file on him which has been destroyed. Interesting.

  • Here is more evidence of disinformation against the Obama-Davis relationship: Cliff Kincaid’s claim that the “FBI Admits Destroying File on Barack Obama’s Grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham” (http://www.usasurvival.org/docs/dunham.pdf).

If you actually READ the FBI statement responding to Kincaid’s request for Stanley Dunham’s FBI
records, it should be immediately apparent that the FBI did NOT admit that it destroyed any file on Obama’s grandfather. This 26 March 2010 FBI letter reads, in part:

“Records which may be responsive to your Freedom of Information-Privacy Acts (FOIPA) request were destroyed on May 01, 1997. Since the
material could not be reviewed, it is not known if it was responsive to your request.”

    -http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=139737

Please note that the FBI only advised that “records which MAY be responsive” were destroyed in 1997, but it is NOT KNOWN if they actually apply. From this kernel of truth, Kincaid has once again fabricated evidence against Obama. The FBI letter did not “admit” that it had destroyed his grandfather’s file, nor did it even confirm that it ever had an FBI file on his grandfather. The FBI did NOT know if the 1997 destruction even contained a file on Dunham.

Nevertheless, Cliff Kincaid misrepresented the FBI’s vague response as an ADMISSION that it had
destroyed his grandfather’s FBI file. This is the essence of trumped-up evidence: blatant misrepresentation of evidence (the “big lie”). Other disinformation campaigns may depend on viral rumors that are amplified with each embellishment, or carefully designed false implications.

BTW: Albeit faint praise, I must commend AIM for even PERMITTING me to respond on this website. Some conservative websites (e.g. WND) seem to have banned any response from me, which seems to reflect their commitment to perpetuating this disinformation.

  • AndRebecca

I didn’t read the FBI file statement on a Cliff Kincaid site or WND. There were many sites to look at. In Obama’s book, he did everything but admit he was a communist. Why wouldn’t people believe that of him?

  • “Why wouldn’t people believe that of him”??

Probably because rational people follow the evidence rather than unsubstantiated opinion. See http://kaleokualoha2878577.newsvine.com/_news/2011/01/08/5793731-socialism-and-barack-obama-september-1-2012

The Rise And Fall Of Jim Crow –President Woodrow Wilson Re-Segregated The Federal Government.
In 1912 Woodrow Wilson, the Democratic candidate for president, promised fairness and justice for blacks if elected. In a letter to a black church official, Wilson wrote, “Should I become President of the United States they may count upon me for absolute fair dealing for everything by which I could assist in advancing their interests of the race.” But after the election, Wilson changed his tune. He dismissed 15 out of 17 black supervisors who had been previously appointed to federal jobs
and replaced them with whites. He also refused to appoint black ambassadors to Haiti and Santa Domingo, posts traditionally awarded to African Americans. Two of Wilson’s cabinet ministers, Postmaster General Albert Burelson and Treasury Secretary William McAdoo, both Southerners, issued orders
segregating their departments. Throughout the country, blacks were segregated or dismissed from federal positions. In Georgia, the head of the Internal Revenue division fired all black employees: “There are no government positions for Negroes in the South. A Negro’s place in the corn field.” He said. The President’s wife, Ellen Wilson, was said to have had a hand in segregating employees in Washington, encouraging department chiefs to assign blacks separate working, eating, and toilet facilities. To justify segregation, officials publicized complaints by white women, who were thought to be threatened by black men’s sexuality and disease.

Some African-Americans were fearless in fighting back. Mary Church Terrell, a federal employee and leading African-American clubwoman, embarrassed officials by publicly threatening to publicize the fact that restrooms had been segregated in her area. In return for her not publicizing the situation, her department agreed to cancel the order
Also, W.E.B. Du Bois sharply criticized President Wilson in THE CRISIS: “The federal government has set the colored apart as if mere contact with them were contamination. Behind screens and closed doors they now sit as though leprous. How long will it be before the hateful epithets of ‘Nigger’ and ‘Jim Crow’ are openly applied?” The NAACP’s active campaign forced Wilson to back off from segregating the federal government. Jim Crow was checked but not rooted out. It would remain in place until the New Deal of Franklin Roosevelt.

    Woodrow Wilsons Legacy
. Those comparing Obama winning the Nobel to Wilson winning one as well, need to know that it is not in any way a compliment when you know history.
. Wilson was weak and late in getting into WWI. Millions died while he dithered. If he had lent our support earlier, our troops would have faced a Germany that still had 2,000,000 men fighting in Russia. Facing a weaker force, we may have ended the stalemate and marched on Germany. Instead, his lack of political realism and will to do the right thing, allowed the Russians to surrender & Germany to move 2,000,000 soldiers to fight against us in the West, costing hundreds of thousands of lives and ending the war in a stalemate. It can be strongly argued that a more aggressive Wilson could have prevented a Russian communist revolution and a chaotic post war Germany.
. His weakness & lack of foresight reared its head again post war when he tried to set up the league of nations and to temper the armistice agreement with the Germans. His inability to create a powerful League and to limit Europe’s onerous treaty with the Germans, stoked the fires of WWII.
. Yes, he won a Nobel, but his passifist tendencies allowed Czarist Russia to fall, Communism to rise and fostered enormous pain what would all too soon manifest as Hitler’s Germany. The cost of a weak Wilson is perhaps the deaths of 200,000,000 people, when you add in the disease of Communisms spread.
. What will the cost of Obama’s legacy be?

    The Clintons’ Pornographer
Or should we say, Minister of Culture?

    By Paul Kengor – 5.8.15
“When Larry Flynt is feeling righteous, he describes himself as a crusader: for civil liberties in general and free speech in particular.” So begins a profile of porn king Larry Flynt in Bloomberg. “But now Bloomberg Politics can exclusively report that the impresario behind the Hustler empire is adding a new element to his persona: Flynt is officially ready for Hillary.”

Bloomberg was present for the “bestowal of Flynt’s blessing on Clinton,” granted from the pornographer’s sprawling abode high above L.A.’s Wilshire Boulevard, which had the “look of an unholy, Hollywood Babylon hybrid of Tara and the Uffizi.”

It took little prompting to get Flynt’s enthusiastic endorsement of the feminist icon: “I’m endorsing Hillary Clinton for president!” declared the man who has made gazillions photographing nude women in every imaginable pose.

Bloomberg notes that Flynt’s backing of Clinton is “on the face of it, unsurprising.” The porn king has always been a big fan of Democrats, for whom his advocacy “has been lifelong and unfailing.” In fact, noted the Bloomberg reporter, one of Flynt’s better political pals is California Governor Jerry Brown, who, coincidentally, happened to be next in waiting to see Flynt that afternoon.

Flynt does not like Republicans. With its usual flare for understatement, his magazine proclaims George W. Bush the “A–hole of the Century.” Coming from Larry Flynt, Bush can take that as a giant positive.

Bloomberg noted the “animating impulse” behind Flynt’s endorsement: the future of the Supreme Court. “If Hillary gets in,” explains the Hustler publisher, “chances are she’s going to have an opportunity to appoint two, maybe three justices… and we could shift the balance there.” No question about that.

But Larry Flynt is not only hyped for Hillary. The Bloomberg piece includes this revealing passage on Flynt’s admiration of Hillary’s husband, which he claims is mutual:

That Flynt holds a special place in his heart for 42 [Bill Clinton] is evident, and Flynt claims that the feeling is mutual. In 2006, the two men ran into each other at a fundraiser in Las Vegas for Jimmy Carter’s son, Jack, who was running for Senate in Nevada. According to Flynt, Bill Clinton—apparently still grateful for the porn king’s role in the downfall of [Republican House Speaker-to-be] Bob Livingston, a key moment in the deflation of the impeachment bubble—walked over, shook Flynt’s hand, and said, “You’re my hero.” As I prepare to leave, Flynt shows me a photo on his desk of him and Clinton from the fundraiser, noting that the former president has denied the quote in question. “He can say whatever he wants,” Flynt chuckles. “I have three witnesses.”

Fascinating scenario, is it not? Flynt and Bill Clinton grabbing and grinning thankfully at a Vegas fundraiser for the son of born-again Baptist President Jimmy Carter, the Democrats’ moral exemplar. And Bill embraces the porn master as his hero? And Flynt even has a picture? And Clinton denies it? Gee, who do we believe in this one? Who would Hillary believe?

While he was at it, Bill should’ve asked Flynt for a donation to his and Hillary’s foundation. In fact, I wonder if Flynt ever provided one….

I’m somewhat familiar with the Clintons’ unique relationship with this political bedfellow. In my 2007 book on the faith of Hillary Clinton, God and Hillary Clinton, I detailed a scarcely acknowledged fact concerning the Clinton years—namely, that Bill’s presence in the Oval Office was a boon for the porn industry.

This was captured in an excellent 2002 PBS documentary called “American Porn,” done by Frontline. It quoted Mark Cromer, producer of the X-rated Hustler Video: “When [Bill] Clinton comes in,” said Cromer of Clinton’s arrival at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, “it’s definitely blue skies and green lights and fat bank accounts.”

The green light was directly traceable to the Clinton administration. In the 1980s, the porn industry had been on the ropes, targeted by the Reagan administration, notably the vigilant efforts of Attorney General Ed Meese. Then, in the early 1990s, federal porn prosecutions suddenly halted with the arrival of the Clinton administration and its “different priorities” under the Clinton-Janet Reno Justice Department. “Under Attorney General Reno,” noted Frontline, “federal prosecutions slowed dramatically, and the obscenity task force effectively went out of business.”

The obscenely racist—yes, not just sexist but racist—Hustler magazine was so ecstatic with the Clinton era and all its happenings, legally and symbolically, emanating both from and under Bill’s Oval Office desk, that Larry Flynt went to bat for Bill during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, investigating the sexual lives of the president’s opponents. So busy was Flynt that the late Michael Kelly, the superb Washington Post columnist, christened Flynt “the president’s pornographer.”

Flynt is the first to gratefully admit that the porn industry enjoyed a resurrection under Mrs. Clinton’s husband, until things soured again for a time under George W. Bush and Attorney General John Ashcroft.

That’s another subject. As for Hillary Clinton, however, Flynt is again excited. And his excitement relates to a crucial factor ignored by Bloomberg and others: abortion. It’s the elephant on the porn set.

Larry Flynt and his industry—from performers to peddlers to consumers—need abortion badly. They must have it. And there’s no one more extreme in supporting abortion than Hillary Clinton. In my book on Hillary, I laid out at length her striking stridency on abortion, going all the way back to her Arkansas gynecologist and friend, William F. Harrison, who for decades was the state’s leading abortionist, mutilating tens of thousands of unborn babies. I interviewed Harrison several times for the book. He adored Hillary and described her as a fellow “pro-choice Methodist.”

Hillary is now well beyond “pro-choice Methodist.” Her statements in recent years, especially the horrific remarks she made on the Hobby Lobby case (click here for an analysis), reveal Hillary Clinton to be an abortion fanatic. She is utterly unhinged on the issue, radical beyond all boundaries.

Of course, that’s what Larry Flynt and the porn industry need; they crave an abortion zealot in the White House who will battle to keep the doors of the “clinics” wide open. When Larry and his friends inseminate a woman whose purpose is to serve strictly as their pleasure unit, and her contraception fails to fend off their sperm, they need abortion to discard the undesired byproduct. When one of his industry’s female performers accidentally gets pregnant, threatening to bloat the physical figure that is the object of Flynt’s customers’ desires, that girl needs Planned Parenthood. Hillary will fight to keep that spigot flowing.

Never mind, of course, that this blatant sexual objectification and exploitation of women for purely selfish male-centered reasons ought to infuriate feminists like Mrs. Clinton. For radical feminists, any man’s litany of sins is forgiven at the altar of their most blessed sacrament: abortion.

Just ask Hillary’s husband. Bill intimately learned of abortion’s reverence in the feminist church. My favorite anecdote illustrating the point was the infamous proclamation of journalist Nina Burleigh, who in the 1990s covered the White House for Time. Defending Bill Clinton’s sexual ruination of very young women (interns, no less) within the confines of the nation’s first house, Burleigh in 1998 wrote of her president: “I’d be happy to give him [oral sex] just to thank him for keeping abortion legal.” Burleigh recommended: “I think American women should be lining up with their presidential kneepads on, to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs.”

Now there’s a vision of American women that Larry Flynt would heartily endorse. But for 2016, he’s content with his dream of a woman named Clinton elected to the White House. She’ll keep the theocracy off Flynt’s back—and the doors to abortion clinics wide open.

Hillary Clinton Confederate Flag Merchandise Surfaces on EBAY
    Joel B Pollak 23 June 2015
Hillary Clinton has managed to avoid any questions about the Confederate flag, even as her Republican rivals have faced a media onslaught since the murder of nine black congregants by a racist white gunman in a Charleston church last week. Vintage Clinton merchandise featuring the Confederate flag has begun to surface on the Internet, however.
One merchant on eBay is offering campaign buttons from 2008 that were purportedly produced by supporters of Hillary Clinton’s campaign for president. One is advertised as a souvenir of the Arkansas Travelers, a Clinton-backed group that traveled from Arkansas to support both Bill and Hillary Clinton’s presidential runs. The button features the Confederate flag behind the message: “Arkansas Travelers In Support of Hillary Clinton for President South Carolina 2008.”
Breitbart News has contacted the seller, who vouches for the button’s authenticity.
Another item purports to be a button supporting Hillary Clinton in Alabama in 2008. It features a Confederate flag behind a map of the state and a portrait of Clinton, above the slogan, “Heritage not Hate.” (Barack Obama won that state’s primary.)
In addition, campaign merchandise featuring Bill Clinton and the Confederate flag has surfaced widely across the Internet.
There is no indication that the Clintons ever discouraged Confederate flag-themed merchandise being produced in support of their respective candidacies.
Although Hillary Clinton has not commented on–or been asked about–the Confederate flag controversy, she told the U.S. Conference of Mayors last week that white Americans needed to “question our own assumptions and privilege.”
Update: In 2007, Hillary Clinton commented on the Confederate flag in South Carolina, saying that she “personally would like to see it removed from the Statehouse grounds.” She has not been asked about the flag in the present context.

Bill Clinton Signed Law Honoring ‘the Confederate States of America’
    06.22.2015 | Alicia Powe | 2

Controversy over the Confederate Flag, which still flies from South Carolina’s capitol grounds, has heated up after the terrorist attack on the Emanuel AME Church that saw nine people slaughtered because of the color of their skin.
Pictures have emerged of the suspected killer, Dylan Roof Dylan Roof, burning the American flag and holding the Confederate flag.
Republican Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina called for the removal of the Confederate battle flag on Monday. Mitt Romney went as far as saying take it down. Jeb Bush pointed to his removal of the flag from the Florida capitol when he was governor as a sign of his disapproval of it. President Barack Obama’s spokesman said the flag belongs in a museum.
Nearly all 2016 contenders have been barraged with media questions about the flag, except the leading candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Clinton. Clinton keeps calling for increased gun control, but has remained silent on the flag controversy.
Clinton did, however, call for the flag to be removed from the South Carolina capitol in 2007 during her first presidential campaign. Yet, her husband, former Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton, signed a law which designated a portion of the state flag to commemorate the Confederate States of America.
“The blue star above the word “ARKANSAS” is to commemorate the Confederate States of America,” Clinton’s law reads.
The Clintons presided over the annual celebration of “Confederate Flag Day” while they occupied the governor’s mansion, which continues to this day. This year the event will be celebrated on April 7th.
Hillary must have forgotten about celebrating Confederate Flag Day each year.
Two buttons offering support for one of Bill Clinton’s presidential runs were prominent on social media over the weekend.
The first shows the Confederate battle flag with the words “Clinton-Gore” superimposed. See image at image: ://3hvfzc2w6u7kruih321x50k11vq.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Clinton-Gore-1992-Confederate1.jpg

The second goes a bit further, portraying Clinton and Gore in the gray uniforms of the Confederacy. It’s currently for sale on eBay. Go to image: at //3hvfzc2w6u7kruih321x50k11vq.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/ebay.jpg

It’s unclear if the Clinton-Gore Confederate flag campaign button was an official part of their 1992 presidential campaign and Hillary Clinton isn’t clarifying, nor is her team responding to questions about her husband honoring the flag as Arkansas governor in 1987.
Gee, what would the media’s response be if campaign paraphernalia was discovered that featured the names Romney and Ryan atop the Dixie flag?

As Governor, Bill Clinton Kept ‘Confederate’ Star On The Arkansas Flag
Posted: 06/22/2015 3:30 pm EDT Updated: 06/24/2015 5:59 pm EDT Huffington Post

WASHINGTON — Many Republican presidential contenders say the question of whether to keep the Confederate flag flying outside South Carolina’s Statehouse is a matter for South Carolinians to work out among themselves. Democratic candidates like Hillary Clinton tend to say that the flag — a symbol of racism and oppression to many — ought to come down, especially in the wake of last week’s racially motivated mass shooting in Charleston. (Clinton has not made an official statement about South Carolina’s flag since the shooting, but in 2007 she did say she “would like to see it removed” from the Statehouse grounds.)

But the former secretary of state, who is now running for president, is not the first Clinton to weigh in on the matter of the Confederacy. The state flag of Arkansas sports 25 white stars and four blue ones. And in 1987, while serving as governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton signed a bill affirming that one of those blue stars is there in honor of the Confederate States of America.

A few words here about the Arkansas state flag, which — like most flags — is laden with symbols and references that may not be immediately apparent. According to the Arkansas secretary of state, the flag’s original design, approved by the state legislature in 1913, had only three blue stars, not four. The three blue stars were meant to represent a number of things, including the year of the Louisiana Purchase (1803) and the fact that “Arkansas belonged to three countries (France, Spain, and the United States) before attaining statehood.” Legislators added a fourth blue star in 1923 to acknowledge Arkansas’ membership in the Confederacy from 1861 to 1865.

The state’s General Assembly reaffirmed the parameters of the flag in a 1987 act that Clinton signed. Among other provisions detailing the flag’s features, such as its colors and shapes, there was a line that read, “The blue star above the word ‘ARKANSAS’ is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.” The act met no significant opposition at the time. In the same legislative session, the assembly also settled on an official state song.

Arkansas observes a Confederate Flag Day, which is celebrated together with Arkansas Confederate History and Heritage Month and Confederate Memorial Day. Per state code, it is observed on the Saturday immediately preceding Easter Sunday. In annual gatherings outside the Arkansas Statehouse, participants can “attend and bring examples of the variety of flags used by Arkansas units and of the Confederate government and its army during the War,” according to the Log Cabin Democrat, an Arkansas newspaper.

Clinton did not publicly object to Confederate Flag Day during his time as governor. The holiday is still being observed: A photo posted to the website of the Sons of Confederate Veterans in Arkansas shows this year’s event.

Clinton’s affirmation of Arkansas’ history didn’t stop him from criticizing how other states honored the Confederacy, however. In 1992, Clinton called on the state of Georgia to remove a Confederate design from its state flag. Georgia lawmakers had added the Confederate symbol to Georgia’s flag in the 1950s amid a climate of intense and overt hostility to the idea of racial integration. (Georgia finally took the Confederate battle flag off its state flag in 2001.)

Clinton’s acceptance of his state’s roots also didn’t do much to endear him to South Carolina voters, at least judging by a 1992 campaign stop at the Southern 500 stock car race in Darlington, South Carolina, where numerous Confederate flags could be seen atop car antennas in the infield. While Clinton “worked his way up pit row shaking hands with smiling and friendly drivers,” a strikingly different scene took place in the stands, The New York Times reported:

And so, when the fact of Mr. Clinton’s presence became known in the minutes just before the start of the race, there came the clash. First the roaring chants from the stand: “We Want Bush! We Want Bush!” and “George Bush! George Bush!” over and over. Mr. Clinton, of course, ignored that, and continued on his way, mounting a platform on a flat-bed truck to open the race with the traditional line, “Gentlemen, start your engines.”
In the frame, he uttered that line with his customary ease. Outside the frame, no one heard it; the candidate was drowned out by a long, lusty chorus of boos.
A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

CORRECTION: Due to an editing error, a previous version of this article incorrectly defined the meaning of a star appearing on the Arkansas state flag. One of the flag’s four stars represents the 1803 Louisiana Purchase, and not the year Arkansas attained statehood.

    Bill Clinton Does ‘Jim Crow’
Democrats play the race card over voter ID laws.
    August 3, 2011
The last time Bill Clinton tried to play the race card, it blew up his wife’s primary campaign in South Carolina. Well, the Voice is back, this time portraying the nationwide movement to pass voter ID laws as the return of Jim Crow.
“There has never been in my lifetime, since we got rid of the poll tax and all the other Jim Crow burdens on voting, the determined effort to limit the franchise that we see today,” the former President warned a student group last month.
Mr. Clinton is talking about states like Kansas, Wisconsin, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and the notoriously Confederate state of Rhode Island that have instituted or tightened voter laws this year.
These states are trying to reduce the incidence of voter fraud, which if not epidemic is hardly unknown in America. The liberal group Acorn’s widespread voter-registration fraud in recent years drew national attention to the problem and criminal actions. The 2008 Minnesota Senatorial race, where a legal challenge over the validity of absentee ballots decided the outcome by 312 votes, was another warning sign. Kansas received 221 reports of voter fraud between 1997 and 2010, according to a recent op-ed by Secretary of State Kris Kobach.
Voter ID laws can’t fix every problem, but they are a start. As the Heritage Foundation’s Hans von Spakovsky points out, these laws prevent voters from impersonating someone else, make it harder for a person to vote at multiple locations and block illegal aliens from voting. Some states, like Kansas, are also reforming voting-registration laws and absentee-ballot rules to ensure up-to-date voter rolls.
Mr. Clinton claims Republicans are trying to “make the 2012 electorate look more like the 2010 electorate than the 2008 electorate,” presumably by reducing Democratic turnout. But Democratic voters have no harder time getting a driver’s license than do Republicans.
The federal courts have repeatedly upheld the constitutionality of voter ID laws. In 2008, John Paul Stevens—no conservative—wrote for a six-vote Supreme Court majority that voter ID laws don’t constitute an undue burden on citizens attempting to vote. States typically let voters cast a provisional ballot if they can’t prove citizenship on polling day, and they provide IDs for free if needed.
No wonder voters of every age, race and income consistently support these reforms. A Rasmussen poll in June showed 75% of likely voters favor voter ID laws, as did 63% of Democrats. In Rhode Island, where Democrats control both state legislative houses, a Democratic speaker co-sponsored the new voter ID law. “I think that party leaders have tried to make this a Republican versus Democrat issue,” state Rep. Jon Brien told the Pew Center on the States’s Stateline news service. “It’s not. It’s simply a good government issue.”
None of that is deterring Democrats from using voter ID to drum up racial fears. Democratic Party Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz used the “Jim Crow” line earlier this year, adding “photo I.D. laws, we think, are very similar to a poll tax.” Democratic Senators and House members have asked the Justice Department to take action. Look for this to be a consistent Democratic theme as the election approaches, amid party fears that declining real incomes will dampen enthusiasm about re-electing President Obama.
Perhaps these naysayers could take a page from one of the Rhode Island law’s supporters, Democratic state senator and co-sponsor Harold Metts, who told a local newspaper, “I’m all for party loyalty, but God gave me a brain and I use it.”

    BILL “BULL CONNOR” CLINTON
    By Frances Rice

Playing the race card is no longer working for the Democratic Party. That stunning pronouncement was made by Bernard Goldberg, author of “A Slobbering Love Affair”. This momentous turn of events highlighted by Goldberg was welcome news to us in the National Black Republican Association (NBRA) who launched our educational campaign six years ago aimed at stopping the Democrats’ race-baiting.

Into the spotlight stepped former President Bill Clinton, brazenly engaging in race mongering by declaring that the passage of voter ID laws by some states was a return to Jim Crow. Clinton told a group of students: “There has never been in my lifetime, since we got rid of the poll tax and all the other Jim Crow burdens on voting, the determined effort to limit the franchise that we see today.”

Clinton’s racism charge is particularly irksome since it is the Democrats who passed those Jim Crow laws as is explained in detail by Wayne Perryman in his book “Whites, Blacks and Racist Democrats” and Ann Coulter in her book “Demonic”.

It was gratifying to observe that Clinton’s incendiary charge was not echoed to any great extent in the liberal media as was done in the past. Instead, he was lambasted by the Wall Street Journal in an article entitled “Bill Clinton Does ‘Jim Crow’ ” That article can be found on the Internet by clicking here.

Even more grating is the fact that Bill Clinton, himself, engaged in unconscionable racism against black Americans while governor of Arkansas and president, benefiting from the poisonous racial climate engendered by his fellow Democrats. A particularly odious Democrat was Public Safety Commissioner Eugene “Bull” Connor in Birmingham who let loose vicious dogs and turned skin-burning fire hoses on black civil rights demonstrators during the 60s. Another racist Democrat was Alabama Governor George Wallace. Michael Barone described Wallace as “a man who really didn’t believe in anything—a political opportunist who used opposition to integration to try and get himself ahead.” This description aptly fits Bill Clinton, too.

Following in the footsteps of his mentor J. William Fulbright, a staunch segregationist, Clinton refused to enforce a court-ordered affirmative action plan while president and was himself sued for discriminating against his black employees while he was a governor. Clinton also had his Attorney General, Janet Reno, file a class action, reverse discrimination lawsuit on behalf of a group of white janitors at Illinois State University to stop the University from hiring blacks. None of Clinton’s inner-circle of advisors was black, and Clinton failed to take action to stop the massacre of over 800,000 Rwandans. Without congressional or UN approval, Clinton sent 20,000 troops to help the white Europeans in Bosnia, but refused to send troops to help the 800,000 blacks in Africa.

Clinton showed the extent of his disdain for black Americans when he praised former Ku Klux Klansman Senator Robert Byrd at his funeral and gave Byrd a pass for being a recruiter for the Klan. Never mind the Klan was responsible for killing (lynching) 3,000 Republicans—2,000 blacks and 1,000 whites.

His anti-black actions and attitude show he clearly deserves the moniker: Bill “Bull Connor” Clinton.

Bill Clinton 2008 on Obama: A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee
POSTED AT 5:08 PM ON JANUARY 9, 2010 BY ALLAHPUNDIT

Another hot excerpt from the same book that’s got Dingy Harry groveling. What a treat to hear how the Lords of Tolerance talk to each other behind closed doors.

This is turning into some day.

[A]s Hillary bungled Caroline, Bill’s handling of Ted was even worse. The day after Iowa, he phoned Kennedy and pressed for an endorsement, making the case for his wife. But Bill then went on, belittling Obama in a manner that deeply offended Kennedy. Recounting the conversation later to a friend, Teddy fumed that Clinton had said, A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.
As politically tempting as it is to demagogue this, and duly aware that the left would never give the benefit of the doubt to a conservative in an argument over racial subtext, I can’t believe Billy Jeff meant it “that way.” Comparing a guy running to become the first black president to some sort of servant is astoundingly tone-deaf, but that was par for the course for Clinton throughout that campaign. Remember when he idly compared The One to Jesse Jackson in the run-up to the South Carolina primary, at a moment when the media was paranoid that Hillary would try to “racialize” the campaign? All he meant by the coffee remark, I assume, was that The One was too young and green to be president, not far removed in age and experience from, say, a Senate aide. Which is also plenty insulting given how long Obama spent as a state senator, but certainly not racially untoward. The great mystery here is why Teddy was so offended by the remark. Did he perceive some racial subtext in it? Hard to believe he’d flip out simply because Clinton belittled Obama’s resume.

Ambinder’s got a new list up of juicy quotes from the book, including reports of our eventual secretary of state cheering on attempts to push the cokehead meme against Obama, so go check that out. A parting thought that scarcely needs articulating: Had a Republican said what BJ said, he’d be finished, finished, finished.

Update: A theory as to why Teddy might have been pissed at Clinton for denigrating Obama’s youth: JFK was even younger than The One when he became president, and Teddy and Caroline were both eyeing Obama as some sort of lost heir to Camelot. Not absurd to think he might have taken it personally somehow.

Comparing Wilson To Obama – The Cost Of Nobel’s
    .
Those comparing President Obama winning the Nobel to Wilson winning one as well, need to know that it is not in any way a compliment, if you know your history.
    .
As regards to WWI, Wilson was weak willed and late in getting into that war. While millions died, he dithered. If he had lent our support earlier, our troops would have faced a Germany that still had 2,000,000 men fighting in Russia. Faced with a smaller German Army, we might have ended the stalemate on the Western Front and marched on to Germany. Instead, his lack of will to do the right thing allowed the Russians to surrender and the Germans to move 2,000,000 soldiers to the western front, costing us hundreds of thousands of lives and ending the war in a stalemate with an Armistice agreement. It can also be strongly argued, that a more aggressive Wilson could have prevented a Russian communist revolution and a chaotic post war Germany, one in which soldiers who did not “lose” had to blame someone for their misfortunes.
    .
Wilsons weakness reared its head again the post war when he tried to set up the league of nations and to temper the armistice agreement with the Germans. His inability to create a powerful League and to limit Europe’s onerous treaty with the Germans, stoked the fires of WWII.
    .
Yes, Wilson won a Nobel, but his timid tendencies allowed Czarist Russia to fall, Communism to rise first and fostered enormous pain what would all too soon become the rise of Hitler’s Germany. The cost of Wilsons weakness is perhaps the deaths of 200,000,000 people, as well as billions enslaved in communism for over half a century.
    .
Here’s hoping Obamas is not Wilson redux and that his Nobel is not as costly.

    Clinton’s Racist Roots
    Rush Limbaugh

“Here in the United States, we were founded as a nation that practiced slavery, and slaves quite frequently were killed even though they were innocent,” said Mr. Clinton in a speech to nearly 1,000 students at Georgetown University’s ornate Gaston Hall.

“This country once looked the other way when a significant number of native Americans were dispossessed and killed to get their land or their mineral rights or because they were thought of as less than fully human.

“And we are still paying a price today,” said Mr. Clinton, who was invited to address the students by the university’s School of Foreign Service.
    -Washington Times

The really troubling thing about this Bill Clinton speech at Georgetown University is that I have no clue what his purpose is. You could say that he’s legacy building or shining the light of attention on himself or being provocative or what have you. But I think it really just proves the guy is a liberal. I think this really just indicates what he actually thinks of this country. To him, this country is full of faults – and everyone today is guilty for the sins of slavery and even the Crusades. He thinks that this country is the reason for much of the suffering and pain that people in the world experience today.

Now, I want to address something key about what Bill Clinton said during his speech, because he is not and has never been a great champion of civil rights. In fact – and this is something you never, ever hear about – the young Clinton studied at the knee of well-known segregationists. His political career in Arkansas demonstrates a complete lack of understanding and sensitivity about those people with whom he now claims to sympathize.

You want some hypocrisy? Let me give it to you. I’ve said it before, and it’s appropriate to say it now as well. Bill Clinton’s political mentors in Arkansas were segregationists! That means they didn’t want white people and black people living together. They were active members of the stay-in-the-back-of-the-bus crowd. J. William Fulbright, the late Arkansas senator, and the Arkansas governor Orville Faubus, were among them. Those were the men Clinton idolized. Those were his mentors. Fulbright even hired Bill Clinton at one point.

These were the men Clinton hung around, tried to learn from – and they were passionate, committed segregationists. Think about what this means: Had they lived during the time of the founding, Bill Clinton’s idols would have been enthusiastic slaveholders. Had they lived at the time of the Civil War, they would have fought and killed for the right to keep Africans enslaved. These are Bill Clinton’s idols! These are the guys that Bill Clinton is running around taking leadership ideas from. These are the men that Clinton reached out to in order to start his political career.

Slavery is a chapter in American history that never seems to get mentioned by those who question the very essence of this country and its righteousness. The framers who wrote and adopted our Constitution understood that they couldn’t resolve the slavery issue at the time. But they didn’t ignore the issue. In fact, they punished slave states by limiting their representation in the House of Representatives. That’s why slaves were counted as three-fifths a person for purposes of representation. That’s why we fought the bloodiest war in our nation’s history to end slavery about four score and seven years later.

It was not because the majority of the framers thought they were property. It was because they didn’t want southern states to have it both ways, claiming they could count their slaves as people when it meant getting a bigger voice in government, but not in their day-to-day lives. An amendment process was put in place to right wrongs like slavery which needed fixing. That amendment process was used after the civil war to address or correct issues that could not be revolved during the Constitutional Convention.

In fact, amendments were adopted after the Civil War that dealt directly with the issue of slavery. This, too, is part of our history, and to ignore it is to distort our founding and to distort our history. Provisions were put in place to deal with slavery! It wasn’t thought to be a great institution worthy of preservation. If it were, don’t you think they’d have written a guarantee of slavery into the Constitution? Do you think Thomas Jefferson wrote the words “all men are created equal” without knowing it’s full meaning?

Now, if we judge Clinton as he would have us judge the history of America, we would look at his career through his association with outspoken and powerful racists and look no further. Bill Clinton has a history of association, respect for, and mentorship with powerful racists and segregationists! Yet he stands up and gives that speech. It wouldn’t matter what he said or did as governor or president. All that would tell us about the measure of the man is that he embraced these segregationists rather than speak out against them.

But I am willing to look beyond that for a moment, and examine his presidency. And when I do that, I find a man who did nothing to improve race relations in this country. I find a guy who hailed those who promoted this notion of segregation. Clinton promoted discord between the races. This silly business about claiming he saw church burnings in his home state when it’s proved that no such attacks ever, ever occurred prove he’s trying to stir up racial hatred. He and his party used race to try to divide this country for crass political purposes.

So to come out and give this speech yesterday is the height of selfishness. This is a pathetic man screaming, “Don’t forget me! Don’t forget me! Don’t forget me.” We would love to find a way to.

“they will tell you I look funny, i don’t look like the guys on the money” Obama. If you are white you know exactly what he was saying and it was racist.
    .
Obama called out on national tv a white cop who arrested his buddy for disorderly conduct, as acting stupidly. Then he bullies him publicly into attending a beer conference w the professor, himself & joe biden (for balance?) for a full fledged media photo op to make obama look good & the guy basically can’t refuse to attend without looking like a racist. Shameful behavior for the occupant of the white house.
    .

“And so part of the reason that our politics seems so tough right now, and facts and science and argument does not seem to be winning the day all the time, is because we’re hard-wired not to always think clearly when we’re scared.” Obama at a boston fundraiser in 2010. I am actually not sure if he is bad mouthing republicans for not supporting him or if he is attacking his own Democrats for not supporting him or his candidates.
    .
President Obama told Univision in 2010 ,“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re going to reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder.” Dare I say that’s racist and partisan!
    .

WHO IS BARACK OBAMAS MENTOR “FRANK”? And Why is that Obama only recently admitted it was Frank Marshall Davis? Why did he only refer to him as Frank in his book?
    .
In Obamas books he speaks of his key mentor being a guy named only as Frank. Why didn’t he reveal Franks full name? Could it be that he didn’t want to admit to Frank Marshall Davis, documented Communist Party member being that same Frank?
    .
Davis also wrote a weekly column, called “Frank-ly Speaking”, for the Honolulu Record, a labor paper published by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) headed by Harry Bridges.[ Davis’ first column noted he was a member of the national executive board of the Civil Rights Congress, cited as a Communist subversive organization by President Harry S. Truman’s Attorney General Tom Clark.
He was also a member of the Democratic Revolution while he lived in Hawaii.
A 1950 FBI memo reports that members of the subversive element (Democratic Revolution in Honolulu were ?concentrating their efforts on infiltration of the Democratic party through control of Precinct Clubs and organizations. He said they were spending considerable time urging support for their candidates in these Precinct Club elections. In this regard, he noted on April 6, 1950, that subject [Davis] had been elected Assistant Secretary and Delegate to the Territorial Democratic Convention…attendance of Davis at the Territorial Democratic Convention was verified by [informant]. This convention took place on April 30 at Kalakana Intermediate School.”
    .
Robert M. Kempa, a Communist party informant who agreed to cooperate with government investigators, reported,
“Late in the fall of 1950, I started contacting Frank Marshall Davis in connection with Communist Party matters, and relaying to him information received from my superior contact in the Communist Party, either James Freeman or [redacted].
During a portion of 1950, 1951 and part of 1952, I continued contacting Frank Marshall Davis and also transmitted dues for the Communist Party received from him to my contact above. During the period of my contacts with Frank Marshall Davis, he advised me that his wife, Helen was a member of Group #10. …During a portion of 1951 [redacted] took over contacts with the Davis group but I resumed contacting Davis in 1952 and continued meeting him on Communist Party matters until I left the Party in June of that year.”
    .

In his memoir Dreams from My Father, Barack Obama wrote about “Frank”, a friend of his grandfather’s. “Frank” told Obama that he and Stanley (Obama’s maternal grandfather) both had grown up only 50 miles apart, near Wichita, although they did not meet until Hawaii. He described the way race relations were back then, including Jim Crow, and his view that there had been little progress since then. As Obama remembered, “It made me smile, thinking back on Frank and his old Black Power, dashiki self. In some ways he was as incurable as my mother, as certain in his faith, living in the same sixties time warp that Hawaii had created.”[20] Obama also remembered Frank later in life when he took a job in South Chicago as a community organizer and took some time one day to visit the areas where Frank had lived and wrote in his book, “I imagined Frank in a baggy suit and wide lapels, standing in front of the old Regal Theatre, waiting to see Duke or Ella emerge from a gig.”
Claims that Davis was a political influence on Obama were made by Jerome Corsi in his anti-Obama book The Obama Nation. A REBUTTAL RELEASED BY OBAMA’S PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN, ENTITLED Unfit for Publication, CONFIRMED THAT “Frank” was Frank Marshall Davis, BUT DISPUTES THOSE CLAIMS ABOUT THE NATURE OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP.

    Obama Gives Communists A Victory
    .
Fidel Castro lied to America, went Communist and allowed our deadliest enemy to put nuclear weapons on his soil, pointed at us. His regime murdered hundreds of thousands, exported Communist revolutions & terrorism throughout South & Central America, assisted the drug trade and imprisoned millions for objecting to their power.
    .
With Castro at deaths door, why allow him the taste of victory that easing of travel restrictions and actual negotiations will bring? What exactly do we get from aiding this isolated dictatorship?
    .
Kennedy had it right 50 years ago when he put the embargo in place. If our “allies” had kept it up after the USSR collapsed and ceased sending money to Cuba then Castro would be long gone. Why is Obama helping this communist thug and why now? Will he also lobby to prevent Castro and his cronies from facing war crimes trials?

Danny Glover is an extremist activist and an outspoken supporter of the Communist regime of the Castros in Cuba as well as the marxist Chavez regime in Venezuela.
    .
Glover has a well-publicized friendship with Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez. Chavez has reportedly approved $18,000,000 to finance Glover’s directorial debut
    .
Glover supports the cause of Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, one of the Cuban Five held in a US prison in Victorville, Calif.

    .
Glover was an outspoken critic of George W. Bush, calling him a known racist. “Yes, he’s racist. We all knew that” This was over the issue of Bush enforcing TX law via the death penalty and for that Glover calls him a racist.

When the toronto international film festival wanted to spotlight films from Tel Aviv, he wrote an open letter protesting the festivals decision titled The Toronto Declaration: No Celebration of Occupation. At the same time he has not complained about murders, missile launches or other assaults on Israeli civilians.
    .
He held a rally in St. Louis in June 2009 to ask for clemency for a man on death row, who no one believes is innocent, not even Glover. 4 men raped and murdered two young women in 1991 and then threw them off the bridge. Nice.

Danny Glover said that he was categorically opposed to capital punishment, even for Osama bin Laden.
    .
Danny has been on the wrong side of a number of issues, in addition to those above and even going so far as to befriend and assist ousted marxist loving brutal dictator Aristide.

    Noam Chomsky Supports Communism
    .
Communist leaning Venezuelan “dictator” Hugo Chavez promoted Noam Chomsky’s book at the UN a few years back. Those in the know are not surprised. Mr. CHomsky considers himself to be a Libertarian Socialist. WHats that you ask? Look it up on the web – “Libertarian socialism includes a group of political philosophies that aims to create a society without political, economic or social hierarchies – a society within which individuals freely co-operate together as equals. This would be achieved through the abolition of private property, thereby restoring direct control of the means of production and resources to the working class and other unpropertied classes.
    .
Noam is a Communist, but by another name. Noam is promoting Communist ideology. If you like your home, your rights, your private property, then don’t support this brand of lunacy. Communism and its Socialist bastard child killed more people in the last century than all wars combined. Take a pass on this brand of idiocy and don’t buy his book(s).

James Madison Spoke Out Against the Tyranny Of the Majority And Redistribtion In The Federalist No. 10
He spoke at length about the need for a Republic to fend off the tyranny of the majority, he spoke of the fundamental truth that people don’t all have equal outcomes and have differing success and we need to protect against their propensity to take from the few and give to themselves.
“ The latent causes of faction are thus sown in the nature of man; and we see
them everywhere brought into different degrees of activity, according to the
different circumstances of civil society. . . . But the most common and durable
source of factions has been the various and unequal distribution of property.
Those who hold and those who are without property have ever formed distinct
interests in society. Those who are creditors and those who are debtors fall
under a like discrimination. A landed interest, a manufacturing interest, a
mercantile interest, a moneyed interest, with many lesser interests, grow up of
necessity in civilized nations and divide them into different classes, actuated by
different sentiments and views. The regulation of these various and interfering
interests forms the principal task of modern legislation and involves the spirit
of party and faction in the necessary and ordinary operations of the
    government. . . .”
“From this view of the subject it may be concluded that a pure democracy,
by which I mean a society consisting of a small number of citizens who
assemble and administer the government in person, can admit of no cure for
the mischiefs of faction. A common passion or interest will, in almost every
case, be felt by a majority of the whole; a communication and concert result
from the form of government itself; and there is nothing to check the
inducements to sacrifice the weaker party or an obnoxious individual. . . .
A republic, by which I mean a government in which the scheme of
representation takes place, opens a different prospect and promises the cure for
which we are seeking. Let us examine the points in which it varies from pure
democracy, and we shall comprehend both the nature of the cure and the
efficacy which it must derive from the Union.”

Langston Hughes – Communist / Aetheist
Langston Hughes was investigated by the FBI for communist and for good reason:
In New Masses (published and controlled by the Communist Party), Hughes published verse and essays. In 1932, he sailed to the Soviet Union as part of a group who were to produce a film about American race relations(Gates & McKay 1253). He came back from the Soviet Union writing glowing reports of things going on there.
    “Goodbye, Christ,”

    — From “Good Morning Revolution”
    by Langston Hughes (1932)
    .
He wrote poems like “One More ‘S’ in the U. S. A.” to pay tribute to the Soviet Union and agitate for social change within the United States:
“Put one more S in the U.S.A.
    To make it Soviet.
One more S in the U.S.A.
Oh, we’ll live to see it yet.
When the land belongs to the farmers

The U.S.A. when we take control
Will be the U.S.S.A. then. …

Obamas 2008 Message of support to a Communist Party “front”
In March 2008, Barack Obama sent a message of support to the Communist Party USA controlled Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday organization.

April 1, 2008 Washington DC–Evelina Alarcon, Executive Director of Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday welcomed the backing for a Cesar Chavez national holiday from Presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama who issued a statement on Cesar Chavez’s birthday Monday, March 31, 2008. “We at Cesar E. Chavez National Holiday appreciate the backing of a national holiday for Cesar Chavez from presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama. That support is crucial because it takes the signature of a President to establish the holiday along with the Congress’s approval,” stated Evelina Alarcon. “It is also encouraging that Senator Hillary Clinton who is a great admirer of Cesar Chavez acknowledged him on his birthday. We hope that she too will soon state her support for a Cesar Chavez national holiday.”
Alarcon’s remarks were part of a statement made at a press conference at our nation’s Capitol on April 1st called by Chair of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus Rep. Joe Baca (D-CA) in support of HR 76, a resolution he authored with 62 Co-Sponsors that encourages the establishment of a Cesar Chavez national holiday by the Congress[11].
Barack Obama’s statement for a Cesar Chavez national holiday:
“Chavez left a legacy as an educator, environmentalist, and a civil rights leader. And his cause lives on. As farmworkers and laborers across America continue to struggle for fair treatment and fair wages, we find strength in what Cesar Chavez accomplished so many years ago. And we should honor him for what he’s taught us about making America a stronger, more just, and more prosperous nation. That’s why I support the call to make Cesar Chavez’s birthday a national holiday. It’s time to recognize the contributions of this American icon to the ongoing efforts to perfect our union.”
Senator Barack Obama March 31, 2008.

Valerie Jarret Is Obamas Closest Friend & Insider. Her Grandparents Were Communists Sympathizers.
Valerie’s mother’s parents were Robert Rochon Taylor and Dorothy Taylor. Robert was the first African American head of the Chicago Housing Authority, and the son of an esteemed early African American architect. Dorothy, born in Berkeley, California in 1905, was active in Planned Parenthood, undeterred by—or not knowledgeable of—Margaret Sanger’s championing of racial eugenics, Sanger’s 1926 speech to a KKK rally in New Jersey, or Sanger’s Negro Project.
. In 1983, Valerie married Dr. William Robert Jarrett. William Robert Jarrett’s father, Vernon Jarrett, was a leftist columnist very well known in Chicago media.
. In fact, in an irony rich with symbolism, Vernon in the late 1940s had served on the Citizens’ Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers with no less than Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party USA member who mentored a young Barack Obama in Hawaii. The committee met at 4859 South Wabash Avenue in Chicago. Vernon Jarrett was head of the group’s publicity committee. Frank Marshall Davis was one of the chairmen. Blogger Trevor Loudon found and posted an April 12, 1948, committee document featuring both Jarrett and Davis together on the front page. “The duty of this Committee,” proclaims the document, “is to give publicity to…the plight of the workers.”
. Frank Marshall Davis died in 1987. His recently released FBI file reveals, among other things, his CPUSA number, which was 47544.
. If those connections from the 1940s are not eye-opening enough, consider this one as well, involving Robert Taylor, Valerie’s maternal grandfather:
One of the most notorious Communist front groups ever was the American Peace Mobilization, created by the Soviet Comintern in concert with CPUSA, organized in the summer of 1940. Congress would rightly dub the American Peace Mobilization “one of the most seditious organizations which ever operated in the United States,” “one of the most notorious and blatantly Communist fronts ever organized in this country,” and an “instrument of the Communist Party line.”
. The group’s goal was to keep America from going to war against Hitler or even providing Lend-Lease to nations like Britain being savaged by Hitler. The group took this position because, at the time, Stalin’s USSR was allied with Hitler. It was the Soviet line, and the ringleaders of the group were pro-Soviet patriots.
. Among the antiwar rallies organized by the American Peace Mobilization was the 1st Illinois Conference of the National Negro Congress, held November 9–10, 1940, on the corner of 38th and Wabash streets in Chicago, held at the Wabash YMCA. Listed on the surviving letterhead for the event were several prominent American Communists, as well as endorsers like Frank Marshall Davis and, listed directly under Davis, Robert Taylor. Though no middle initial appears, this is almost certainly the same Robert R. Taylor who was Valerie Jarrett’s grandfather.
. Robert R. Taylor of Chicago also appears in the major 1944 congressional report “Investigation of Un-American Propaganda Activities in the United States,” done by the Special Committee on Un-American Activities, House of Representatives, 78th Congress. On pages 609 and 2,100 of the voluminous report is Robert R. Taylor of Chicago. Taylor was flagged because of his role in the “Arrangements Committee” that organized the July 1939 Chicago Conference on Race Relations, which included as leaders several top national Communist figures.

Same Old New Deal? (George Will – On The Failure Of The New Deal – part 1)
Early in what became the Great Depression, John Maynard Keynes was asked if anything similar had ever happened. “Yes,” he replied, “it was called the Dark Ages, and it lasted 400 years.” It did take 25 years, until November 1954, for the Dow to return to the peak it reached in September 1929. So caution is sensible concerning calls for a new New Deal.
The assumption is that the New Deal vanquished the Depression. Intelligent, informed people differ about why the Depression lasted so long. But people whose recipe for recovery today is another New Deal should remember that America’s biggest industrial collapse occurred in 1937, eight years after the 1929 stock market crash and nearly five years into the New Deal. In 1939, after a decade of frantic federal spending — President Herbert Hoover increased it more than 50 percent between 1929 and the inauguration of Franklin Roosevelt — unemployment was 17.2 percent.
“I say after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started,” lamented Henry Morgenthau, FDR’s Treasury secretary. Unemployment declined when America began selling materials to nations engaged in a war America would soon join.
In “The Forgotten Man: A New History of the Great Depression,” Amity Shlaes of the Council on Foreign Relations and Bloomberg News argues that government policies, beyond the Federal Reserve’s tight money, deepened and prolonged the Depression. The policies included encouraging strong unions and higher wages than lagging productivity justified, on the theory that workers’ spending would be stimulative. Instead, corporate profits — prerequisites for job-creating investments — were excessively drained into labor expenses that left many workers priced out of the market.
In a 2004 paper, Harold L. Cole of the University of California at Los Angeles and Lee E. Ohanian of UCLA and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis argued that the Depression would have ended in 1936, rather than in 1943, were it not for policies that magnified the power of labor and encouraged the cartelization of industries. These policies expressed the New Deal premise that the Depression was caused by excessive competition that first reduced prices and wages and then reduced employment and consumer demand. In a forthcoming paper, Ohanian argues that “much of the depth of the Depression” is explained by Hoover’s policy — a precursor of the New Deal mentality — of pressuring businesses to keep nominal wages fixed.

Same Old New Deal? (George Will – On The Failure Of The New Deal – part 2)
Furthermore, Hoover’s 1932 increase in the top income tax rate, from 25 percent to 63 percent, was unhelpful. And FDR’s hyperkinetic New Deal created uncertainties that paralyzed private-sector decision making. Which sounds familiar.
Bear Stearns? Broker a merger. Lehman Brothers? Death sentence. The $700 billion is for cleaning up toxic assets? Maybe not. Writes Russell Roberts of George Mason University:

“By acting without rhyme or reason, politicians have destroyed the rules of the game. There is no reason to invest, no reason to take risk, no reason to be prudent, no reason to look for buyers if your firm is failing. Everything is up in the air and as a result, the only prudent policy is to wait and see what the government will do next. The frenetic efforts of FDR had the same impact: Net investment was negative through much of the 1930s.”
Barack Obama says that the next stimulus should deliver a “jolt.” His adviser Austan Goolsbee says that it must be big enough to “startle the thing into submission.” Their theory is that the crisis is largely psychological, requiring shock treatment. But shocks from government have been plentiful.
Unfortunately, one thing government can do quickly and efficiently — distribute checks — could fail to stimulate because Americans might do with the money what they have been rightly criticized for not doing nearly enough: Save it. Because individual consumption is 70 percent of economic activity, St. Augustine’s prayer (“Give me chastity and continence, but not yet”) is echoed today: Make Americans thrifty but not now.
Obama’s “rescue plan for the middle class” includes a tax credit for businesses “for each new employee they hire” in America over the next two years. The assumption is that businesses will create jobs that would not have been created without the subsidy. If so, the subsidy will suffuse the economy with inefficiencies — labor costs not justified by value added.
Here we go again? A new New Deal would vindicate pessimists who say that history is not one damn thing after another, it is the same damn thing over and over.

    FDR’s Folly
    .
During our last major financial crisis, in the 1930’s, FDR pushed government driven solutions including massive spending, implementing economic protectionism, confiscating US Citizens rights to own gold by making gold the property of the treasury, created shovel ready projects to get people to work, raised taxes and added the social security income tax in 1937.
    .
In addition, FDR created the pyramid scheme we know as social security and then in 1938 the Fannie Mae program. Fannie & those who defended it from regulation, aided its semi privatization and changed banking laws to assist it, caused the current crisis. SSI, later expanded by his Party to include Medicare & Medicaid, now threatens to destroy Americas economic future.
    .
After nearly 2 terms in office the US Economy hit a new low during the 1938 depression within a depression. This was despite or because of what FDR did. Not until WWII increased demand and left America as pretty much the worlds main manufacturer did we come out of the Depression.
    .
Given that we are still suffering from the impact of FDR’s experimental programs implemented in the 1930’s, why on earth would we think that Obama’s government motors, buy America Stimulus measures, nationalized healthcare, massive tax increases, or other programs won’t haunt us half a century later. Perhaps Obama could first fix FDR’s messes before he creates his own.

Given that we are still suffering from the impact of FDR’s experimental programs implemented in the 1930’s, then why on earth would we think that Obama’s government motors, buy America Stimulus measures, nationalized healthcare, massive tax increases, or other programs won’t haunt us half a century later. Perhaps Obama could first fix FDR’s messes before he creates his own.

    FDR’s Stimulus Failure
After the stock market crash in 1929 (brought on by overvalued stock prices as well as real estate) the government reacted by raising taxes to balance the federal budget and raising protectionist tariffs to protect US jobs from foreign competitors. The end result of these twin actions was that the US economy shrunk by 2/3’s and the rest of the worlds economy suffered as well.
    .
When FDR then increased government spending to “create” or “save” jobs along with even greater tax increases than Hoover, aided Union creation, and implemented wage controls to prevent wages from falling, the economy got worse and hit bottom in 1938 with a double dip depression, five years into the FDR administration. It only began to pull out as Europe went to war in 1939.
    .
Since being elected, Obama has pushed an extremist spending agenda to “create” or “save” jobs that will push national debt up 50% in 4 years. He is calling for higher taxes to pay for it and our large national debt will devalue our dollar at the same time. Many leading democrats are also calling for buy American clauses in government spending as well as protectionist tariffs.
    .
If you forget history you are doomed to repeat it and apparently Obama and the Democrats do not recall their own history.
(History Lesson To FDR Failure Deniers….. ” Despite the Republican gains, the 1938 elections maintained a 72% Democratic majority in the Senate and a 60% Democratic majority in the House.Since the filibuster rule applies only in the Senate, Democrats maintained a filibuster-proof majority after the 1938 elections despite having lost 6 seats”.)

Putting Politics Ahead of National Security – FDR Style
    Michael Schaus
    11/26/2014 1:16:00 AM
And so the war began… America didn’t know it yet, but we were well on our way to entering World War II. On this day, in 1941, the Japanese First Air Fleet (an aircraft carrier strike) began its journey toward Pearl Harbor. Adm. Chuichi Nagumo’s orders were simple: If the United States and Japan reached a compromise in their ongoing negotiations, the fleet would return to Japan without conducting any offensive action. (Spoiler alert: We didn’t reach a negotiation with the Japanese. Go watch Tora! Tora! Tora!)

I know it seems unbelievable, but even in 1941 America was run by politicians who were more concerned with their re-election than the security of the nation. (Should I mention that Democrats were in charge?) A war-weary country had decided to “stay out” of the new world-wide turmoil… And then we imposed some economic sanctions on Japan for not behaving in our interests. Strangely, the Japanese didn’t really like this.

Franklin D. Roosevelt and Secretary of State Cordell Hull both expected some sort of Japanese attack in retaliation for their diplomatic harassment, but I guess they didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. (Don’t get me wrong… Japan needed to be sanctioned. But it would have been nice if FDR had just been a little more open with the American people about where this was going to lead.) Before you know it, the Americans got wind of a Japanese offensive, sanctions were strengthened, and Prime Minister Tojo decided to abandon diplomacy for a slightly more… “explosive” tactic. (Did you read that last bit with a Snidely Whiplash voice? Because that’s how I wrote it.)

The man chosen to lead the Imperial Air and Naval Forces of Japan into battle was a man who had no naval aviation experience. Nagumo, much like the American Democrat Party, was chosen primarily because he had been around for long enough to earn a little name recognition. The Naval Chief of Staff, Rear Adm. Isoruku Yamamoto, managed to convince the fleet that the best way to cripple the Americans into submission was to deal an unmatchable first blow to our naval powers.

FDR and Hull must have known that an attack was imminent. Heck, half of America was on edge waiting for the great World War II to suck America into a fight. And yet, the geniuses in DC couldn’t figure out what target the Japanese would choose. I guess a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific (where half our Pacific fleet rested with relaxed security measures) didn’t really “pop” in conversation at the Pentagon.

FDR’s War Department had even made it clear to other members of government that if war was truly inevitable, it would “prefer that Japan commit the first overt act.”

Less than two weeks later, FDR’s wish was granted. Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Sure, hindsight is a distinct advantage. But with an entire world embroiled in war, and a hostile Japanese Empire aligning itself with the enemies of American interest, you would think a little preemptive military action might have been considered. Heck, you would think an attempt to discourage an attack on our primary Pacific Naval base would have been a priority once it became obvious that sanctions were working about as well as FDR’s “New Deal”. (That means they weren’t working, by the way.)

But in the end, Americans managed to pull together and defend our freedom. Fighting on two fronts, we managed to achieve victory (despite Washington DC micromanagement, bureaucratic impediments, and political tinkering with military decisions). As it turns out, a little political incompetence (ahem*Roosevelt*ahem) was no match for the organic spirit of the American experiment.

And so, on this day in 1941, Japan began the long march to defeat.

FDR’S BIGGEST MISTAKE DURING THE DEPRESSION
FDR didn’t know what to do about the Great Depression he inherited from Herbert Hoover, so he tried everything. He hiked taxes, spent more money, established monopolies, enforced cartels, filed antitrust lawsuits, promoted compulsory unionism, multiplied business regulations, denounced investors, and started welfare programs, public works projects, a big entitlement, on and on.
One theme runs through such misguided policies: the failure to focus single-mindedly on the recovery of the private sector that pays all the bills, including tax bills. FDR was very much a creature of the “progressive” era, when many intellectuals embraced the view that experts could make a better world if only they had enough power. Some of FDR’s New Dealers were impressed by Mussolini’s fascist corporate state model, others liked Stalin’s centralized economic planning in the Soviet Union, and still others just seemed to believe that any problem could be fixed by issuing more laws and regulations. With very few exceptions, New Deal discussions weren’t about helping the private sector recover. Discussions were about making government bigger.
The influential newspaper columnist Walter Lippmann observed that New Deal reformers would “rather not have recovery if the revival of private initiative means a resumption of private control in the management of corporate business.”
Whatever gave “progressive” intellectuals the idea that government could run an economy? History is littered with government failures.
During the 19th century, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia built canals with taxpayers’ money. Almost all were losers. State governments lost money in railroads. Economic historian Clifford Thies noted that “turnpikes were also money-losers.” Economic historians Ernest L. Bogart and Donald L. Kemmerer observed that “Most of the enterprises were extravagantly, if not corruptly, managed.”
Desperate to pay their debts, states raised taxes and unloaded assets as fast as they could. Altogether, nine state governments — a third of all states — that had spent large sums on all sorts of business ventures defaulted on their debts during the 1840s. Many state constitutions were amended to make sure such disasters didn’t happen again.
A couple decades later, Washington politicians tried their hand at business by subsidizing construction of the transcontinental railroad. In 1872, this exploded into the biggest American financial scandal of the 19th century. Principals of Crédit Mobilier pocketed millions of dollars of subsidies, bribed congressmen, and brought on the collapse of the Union Pacific Railroad.
During the late 19th century, a number of western states tried to increase their populations and political clout by attracting people willing to farm in the desert — the most costly kind of farming imaginable. States issued bonds to finance dams and reservoirs for irrigation. Result: lots of corruption and waste.
President Theodore Roosevelt thought past experience didn’t apply to him. He taxed people in eastern states, where rainfall made possible efficient farming, to subsidize those who wanted to become farmers in western deserts. In 1902, TR signed the Reclamation Act that established a federal dam-building monopoly, the Bureau of Reclamation. Historian Marc Reisner called it “an unparalleled experiment in federal intervention in the economy.” There were few settlers but much corruption. Reisner added, “Every Senator wanted a project in his state, every Congressman wanted one in his district. Politicians didn’t care whether they made economic sense or not.”
World War I gave most Americans their first opportunity to see what a government-run economy would be like. The feds seized control of industries, fixed prices, and ran everything through big bureaucracies. As historians Samuel Eliot Morrison, Henry Steele Commager, and William E. Leuctenburg reported, “Baby carriages were standardized; traveling salesmen were limited to two trunks; and the length of uppers on shoes was cut down. It was such a regimentation of the economy as had never before been known, and it later served as a model for the New Deal.”
So, FDR didn’t need to know much about economics to realize that big government was no way to go. He would have done better to remove obstacles — starting with Hoover’s obstacles — that interfered with the ability of the private sector to recover and prosper.

    Is Your Politician A Socialist?
    .
Some politicians and activists mistake Socialist policy for economic policy. Governmental decisions based on socialist principles are geared toward populist voter approval, big hearted & soft headed ideas that are not financially sustainable or grounded in economic principle. Economics on the other hand are grounded on theories proven in the marketplace as well as past real world cause and effect of governmental or other such marketplace decisions.
    .
Corporations and people will change their spending and saving habits based on governmental action, economists understand that but socialist politicians do not.
    .
The next time your politician wants to do something just because its right, ask yourself what the impact on the economy, the marketplace, your job, your taxes and your kids taxes will be. If the action / goal of your politician is fuzzy & nice but the cost far outweighs your perceived benefits or the cost is put off for future generations to pay for, then your politician is probably a socialist.

    Socialisms “Benefits”?
    .
FDR brought us the Social Security System that is basically a pyramid scheme that only worked if we continued to exponentially boom our population or raise the retirement age to that equal to the life expectancy. This wonderful system is about to kill us economically and we have socialist principles to thank for it.
    .
FDR brought us the socialist program of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to provide loans for homes to those who were not eligible in the free market. LBJ then privatized these entities in 1968 and Democrats in general fought regulation at every turn. It is this very program that has come near to sinking the entire world into the next Depression and for this we have Socialism to thank.
    .
Barack Obama wants to bring more on more socialist government programs and an us versus them share the wealth tax punishment system to America. Forgive me if I cringe at what decades long time bombs the Obama Socialist agenda will lay for my grandkids, children and I.

Washington — Hillary Rodham Clinton’s recent comment about trickledown economics has launched a war of spin.
First, here’s what the likely 2016 presidential candidate said at a campaign event last Friday for Martha Coakley, the Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial candidate:
“Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs,” former Secretary of State Clinton said in Boston. “You know that old theory, trickledown economics. That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly. One of the things my husband says when people say, ‘What did you bring to Washington?’ He says, ‘I brought arithmetic.’ ”
That first sentence is similar to a gaffe President Obama made in his 2012 reelection campaign, when he said: “If you’ve got a business – you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” His GOP opponent, Mitt Romney, pounded him mercilessly over that one (though Mr. Romney still lost).
“It’s Hillary Clinton’s ‘You Didn’t Build That Moment’ – and it’s a safe bet that the quote will come back to haunt her,” writes Benjamin Austin at FreePatriot.org.
Regardless of how one interprets Clinton’s comment, there’s little doubt the former first lady’s opponents will use it against her in the presidential campaign, if she runs.
It’s not Clinton’s first gaffe of the unofficial 2016 race. This past June, when she released her latest book, “Hard Choices,” she said she and her husband, the ex-president, came out of the White House in 2001 “dead broke.” For a couple that could instantly command multimillion-dollar book deals and six-figure speaking gigs, the comment seemed strangely off. PolitiFact. com rated it “mostly false.”
As before, liberal watchdog groups are jumping in to defend her, calling for a look at the context.
“The full transcript of her remarks shows she was making the established observation that minimum wage increases can boost a sluggish economy by generating demand, and that tax breaks for the rich don’t necessarily move companies to create jobs,” writes the group Media Matters.
Conservative and liberal economists have long been at war over the effectiveness of trickledown (or supply-side) economics – the idea that cutting taxes and regulations frees up capital and allows businesses to grow – including hiring more workers.
The 2016 race is upon us. Everything Clinton says in public will be parsed within an inch of its life — and already is. Politicians often plead, “Out of context,” when caught saying something off-key. But in the sound-bite reality of political life, Clinton may find it easier just to make sure everything she says, sentence by sentence, sounds good on its own.
(Smokedsalmoned says, Read the story and see the clip and the text, despite the “context” she said it and she meant it. If her argument were sound then why not just raise minimum wage to 100 a hour)

    “Bread” & Socialism
    – With frightening rhetoric and fear mongering, geared toward pushing for rushed passage of stimulus packages, bank bailouts and talk of universal health care, Obama is pandering to the masses and offering money (checks) and socialism.
    – In an apparently calculated effort to accomplish his socialist agenda, in the shadow of an economic downturn, he may succeed in burdening and transforming the American economy to an extent that would make F.D.R. blush. The fact that his programs will rival the confiscatory and irresponsible S.S.I, Medicare, Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac programs that his predecessor and his fellows achieved seems to not even phase the masses.
    – In its waning days of power and purpose the Roman emperor could offer only bread and circuses to his masses. The leaders of the time cowed to One leader and ruined a mighty albeit evil empire. My friends, Obama and the Democrats are offering you Bread & Socialism with a side order of the end of American greatness.

Elena Kagan – Radical, Socialist! – (Appointed By Obama)
. Did Americans want an ardent advocate of Socialism and Radicalism at the heart of our nations highest court?
. As an undergraduate at Princeton, Kagan wrote a senior thesis titled “To the Final Conflict: Socialism in New York City, 1900-1933.” In the “Acknowledgments” section of her work, she specifically thanked her brother Marc, “whose involvement in radical causes led me to explore the history of American radicalism in the hope of clarifying my own political ideas.” Within her thesis she wrote:
. “In our own times, a coherent socialist movement is nowhere to be found in the United States. Americans are more likely to speak of a golden past than of a golden future, of capitalism’s glories than of socialism’s greatness. Conformity overrides dissent; the desire to conserve has overwhelmed the urge to alter. Such a state of affairs cries out for explanation. Why, in a society by no means perfect, has a radical party never attained the status of a major political force? Why, in particular, did the socialist movement never become an alternative to the nation’s established parties?…
. “Through its own internal feuding, then, the SP [Socialist Party] exhausted itself forever and further reduced labor radicalism in New York to the position of marginality and insignificance from which it has never recovered. The story is a sad but also a chastening one for those who, more than half a century after socialism’s decline, still wish to change America……”
. Her words speak for themselves and she has never publicly retracted this thesis. Why on earth would Obama nominate her for Supreme Court unless he agreed with her? If you don’t think these sorts of appointments scare the crap out of financial markets or don’t influence investment decisions you are living in a fantasy land.

Obama Is FDR Redux – Hint That’s Not A Good Thing

    Obama’s Third-Party History
Barack Obama campaigns for the Illinois state senate in the mid-1990s. (©Marc PoKempner, 1995)
by Stanley Kurtz June 7, 2012 4:00 AM
New documents shed new light on his ties to a leftist party in the 1990s.
On the evening of January 11, 1996, while Mitt Romney was in the final years of his run as the head of Bain Capital, Barack Obama formally joined the New Party, which was deeply hostile to the mainstream of the Democratic party and even to American capitalism. In 2008, candidate Obama deceived the American public about his potentially damaging tie to this third party. The issue remains as fresh as today’s headlines, as Romney argues that Obama is trying to move the United States toward European-style social democracy, which was precisely the New Party’s goal.
In late October 2008, when I wrote here at National Review Online that Obama had been a member of the New Party, his campaign sharply denied it, calling my claim a “crackpot smear.” Fight the Smears, an official Obama-campaign website, staunchly maintained that “Barack has been a member of only one political party, the Democratic Party.” I rebutted this, but the debate was never taken up by the mainstream press.
Recently obtained evidence from the updated records of Illinois ACORN at the Wisconsin Historical Society now definitively establishes that Obama was a member of the New Party. He also signed a “contract” promising to publicly support and associate himself with the New Party while in office.
Minutes of the meeting on January 11, 1996, of the New Party’s Chicago chapter read as follows:
Barack Obama, candidate for State Senate in the 13th Legislative District, gave a statement to the membership and answered questions. He signed the New Party “Candidate Contract” and requested an endorsement from the New Party. He also joined the New Party.
Consistent with this, a roster of the Chicago chapter of the New Party from early 1997 lists Obama as a member, with January 11, 1996, indicated as the date he joined.
Knowing that Obama disguised his New Party membership helps make sense of his questionable handling of the 2008 controversy over his ties to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now). During his third debate with John McCain, Obama said that the “only” involvement he’d had with ACORN was to represent the group in a lawsuit seeking to compel Illinois to implement the National Voter Registration Act, or motor-voter law. The records of Illinois ACORN and its associated union clearly contradict that assertion, as I show in my political biography of the president, Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism.
Why did Obama deny his ties to ACORN? The group was notorious in 2008 for thug tactics, fraudulent voter registrations, and its role in popularizing risky subprime lending. Admitting that he had helped to fund ACORN’s voter-registration efforts and train some of their organizers would doubtless have been an embarrassment but not likely a crippling blow to his campaign. So why not simply confess the tie and make light of it? The problem for Obama was ACORN’s political arm, the New Party.
The revelation in 2008 that Obama had joined an ACORN-controlled, leftist third party could have been damaging indeed, and coming clean about his broader work with ACORN might easily have exposed these New Party ties. Because the work of ACORN and the New Party often intersected with Obama’s other alliances, honesty about his ties to either could have laid bare the entire network of his leftist political partnerships.
Although Obama is ultimately responsible for deceiving the American people in 2008 about his political background, he got help from his old associates. Each of the two former political allies who helped him to deny his New Party membership during campaign ’08 was in a position to know better.
The Fight the Smears website quoted Carol Harwell, who managed Obama’s 1996 campaign for the Illinois senate: “Barack did not solicit or seek the New Party endorsement for state senator in 1995.” Drawing on her testimony, Fight the Smears conceded that the New Party did support Obama in 1996 but denied that Obama had ever joined, adding that “he was the only candidate on the ballot in his race and never solicited the endorsement.”
We’ve seen that this is false. Obama formally requested New Party endorsement, signed the candidate contract, and joined the party. Is it conceivable that Obama’s own campaign manager could have been unaware of this? The notion is implausible. And the documents make Harwell’s assertion more remarkable still.
The New Party had a front group called Progressive Chicago, whose job was to identify candidates that the New Party and its sympathizers might support. Nearly four years before Obama was endorsed by the New Party, both he and Harwell joined Progressive Chicago and began signing public letters that regularly reported on the group’s meetings. By prominently taking part in Progressive Chicago activities, Obama was effectively soliciting New Party support for his future political career (as was Harwell, on Obama’s behalf). So Harwell’s testimony is doubly false.
When the New Party controversy broke out, just about the only mainstream journalist to cover it was Politico’s Ben Smith, whose evident purpose was to dismiss it out of hand. He contacted Obama’s official spokesman Ben LaBolt, who claimed that his candidate “was never a member” of the New Party. And New Party co-founder and leader Joel Rogers told Smith, “We didn’t really have members.” But a line in the New Party’s official newsletter explicitly identified Obama as a party member. Rogers dismissed that as mere reference to “the fact that the party had endorsed him.”
This is nonsense. I exposed the falsity of Rogers’s absurd claim, and Smith’s credulity in accepting it, in 2008 (here and here). And in Radical-in-Chief I took on Rogers’s continuing attempts to justify it. The recently uncovered New Party records reveal how dramatically far from the truth Rogers’s statement has been all along.
In a memo dated January 29, 1996, Rogers, writing as head of the New Party Interim Executive Council, addressed “standing concerns regarding existing chapter development and activity, the need for visibility as well as new members.” So less than three weeks after Obama joined the New Party, Rogers was fretting about the need for new members. How, then, could Rogers assert in 2008 that his party “didn’t really have members”? Internal documents show that the entire leadership of the New Party, both nationally and in Chicago, was practically obsessed with signing up new members, from its founding moments until it dissolved in the late 1990s.
In 2008, after I called Rogers out on his ridiculous claim that his party had no members, he explained to Ben Smith that “we did have regular supporters whom many called ‘members,’ but it just meant contributing regularly, not getting voting rights or other formal power in NP governance.” This is also flatly contradicted by the newly uncovered records.
At just about the time Obama joined the New Party, the Chicago chapter was embroiled in a bitter internal dispute. A party-membership list is attached to a memo in which the leaders of one faction consider a scheme to disqualify potential voting members from a competing faction, on the grounds that those voters had not renewed their memberships. The factional leaders worried that their opponents would legitimately object to this tactic, since a mailing that called for members to renew hadn’t been properly sent out. At any rate, the memo clearly demonstrates that, contrary to Rogers’s explanation, membership in the New Party entailed the right to vote on matters of party governance. In fact, Obama’s own New Party endorsement, being controversial, was thrown open to a members’ vote on the day he joined the party.
Were Harwell and Rogers deliberately lying in order to protect Obama and deceive the public? Readers can decide for themselves. Yet it is clear that Obama, through his official spokesman, Ben LaBolt, and the Fight the Smears website, was bent on deceiving the American public about a matter whose truth he well knew.
The documents reveal that the New Party’s central aim was to move the United States steadily closer to European social democracy, a goal that Mitt Romney has also attributed to Obama. New Party leaders disdained mainstream Democrats, considering them tools of business, and promised instead to create a partnership between elected officials and local community organizations, with the goal of socializing the American economy to an unprecedented degree.
The party’s official “statement of principles,” which candidates seeking endorsement from the Chicago chapter were asked to support, called for a “peaceful revolution” and included redistributive proposals substantially to the left of the Democratic party.
To get a sense of the ideology at play, consider that the meeting at which Obama joined the party opened with the announcement of a forthcoming event featuring the prominent socialist activist Frances Fox Piven. The Chicago New Party sponsored a luncheon with Michael Moore that same year.
I have more to say on the New Party’s ideology and program, Obama’s ties to the party, and the relevance of all this to the president’s campaign for reelection. See the forthcoming issue of National Review.
In the meantime, let us see whether a press that let candidate Obama off the hook in 2008 — and that in 2012 is obsessed with the president’s youthful love letters — will now refuse to report that President Obama once joined a leftist third party, and that he hid that truth from the American people in order to win the presidency.

‘The Lady’s not for turning’ – Margaret Thatcher On Socialism And Deficit Spending.
Margaret Thatcher, dead Monday at the age of 87, was Britain’s greatest post-war prime minister, and one of the great leaders of the world. She pulled her nation back from socialism, had the courage to stand on her convictions, and placed principle ahead of popularity. These excerpts from a 1980 speech to the Conservative Party help explain why she earned the nickname “The Iron Lady” and are particularly applicable to America today.
If spending money like water was the answer to our country’s problems, we would have no problems now. If ever a nation has spent, spent, spent and spent again, ours has. Today that dream is over. All of that money has got us nowhere, but it still has to come from somewhere. Those who urge us to relax the squeeze, to spend yet more money indiscriminately in the belief that it will help the unemployed and the small businessman, are not being kind or compassionate or caring. They are not the friends of the unemployed or the small business. They are asking us to do again the very thing that caused the problems in the first place. We have made this point repeatedly.
I am accused of lecturing or preaching about this. I suppose it is a critic’s way of saying, “Well, we know it is true, but we have to carp at something.” I do not care about that. But I do care about the future of free enterprise, the jobs and exports it provides and the independence it brings to our people. Independence? Yes, but let us be clear what we mean by that. Independence does not mean contracting out of all relationships with others.
A nation can be free but it will not stay free for long if it has no friends and no alliances. Above all, it will not stay free if it cannot pay its own way in the world. By the same token, an individual needs to be part of a community and to feel that he is part of it. There is more to this than the chance to earn a living for himself and his family, essential though that is.
Of course, our vision and our aims go far beyond the complex arguments of economics, but unless we get the economy right we shall deny our people the opportunity to share that vision and to see beyond the narrow horizons of economic necessity. Without a healthy economy we cannot have a healthy society. Without a healthy society the economy will not stay healthy for long.
But it is not the state that creates a healthy society. When the state grows too powerful, people feel that they count for less and less. The state drains society, not only of its wealth but of initiative, of energy, the will to improve and innovate as well as to preserve what is best. Our aim is to let people feel that they count for more and more. If we cannot trust the deepest instincts of our people, we should not be in politics at all. Some aspects of our present society really do offend those instincts. …
If our people feel that they are part of a great nation and they are prepared to will the means to keep it great, a great nation we shall be, and shall remain. …
To those waiting with bated breath for that favorite media catchphrase, the “U” turn, I have only one thing to say.
“You turn if you want to. The lady’s not for turning.”

Liberalism, Socialism & Fascism – A Brief Ugly History.
    – American liberals are descendants of the early Progressives, who do share deep intellectual roots with fascists. Both fascists and liberals seek to use the State to solve the problems of our modern society. Fascist party programs contained active social welfare policies which were implemented through a corporate State much as liberals and socialists aim to.
    – The totalitarian urge, the philosophy of state control of decisions taking priority over individual freedoms, is the chief unifying driver behind these movements. The living heritage of such Statism is found today in what has come to be known as the “liberal” politics of the modern progressive movement.
    – In the US , fascism via liberal policy thankfully took a different form than totalitarianism. Nevertheless, whether it is the suffocating embrace of an “It Takes a Village” nanny state or, to a lesser extent , the big-government, “compassionate conservatism” of the modern politician, fascism in the U.S. is well-intentioned, “smiley face” fascism, with the overriding command to look first to the State and lastly to the individual.
    – A rose by any other name is the liberal agenda as well as the potential fascist State. Hitler at first built a progressive welfare state, so be forewarned and carefully guard against the wiles of liberal doctrine.

WSJ’s Moore: Obama’s Key Supporters Worse Off Under his Presidency
The demographic groups that provided President Barack Obama with his 2012 election victory have fared worse economically than others during his presidency, according to The Wall Street Journals’ Stephen Moore.
“According to a new report on median household incomes by Sentier Research, in 2012 millions of American voters apparently cast ballots contrary to their economic self-interest,” the editor wrote Wednesday.
Sentier found that real median household income for Americans dropped 4.4 percent during the four years beginning in June 2009, when the economic recovery started.
“Those who were most likely to vote for Barack Obama in 2012 were members of demographic groups most likely to have suffered the steepest income declines,” Moore observed, noting that the president’s re-election victory stemmed largely from his support among young voters, single women, voters with a high-school diploma or less, blacks, and Hispanics.

Black Teen Unemployment Rate around 43%
According to the Sentier Research report, households headed by single women experienced an income drop of about 7 percent, while the decline was 9.6 percent for those younger than 25, 10.9 percent for black heads of households, 4.5 percent for Hispanic heads of households, and 8 percent for workers with a high-school diploma or less.
“This is a stunning reversal of the progress for these groups during the expansions of the 1980s and 1990s, and even through the start of the 2008 recession,” Moore said, referring to Census reports showing that from 1981 to 2008 the biggest income gains came for black women, followed by white women, black men, and white men.
“Mr. Obama has often contemptuously, and wrongly, branded the quarter-century period of prosperity beginning with the presidency of Ronald Reagan as a ‘trickle down’ era,” Moore continued.
“For many in the groups that Mr. Obama set out to help, a return to the prosperity of that era would be a vast improvement.”
Moore also noted that Census income figures included cash government benefits, such as unemployment insurance, disability payments, and the earned-income tax credit. The costs for most of these cash programs have jumped during Obama’s presidency, he wrote, but incomes have still decreased for the lowest-income eligible groups.
    .
“This suggests that wages and salaries from employment have shrunk at an even faster pace than the Census data show,” Moore said.
“What all of this means is that the stimulus-led economic revival that began officially in June 2009 . . . has only resulted in lower incomes for at least half of Americans, the very ones who were instrumental in electing Mr. Obama twice.”

Socialist Roots To Mortgage Crisis….Which Caused The Financial Crisis of 08
. The American Dream of home ownership ran into the well intentioned but misguided fanaticism of socialist support t through governmental policies which twisted the dream to intend to provide it for all at unsustainable low cost. This was done despite the fact that not everyone is responsible enough to own and maintain a home. The banking system, as a long germ gatekeeper of home ownership, figured that out long ago. Not satisfied with the workings of the free market Congress created entities such as Fannie Mae &Freddie Mac to increase the percent of home ownership and even some States followed suit with smaller entities of a similar purpose.
. After 5 decades these socialist economic policies distorted the housing market in this country and brought about a collapse. This well meaning effort to aid anyone who wanted to buy a home ended up in an actual 100% loan approval policy that spelled our doom by artificially pumped money into the housing market for decades.
. Note that Congress privatized the program in 69 and encouraged the free market to support this two headed beast, along with State privatized entities of a similar purpose. Through privatization of Fannie & Freddie and Clintons repeal of Glass Steagall in 1999, they entangled the private market (AIG, Merryl Lynch, Banks etc.) in the mess as well. In the end, those who were encouraged to aid and abet that program are now suffering the consequences of the housing bust.
. Socialism is the root of all evil in the current mortgage / credit crisis. We need to hold accountable those who sold the socialist economic policies responsible and vote them out of office. There is no free lunch and shame on any of us who knowingly voted for the fools who promised things that were too good to be true.

    National Socialism Is Growing
. We should rename the Democratic Party and call it the The National Socialist Party. Its agenda includes all of the root governmental welfare programs and desires the State Controls of the economy that will be needed to push that same old agenda of that long ago political party.
. Not that its guaranteed long term to go down that other path but it does owe its platform to them.

Upon this battle depends the survival of Western-Christian civilization
    By Jake Jacobs
My last article was on the 2012 Olympics and “Socialists sentiments” that were on display in London during the opening ceremonies. One of my all time favorite musicians Paul McCartney not only sang Hey Jude during the opening celebration but sang a bit from a song called The End from the famous Abbey Road album released 43 years ago this month. Beatles history and nostalgia has me thinking of the relationship between Western Culture and the influence of anti-Western culture as manifested and perpetuated by the various utopic socialistic, progressive and multicultural voices of years gone by and today.
I believe the 1966 Beatles song Taxman expresses the rude awakening one can have when the reality of socialistic machinations are manifested into society in the form of progressive-punitive taxation and Marxian redistribution of wealth as cleverly achieved by England’s Fabian socialists via Harold Wilson and the British Labour Party and by American Fabians and progressives via Barack Obama and the Democratic Party. Beatle George Harrison tells us that the song “Taxman was when I first realized that even though we had started earning money, we were actually giving most of it away in taxes. It was and still is typical.” The confiscation of hard working citizens creativity and productivity via inordinate taxation by Big Government Bureaucrats is the typical mode of operation of Socialists worldwide from London to Beijing and from Paris to Washington D.C.
In London, England in 1848 Karl Marx wrote his pernicious treatise The Communist Manifesto where he called for The State to coercively redistribute wealth from the so-called evil and greedy bourgeoisie capitalists to the so called oppressed, righteous and needy proletariat. Unfortunately for Marx and his militant minions his ideas were not working well with Western Culture’s main lynchpins and defenders: Great Britain and the United States of America.
Soon after Marx’s death in 1883 Marxist intellectuals created a clever and sly strategy that was designed to fool English Conservative-Christians into believing that their brand of socialism was not only harmless and innocuous but THE answer to all of England’s socials woes. It has taken a few generations but the symbols of the Fabians, a wolf in sheep’s clothing and a slow but steady turtle is in no hurry to destroy Great Britain’s and America’s Western-Christian culture and civilization. Slowly but surely stealth Fabian cultural Marxism has bit by bit and piece by piece infiltrated English and American culture, society, politics, media and education on all levels with political correctness, social engineering, the restructuring of the family, the normalization of abnormal and deviant sinful behavior and a crib to crypt culture that turns people away from God and directs them to the State for ultimate security.
Winston Churchill who in 1945 was replaced as Prime Minister of the UK by the Fabian Socialist Clement Atlee stirred the people of Great Britain and the world to action in 1940 versus the ugly philosophy of the National Socialists, which he called “a new Dark Age made more sinister…by the lights of a perverted science.” A few years later Churchill would call Soviet Socialism “an Iron Curtain of oppression and totalitarianism.”
In like manner Fabian and Obama Socialism is a perverted science and an iron curtain of oppression that is a stealth, so called “scientific socialism” that is a conglomeration of Keynesian economics, cultural Marxism, Harvard critical theory, Marcuse relativism, Gramscian hegemony and Alinsky tactics that are all hell bent to destroy Western civilization’s heavenly values and liberties. Very cleverly they are not overtly militant and openly Marxist for to do so would take the camouflaged wool off their wolf’s lair and reveal the nefarious nature of their anti-Christian worldview. The Fabians, progressives and socialists of various strips have been patient, steady, and long-suffering in their march through the institutions of Western Culture and Civilization. The socialists know their season is nigh, they know their time has come as the Christian Civilization of England and America is dying and has gone the way of Empires of yester year. Soon the Fabian socialists shall kick in the door of the United Kingdom and the United States accomplishing through culture what Hitler could never do through his Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht, that is: the capitulation of England and America’s Christian Civilization.
The English will probably never again sing the inspiring 1939 World War Two song “There Always be an England.” No, there will not always be a Christian England as we knew her, she is dying at the hands of cultural Marxism, Fabian and English apathy and indifference to it’s plight. Winston Churchill in his wonderfully inspiring 1940 speech for the Battle of Britain declared:
“Upon this battle depends the survival of Christian civilization. Upon it depends our own British life, and the long continuity of our institutions and our Empire. The whole fury and might of the enemy must very soon be turned on us. Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, ‘This was their finest hour.'”
Unless the English and Americans wake up and brace themselves to their duties, their finest hour shall never be again. The British and American way of life and the long continuity of their Western-Christian institutions shall be no more and they will succumb to a new dark age of socialism and total government control. Where there is no Christianity there is no liberty and where there is no Western-Christian civilization there is no sacredness of life and marriage as given to us by our Creator.
The flag of Great Britain is the Union Jack; it comprises 3 Christian Crosses that represent the sacrifice given for the redemption of mankind by Christ and his followers. No such martyrs exist today in England! Where are the Alfred The Great’s? Where are the William Wilberforce’s? Where are the Winston Churchill’s to awaken the soul of Britain that declares, “We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering.” Where are the voices declaring “we have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweet” against those who would destroy our Freedoms?
In similar fashion to the 1936 Summer Olympics of Germany the World is distracted and entertained by the 2012 Summer Olympics of England. We rightfully enjoy and are enthused by the wonder of Olympic athletic competition and achievement while all along wishing the world was at peace with goodwill towards all. As in 1936 there are sinister forces crawling the earth desiring to devour our children and destroy the life and liberty we hold so dear. Too many in the Western world today cannot be bothered when Governments act as God, steal our money, confiscate our property, take our guns, spend what they do not have, stimulate through artificial fabrication and bogus borrowing while destroying free enterprise through central control, collective planning and bureaucratic balderdash that stifles the entrepreneurial spirit and eliminates millions of creative citizens economic opportunities.
This isn’t just an English or European problem. This is an international problem whose tentacles have crepe into American soil, American institutions, American politics, and American values and they are destroying the very heart and soul of our Republic under God. Where are the Patrick Henry’s who passionately proclaim for Liberty or Death? Where are the Sam and John Adams who declare we are Sons of Liberty over tyranny? Where are the Nathan Hale’s who cry out “I regret I have only but one life to give for my country?”
This Battle, this War is in some ways more difficult to detect than during World War II and the Cold War. In those Wars you could readily see, hear, smell, taste, and touch the Socialistic enemy of Germany and Russia. Today the enemy is within. They are within our schools, within our churches, within our media, within our movies, within our State and Federal Capitols and within the White House and in far too many homes in America.
The United States like Great Britain is dying and we must find the courage to stand up to this nefarious enemy and proclaim: “You will NOT succeed on our watch, you will NOT be victorious! Not while we still have breath-to-breath, minds to think and tongues to declare “give us Liberty or give us Death!”

How government is killing American entrepreneurship
It’s time to embrace startup capitalism and abandon crony capitalism

The problem goes far beyond the Great Recession.
America is plagued by mediocre primary schools, subpar infrastructure, and dysfunctional government. But somehow, this country manages to get at least one big, important thing right: innovation.
That’s the deep magic of the world’s leading economy. But some disturbing trends suggest the nation’s competitive edge may vanish if government doesn’t embrace startup capitalism rather than crony capitalism.
A new Brookings study finds bad news, both short- and long-term, for U.S. entrepreneurship, a critical driver of innovation. From 2009 through 2011, the deaths of existing businesses outnumbered the births of new ones. Of course, at least some of that trend can be pinned on the Great Recession and Not-So-Great Recovery. So if that was the only worrying stat, perhaps we could dismiss it. But the report’s authors also calculate new business formation overall — measured as the share of all businesses less than one year old — has declined by roughly half since 1978.
The Brookings findings, unfortunately, sync with an equally gloomy report from the Kauffman Foundation. Researchers there identified a steep decline over the past decade in the number of tech firms age five and younger — the fast-growing “gazelle” firms that generate a large share of America’s innovation and net new job creation. The Kauffman analysis concludes the problem “goes far beyond the more recent effects of the Great Recession.” Indeed, GDP and job growth were weak even before the catastrophic downturn.
This is all worrisome for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that it undermines America’s vision of itself. National mythology is populated by heroic risk-takers, from Thomas Edison to Henry Ford to Bill Gates to the Google guys.
Of course, not all startups are equally important to U.S. economic vigor. Opening a hair salon may be a smart way for someone without a college degree to climb the ladder. A one-person accounting firm may be a great way to make a living. But neither enterprise has anything close to the economic effects of starting Apple. But fewer startups overall inevitably means fewer new companies that might generate the Next Big Thing and then turn into hugely profitable firms with thousands of well-paid employees.
Just as important, fewer startups means fewer disruptive new competitors to force big business to innovate or die. An economy without sufficient “creative destruction” risks stagnation and decline. That’s especially the case when population and labor force growth are slowing, making it harder to grow as fast in the future as in the past. Slower growth means a slower rise in living standards. And if celebrated French economist Thomas Piketty is correct, slower growth also means dramatically more wealth inequality.
Economists are not sure what the problem is. But here is one theory: Government has a big, fat thumb on the scale for incumbent players and their lobbyists — and it’s pressing down ever harder. A complex tax and regulatory code are much easier for a big business to handle than a small one. An overly strict patent and copyright regime benefits existing players, not new ones. A “too big to fail” financial system nudges banks to take complex lending risks — the kind that might sink the economy — rather than allocating capital to startups. And burdensome occupational licensing requirements are often more about limiting new entrants than ensuring public safety. Do cosmetologists really need nearly 400 days of training?
Going forward, America will need to be more innovative than ever to keep economic growth rapid. The U.S. economy will need more competitive intensity and dynamism. But that won’t happen if big government and big business keep teaming up to prevent the next generation of dynamic competitors from ever existing.

Obama’s Reverend. On Black White Relations
    – Here are the quotes attributed to Barack Obama’s friend and personal mentor, Reverend Wright on race relations in the United States.
——“The government gives them the drugs, builds bigger prisons, passes a three-strike law and then wants us to sing ‘God Bless America.’ No, no, no, God damn America, that’s in the Bible for killing innocent people. God damn America for treating our citizens as less than human. God damn America for as long as she acts like she is God and she is supreme.” (2003)
—– “Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run!…We [in the U.S.] believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God.” (sermon)
—– “Barack knows what it means living in a country and a culture that is controlled by rich white people. Hillary would never know that. Hillary ain’t never been called a n__ger. Hillary has never had a people defined as a non-person.”
—–“Hillary is married to Bill, and Bill has been good to us. No he ain’t! Bill did us, just like he did Monica Lewinsky. “
-Lets just say that a mind molded by this mentor would not be the one I want bringing CHANGE to Washington. Vote no to racism and vote not to Obama each and every day.

Call Out Michelle Obama On Wright & Wrong
    .
Barack Obama claims to have not heard Rev. Wright say hurtful thing during his 20 year attendance at the mans church. Well, if he was sleeping through the loud sermons, what the heck was his wife doing. Surely she, an attorney by trade, should have been paying attention!
    .
She should have warned her husband to greatly distance himself from this hateful individual. That is unless of course she agrees with Mr. Wrights statements. Given her comments on her lack of pride in the US until recently, her attendance at this particular church and her comments on 60 minutes that allege someone (presumably a white person) could shoot her husband at the gas station on any given day, gets me to wondering as to her agreement with Rev. Wrights sermons.

Rev Wrights Tripoli Visit With Farrakhan
Reverend Wright has been quoted as saying “When Obama?s enemies find out that in 1984 I went to Tripoli to visit Muammar al-Gaddafi with [Louis] Farrakhan, a lot of his Jewish support will dry up quicker than a snowball in hell.”
    .
Here’s hoping that those Jewish supporters of Obama have finally seen the light, given the outspoken behavior of Osama’s friend and Mentor as well as Mr. Osama’s mealy mouthed denouncement of Wrights comments but not the man. What he says in public, one can only assume Obama holds in his heart.

    Reverend Wrights Muslim Past
    – Considering that Reverend Wright is a former Muslim, one has to grow ever more concerned with Barack Obamas choice of friends and mentors.
(As per Ryan Lizza in a March 2007 The New Republic article “After many lectures like this, Obama decided to take a second look at Wright’s church. Older pastors warned him that Trinity was for “Buppies”–black urban professionals–and didn’t have enough street cred. But Wright was a former Muslim and black nationalist who had studied at Howard and Chicago, and Trinity’s guiding principles – what th e church calls the “Black Value System”–included a “Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness.’”)

The Oprah & Reverend Wright Connection
    – Oprah used to go to Reverend Wrights church but stopped attending in 1994 so you gotta ask yourself, what made her stop attending? If for good reason, why didn’t she warn Obama?
    – Keep in mind that in 1984 Reverend Wright met with Libyan leader Quadaffi on a trip with Louis Farrakhan so just what was he saying in church for the years up to 1994 when Oprah left? What did Oprah know about Reverend Wright and when? Why did she support Obama for president if his friend and mentor was such an unsavory character?

On the eve of the first 2012 presidential debate, the conservative website The Daily Caller Tuesday circulated previously unreported clips of a five-year-old speech in which then-Senator Barack Obama praised his controversial former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and suggested the federal government discriminated against the victims of Hurricane Katrina. (Ironic here in November 2012?)
“I’ve got to give a special shout-out to my pastor. The guy who puts up with me. Counsels me. Listens to my wife complain about me. He’s a friend. And a great leader,” the president said of Wright in an address to the Hampton University Annual Ministers’ Conference in Hampton, Va., in June 2007 in video posted by The Daily Caller and first aired on Fox News.
ABC News ran that clip in a March 2008 piece on “World News Tonight with Charles Gibson.” At the time, prepared remarks of Obama’s speech were released by the campaign and a local newspaper posted a nine-minute edited video of the address. What ABC News and many others, including The Daily Caller founder Tucker Carlson, covered at the time was based on that edited video and the prepared remarks.
As ABC News reported at the time, Obama implied the Bush administration had ignored what he called “quiet riots” in the United States – serious instances of poverty and hopelessness that had gone unaddressed by the federal government.
But the full version of the speech, posted on The Daily Caller website this evening, shows Obama taking that argument a step further, suggesting the federal government overlooked the needs of residents of New Orleans suffering in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, as opposed to victims of other disasters in other parts of the country.
“Down in New Orleans, where they still have not rebuilt 20 months later,” Obama says, “there’s a law, federal law – when you get reconstruction money from the federal government – called the Stafford Act. And basically it says, when you get federal money, you’ve got to give a 10 percent match. The local government’s got to come up with 10 percent. Every 10 dollars the federal government comes up with, local government’s got to give a dollar.
“Now here’s the thing, when 9/11 happened in New York City, they waived the Stafford Act – said, ‘This is too serious a problem. We can’t expect New York City to rebuild on its own. Forget that dollar you got to put in. Well, here’s 10 dollars.’ And that was the right thing to do. When Hurricane Andrew struck in Florida, people said, ‘Look at this devastation. We don’t expect you to come up with y’own money, here. Here’s the money to rebuild. We’re not going to wait for you to scratch it together – because you’re part of the American family.’ … What’s happening down in New Orleans? Where’s your dollar? Where’s your Stafford Act money? Makes no sense. Tells me that somehow, the people down in New Orleans they don’t care about as much.”

Read Obamas Books, Know The Man, Know The Inspirations (Political & Economic), Get Worried.
    .
If you bought Obamas books you have supported his meteoric rise to power. You have helped a law school graduate, community organizer, short term State and US senator rise to the presidency, with all the questions as to track record and inexperience that get raised from such speedy rises. If you read his book you know what his aims and goals are. If you read his book you know his thoughts on race, economics and you also know that what he promised on the campaign trail differed from what he said in his books.
    .
Sadly, in my own tiny sampling of folks who bought the books, most have not read them cover to cover. Here are some quotes from his books that should pique your curiosity:.
    .
–Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance:.
“I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.”
“There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.”
“It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names .”
“I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, Dubois and Mandela.”
    .
Those of us who looked at his books, listened to his speeches and checked his political track record and personal experience did not vote for him. Read his books from cover to cover and determine for yourself is his beliefs are your own. Consider his hero’s, apropriately a civil rights activist (King) but beyond that you have: a radical anarchist ex drug dealer ex pimp ex con (Malcom), a marxist who renounced his citizenship (Dubois) and a Communist revolutionary (Mandella). Best case scenario, it will reinforce your vote for him, worst case you will think twice about voting for those who share his agenda at the next election.

“There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.” From Dreams From My Father: A Story of Race And Inheritance – by Barack Obama

    William Ayers Bombing History
. William Ayers, for those who don’t know him was a member of the Weather Underground. These are the bombings his association was tied to.
    .
February 21, 1970, bombs were exploded three gasoline-filled fire bombs at the home of New York State Supreme Court Justice Murtagh. The same night, bombs were thrown at a police car in Manhattan and two military recruiting stations in Brooklyn. March 6, 1970 a bomb under construction blew up in the groups home, killing three members. October 6, 1970 They blew up the 1886 Haymarket Riot statue in Chicago. Bombed the Unites States Capitol on March 1, 1971. Bombed the The Pentagon on May 19, 1972. They bombed the United States Department Of State January 29, 1975.
    .
William Ayers is unrepentant and has written and spoken about wishing he had done more during those years as an active member of the Weather Underground.
    .
Knowing all this, would you want to be on the same board, have a political fundraiser thrown for you in his home, let him appoint you to another board of directors, shake his hand or even give him the time of day?
    .
In a new afterword to his memoir, released after the election, 1960s radical William Ayers, who admits to bombing and planning to bomb government targets in the 70’s, writes that the campaign controversy over their relationship was an effort by Obama’s political enemies to “deepen a dishonest narrative” about the candidate. “We had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign,” he writes. Obama had been denying most of these statements for months and now we know it to be a lie.
    .
As an internationally known figure, controversially pardoned by President Carter, Obama knowingly entered into a long term friendship with an unrepentant terrorist. Obama still refuses to publicly distance himself from Ayers or to admonish Ayers murderous, insurrectionist past. After the Militia arrests the week of 3/29/10, the media should start asking him why not.

Obama & 115 S. Sangamon St. – Obama Lied About Domestic Terrorist Bill Ayres – Shared same office building for 3 year.
    .

115 S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607. That is the address, per his tax returns that Bill Ayres used on for his Small Schools Workshop from 1995 to 2001. Meanwhile the address for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, where Obama worked, was
    115 S. Sangamon Street, Chicago, Illinois 60607 for 95-98.
    .
While Obama has claimed that he was someone who lived in the neighborhood and an acquaintance at best here we have them sharing the same office building for 3 years while they were on similar boards of directors.
    .
The source of this info is, verumserum com and US Tax returns.
Why isn’t the media all over this? Shouldn’t they have vetted this before they appoint him President?
Why has Obama lied about how well he knew Ayres, the Terrorist?

    Obama & Ayres Duped Kennedy’s
    – In 1973, at the age of 29, Ayers co-authored the book Prairie Fire with other members of the Weather Underground which they dedicated to close to 200 people ‘All Who Continue to Fight’, and ‘All Political Prisoners in the U.S.’. The list includes Sirhan Sirhan, convicted assassin of Robert F. Kennedy!
    – I wonder if Ted Kennedy, in his dotage, understood the relationship this man had to Barack Obama when he threw his full political support behind him. At the time, Obama was publicly stating he had no real relationship to Ayeres, despite evidence available to the public, such as tax records showing they had offices in the same building during a three year period where they served on boards together, held a fund raiser at Ayres house. Then again perhaps Ted’s brain cancer prevented rational thought and Obama and Ayeres knowingly or unknowingly took advantage of his sickness and dotage.
    – In November 2008, after the Presidential Election, in a new afterword to his memoir, 1960s radical William Ayers, who admits to bombing and planning to bomb government targets in the 70’s, writes that the campaign controversy over his relationship with Obama was an effort by Obama’s political enemies to “deepen a dishonest narrative” about the candidate. “We had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign,” he writes.

    Ayers Obama Controversy Renewed?
    .
In 1969, Bill Ayers participated in planting a bomb at a statue dedicated to police casualties in the 1886 Haymarket Riot. The blast broke almost 100 windows and blew pieces of the statue onto the nearby Kennedy Expressway.
    .
The following year he “went underground” with several associates after the Greenwich Village townhouse explosion, which caused the death of three of his terrorist cell members while a nail bomb was under construction. In Ayers’ words, decades after the fact, the bomb was “destined for the army base nearby,” Fort Dix in New Jersey. The massive bomb contained a box of carpenter nails, and though Ayers does not say it or admit it, it almost surely was intended to kill many people. The same Weather Underground bombed the Pentagon, the Capitol Building and The Us Department Of State.
    .
Barack Obama and his lackeys have continued to deny the extent or existence of a relationship with Bill Ayres, throughout and after the campaign. We now know that was a lie.
    .
Now the truth is out about the lie Obama told. In a new afterword to his memoir, 1960s radical William Ayers, who admits to bombing and planning to bomb government targets in the 70’s, writes that the campaign controversy over their relationship was an effort by Obama’s political enemies to “deepen a dishonest narrative” about the candidate. “We had served together on the board of a foundation, knew one another as neighbors and family friends, held an initial fund-raiser at my house, where I’d made a small donation to his earliest political campaign,” he writes.
    .
We told you so in 08. No need to apologize for being wrong once, but you shouldn’t have voted for Obama again in 2012 knowing this.

I do not believe who you say you are. That makes you a fraud in my opinion.

  • AndRebecca

Well, you’ll still have to wait. While you are at it though, you can avail yourself of all the material out there on the subject. Happy reading.

  • Mark Davis

    – Abraham Lincoln

  • AndRebecca

You seem to be confused. There’s a lot of that going around in Leftist circles. I do actually research some things. I rely on others to research the Obama family, though. You might do the same.

  • The burden of proof is always upon those making claims. YOU claimed they are communists. Integrity demands that you substantiate or retract your claim.

“If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don’t have integrity, nothing else matters.” – Alan Simpson

  • AndRebecca

Obama is a communist. I heard his speech last night and it was a communist speech. If it walks like a duck…

  • You are confused. Communism requires the ELIMINATION of private property and private enterprise. That’s the difference between communism and socialism.
Even Bernie Sanders, a “Democratic Socialist,” does not qualify as a communist. Do you have any evidence that Obama advocates the elimination of private property or private enterprise?

Evidently, you are unaware of the characteristics of a “duck”!
