A rule of thumb for understanding Vladimir Putin’s propaganda regarding the Ukraine is to assume the truth is usually the opposite of what he says. Hence, the Nazis and anti-Semites in the conflict are not, as Putin says, part of the revolutionary, anti-communist forces in Ukraine, but rather in the Putin camp. In this case, National Review has run a very revealing article, “The Eurasianist Threat,” by Robert Zubrin, on an influential Russian thinker and Putin adviser by the name of Aleksandr Dugin.

Blogger Anton Shekhovtsov has published an article that includes a photograph of Dugin and former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. He reports, “The newly acquired independence of the democratic Ukrainian state is now under attack from the most imperialistic and war-mongering circles in Russia who are backing pro-Russian ultranationalists in the Crimea and are forming Russian terrorist troops for subversive operations in Ukraine. One of these circles is the neo-Eurasianist movement headed by Russian fascist Aleksandr Dugin, who is openly calling for killing Ukrainians and annexing parts of the Ukrainian state to Russia to build a fascist Eurasian Union.”

The David Duke connection with Dugin came to light after I wrote my article, “Putin’s Big Lie Against Ukraine,” noting that Duke had traveled to Russia and had written a book, The Secret Behind Communism, claiming that Jews brought Soviet communism to Russia.

Zubrin’s National Review article documents Dugin’s history of controversial associations, including “mystic neo-Nazi groups,” monarchist and ultra-right-wing circles, the neo-Stalinist Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and the Eurasianist National Bolshevik Party.

Dugin is described by his supporters as a scholar who is shaping Russian geopolitical strategy. His book, The Fourth Political Theory, is said to be guiding the course of the world’s political future, as directed from the Kremlin.

A description of his book and an author’s bio states that “he currently serves on the staff of Moscow State University, and is the intellectual leader of the Eurasia Movement. For more than a decade, he has also been an advisor to Vladimir Putin and others in the Kremlin on geopolitical matters, being a vocal advocate of a return of Russian power to the global stage, to act as a counterweight to American domination.”

So when we read that Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel has concluded that Putin is not “in touch with reality” or “in another world,” it is important that we understand what this means.

The Wilson Center report, “Aleksandr Dugin: A Russian Version of the European Radical Right?,” by Marlene Laruelle, is helpful in this regard, and documents Dugin’s ties to Putin.

Back in 2009, Dugin was quoted as calling for war “to crush the Nabucco pipeline project as a means of stopping attempts to decrease European dependency on Russian energy resources.” The Nabucco pipeline project, sponsored by the European Union (EU), was to have transported gas from the Caspian Sea to Europe in order to bypass Russia.

The article went on: “Dugin is strictly in favor of Russian expansionism and nationalism and is closely affiliated with the Kremlin and Russian military intelligence. He is a strong proponent of the restoration of the Russian Empire through a partitioning of the former Soviet republics and unification with Russian-speaking territories.”

One of those “former Soviet republics” is Ukraine. “We have to topple Nabucco and partition Ukraine,” Dugin said. “Ukraine has to be divided into two vassal states. We have to always be a step ahead of our rivals.”

It turns out that David Duke did run a story about his meeting with Dugin back in 2005, describing him as “one of the leading intellectuals of Russia’s patriotic movement.”

An article about Duke’s visit to Russia said, “David Duke has seen that a proud and free Russian people are a key to the survival of European mankind. He is as important to this new revolution for freedom and heritage here today as John Reed was for Bolshevik enslavement 87 years earlier.” The latter is part of the current propaganda that Soviet communism was somehow “imposed” on Russia by international bankers, code language for Jews.

In his column, “Pro-Russian network behind the anti-Ukrainian defamation campaign,” Anton Shekhovtsov dissects the phony claims from Moscow about the “far-right” supposedly being behind the Ukrainian protests. He also documents the number of Americans and others appearing on the Kremlin-funded Russia Today (RT) channel.

RT is in the news after anchor Liz Wahl resigned from the channel, saying she “cannot be part of a network funded by the Russian government that whitewashes the actions of Putin” in Ukraine.

AIM has been exposing the propaganda operations of RT for almost four years. Perhaps now there will be some awareness of what the channel has been up to and how many Americans, from the right and left, have been serving as dupes of Moscow in the U.S.  Broadcaster Jerry Kenney filed a complaint in 2011 with the U.S. Department of Justice alleging that both RT and the Al-Jazeera propaganda channel were violating the law by not disclosing in their propaganda broadcasts that they are agents of foreign powers. No action was taken on this complaint.

Unfortunately, some Tea Party groups are getting disinformation about what is happening in Ukraine and what is at stake for the world.

Dr. Rick Scarborough, head of Vision America Action and Tea Party Unity, held a teleconference on Thursday featuring Doug Bandow, Senior Fellow of the Cato Institute, on “Why Crimea isn’t worth World War III: when multiple wrongs mean America should stay out.” The Cato Institute favored Permanent Normal Trade Relations for Moscow, as demanded by President Obama and various business interests. “There’s nothing at stake” in the Ukraine for the U.S., Bandow said. He called Ukraine a “fake country” and defended Russian influence over the independent nation.

Meanwhile, at a National Press Club news conference in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, Ukrainian EuroMaidan protest leader Ruslana Lyzhychko made a passionate plea for help for her nation, and sanctions on Putin for his naked aggression. She also discussed how a protest leader was abducted and tortured by pro-Moscow thugs, in order to force a “confession” about alleged U.S. involvement in the protests to be featured in Putin’s propaganda. “Millions of people take part in protests all across the country. Ukraine and America surely does not have enough money to pay them all,” she said.

She added, “We all must unite now in order to stop this monster.”

Concerning the global stakes, Zubrin writes in National Review, “Without Ukraine, Dugin’s fascist Eurasian Union project is impossible, and sooner or later Russia itself will have to join the West and become free, leaving only a few despised and doomed islands of tyranny around the globe. But with Ukraine underfoot, the Eurasianists’ program can and will proceed, and a new Iron Curtain will fall into place imprisoning a large fraction of humanity in the grip of a monstrous totalitarian power that will become the arsenal of evil around the world for decades to come.”

Your new pals, Cliff. But hey they claim they’re part of a worldwide ‘anti-Communist’ movement to save Europe from Moscow’s clutches, so it’s all good, right?

Trouble is, this guy claimed the same thing:

  • boysenberry

………….Duke had traveled to Russia and had written a book, The Secret Behind Communism, claiming that Jews brought Soviet communism to Russia.
Well that one is true. Karl Marx, (the founder of communism) Lenin, Engels were all Jews.

To accuse Ukraine’s new government of “Nazism” is like accusing Tea Party of “racism”.

Although never substantiated, it is so frequently repeated, audience ends up believing it…

  • M T

Seriously? Whatever Putin is paying your kind for this sort of reposting of weak propaganda collages, he is overpaying…

American Propaganda should be exposed as well. Making study out of American Nazis and anti-Semitic behavior in their own socialist programs you must take note of –
    1. The reason they begin attacking these individuals as children with homosexuals harassment squads is to create a stigmatic that a monsterious force is stalking them and to embed the idea that the homosexuals are socially better than the Jews in our government.
    2. The reason they continue to shout the same religious scripture at these people is to denote that the religious differences between the two groups as being the bases for the political attack and the social demise of such said individual. It is also being used to publically denote the process of eugenics being used to generate the socialist attacks.
    3. As a brief summary we should also denote the community attacks based on Jewish eschatology where their constantly wanting their subject to leave and move every where they go based on their religious and racial socialist attacks which are more of a program of forced emigration and a forced deportation process.
On April 3, 2006, the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights announced its finding that incidents of antisemitism are a “serious problem” on college campuses throughout the United States.
From 1979 to 1989 the ADL recorded more than 9,617 antisemitic incidents, including 6,400 cases of vandalism, bombings and attempted bombings, arsons and attempted arsons, and cemetery desecrations.
Are bloodline concerns still prominent today and does it explain why people with very low Jewish bloodlines come under attack in America as well.
In 1924, Congress passed the Johnson-Reed Act

  • There are actual skinheads in the government. See Svoboda. They make up 4/20 positions in the cabinet, including Vice Prime Minister, Interior Minister, and Defense Minister. This is not insignificant.

Just as in the Arab Spring, there were/are moderate and Western voices in the Ukraine. I know Ukrainians, and they are pro-West. But it’s not usually these people who are the most experienced at organizing… it’s the radicals.

We should be very wary. Normally the CIA would have an important role to play, but they do seem to be hopelessly compromised by the Ikhwan.

The fact is, Russia, America and its E.U. cohorts are all mafia gangs writ large. The leaders comprising these gangs are sociopaths. With few exceptions, most governments have been ruled by sociopathic elite and always will be, barring some global awakening of the masses to this psycho-social reality.

It matters not what time period, geographic location, ethnicity or religion one focuses on, sociopaths always rise to the top of the food chain because they are willing to do ANYTHING to get ahead and, unlike the average Joe on the street, crave power and riches and will stop at nothing to attain their goals. The difference between the present and 100 years ago and beyond is that the sociopathic power elite now have WMD’s at their disposal.

As well, there are always enough traitors (knowing or unknowing) who work as enforcers, toy soldiers and propagandists for the power elite, regardless of place or time period. The minions of the power elite may be a small minority compared with the rest of the population, but there always seems to be enough of them.

America could’ve been a great nation, a nation that could’ve truly set an example for the rest of the world in terms of freedom and prosperity. Unfortunately, the royal families of Europe and Britain captured this country by stealth in 1913 with the help of their Wall St. banker cronies via the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank. They have been solidifying their position of power ever since. Of course, German and British royalty have been tied at the hip since the late 17th century.

It matters not if the present power elite live to see the fruition of their desired one-world tyrannical government (a dream of despots for millennia), so long as their progeny can continue to rape and pillage us. This is truly a trans-generational conspiracy. This conspiracy is not Jewish, Jesuit or Martian, it is simply a conspiracy of truly evil people. How many elites have been accused of pedophilia and running child sex trafficking rings? Whatever happened to that Pentagon child porn scandal from just a few years ago? The power elite ALWAYS get off scot free (although a few low-level cronies might do some time to make the system look legit).

People need to turn off the TV and start digging below the surface of what the msm tells them. The rabbit hole runs very deep, but it really doesn’t take all that much digging to come to the realization that we are ruled by monsters and that we are in deep shit. We do have the numbers, and that is what scares the power elite. That is why they spend so much time, energy and money propagandizing us.

Why don’t you go hang out with your buddy Hal Turner. Oh wait, he turned out to be an FBI informant. LMAO.

  • bariola

They were not Bible-believing Jews, they were atheists. At any rate, if all one does is focus on the Jews, one will find evil Jews and Jewish conspiracies. If all one does is focus on Catholics or Jesuits, one will find evil Jesuits and Catholics. PEOPLE are corruptible.

One of the oldest tricks in the book is divide and conquer. As long as the elite can get us fighting with each other regarding religion, ethnicity, left or right, etc., they will continue to ream us.

  • bariola

Anti-Semitism has been a problem for 1500 years, as the Catholic Church condemned ALL Jews for the killing of Christ. Of course, ethnic and religious differences and conflicts are a part of the human experience, going back to pre-history. We are basically tribalistic, big-brained chimps. As such, we are easily manipulated and are easy pickings for the divide and conquer strategy of the elites.

  • bariola

Interesting. Yours is the only Disquis account that cannot be clicked on to see what else you have written. You wouldn’t be one of Cass Sunstein’s cognitive infiltrators, would you? Divide and conquer.

  • Richard Hellstrom

True – But when their using your money to bolster their nanner diet – and making claims to being a democracy – the UN has a specific duty to expose the American realities of it’s racial bigotry and direct political policies of dictating the social order.

  • bariola

I don’t think the U.N. is any better than the U.S. In fact, we are tied to the hip.

  • Richard Hellstrom

Theirs a lot of truth to it or America wouldn’t be allowed to conduct it self like a communist institution with out being down graded – it’s all about the money –

  • bariola

Money and power. Perhaps it’s a simplistic way of looking at the world, but I tend to filter my view of the geo-political reality by the two maxims, “Follow the money” and “Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

It doesn’t have to be this way. I was just practicing a classical/ragtime piece that I wrote on guitar as a teenager in the 70’s. It’s incredibly difficult (at least for my stubby little fingers), but after 35 years I actually came up with alternate fingerings over the past hour that make it possible now. Let me tell you, I feel really good about it and pleased with myself. It’s better than sex (well, at least as good).

I don’t have to conquer nations and control other people’s lives to get a woody. Why must there always be a few sociopaths gunking up the works, regardless of time period or geographic location? It doesn’t make sense to me.
