Accuracy in Media

With the far-left Huffington Post proclaiming openly gay Shepard Smith as “the future” of Fox News, many conservatives are looking elsewhere for news and information. Almost on cue, it has been announced that a new digital conservative TV channel called CRTV is launching this December that will be featuring Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin and Mark Steyn. There is also talk of “Trump TV.”

Since the forced departure of Roger Ailes, reports Ryan Grim of The Huffington Post, Rupert Murdoch’s two sons, James and Lachlan, “have taken a bigger role inside the network.” In a reference to host Sean Hannity, a hard-core Trump supporter, Grim says they intend to jettison “some of the knuckle-dragging, opinion-heavy approach to politics,” and give more leeway to Shepard Smith, Chris Wallace, Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly.

It has been rumored for years that James Murdoch, the liberal Murdoch son who buys into global warming hysteria, is the real heir to his father’s media business. The New York Times has described him as “steadfastly liberal” and notes that he “has supported Bill Clinton and Al Gore, whose daughter he befriended at Harvard.”

James Murdoch, chief operating officer of 21st Century Fox, has given somewhere between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Grim reported, “The [Murdoch] brothers are reportedly working hard to woo [Megyn] Kelly, hoping she’ll stay at Fox past the election and help shape the network’s post-Ailes identity.”

Kelly got into a nasty dispute with Trump during one of the debates when she challenged his comments about the looks of certain women. For her part, Kelly has used her sex appeal to gain viewership, and even appeared in sexually-suggestive poses in GQ magazine. One photo showed her pulling down the strap of her dress, about to expose her bare breast.

The Huffington Post’s embrace of Shepard Smith, who anchors a program on the Fox News Channel, is an indication of where the liberal-left want to see the programming move. But despite the snide innuendo that conservatives are involved in “opinion-heavy” programming, it’s Smith who has used his anchor position to smear conservative personalities and their values. He called respect for traditional marriage “intolerance,” and said Christians who affirmed Biblical values were “haters.” These comments reflected his personal commitment to the homosexual agenda. Indeed, his recent acknowledgement of being a homosexual was confirmation of the obvious.

With various personalities on Fox News going easy on the Clintons and refusing to critically cover the homosexual agenda, many conservatives are talking about the need for alternative channels. Long-time writer and reporter Peter LaBarbera, who runs Americans for Truth, told Accuracy in Media, “I think this whole [2016 presidential] campaign will give rise to a new network. How much do social conservatives have to suffer if the ‘conservative’ network, Fox, abandons them?”

The launch of “Trump Tower Live,” to provide coverage of the campaign from Trump operatives, was seen by some observers as a template for a new network.

Soon, however, an announcement was made about the launch of CRTV. “This is a movement with millions of liberty lovers who know cable TV content doesn’t square with their world-view,” said CRTV personality Mark Levin.

Regarding the other Fox News personalities favorably highlighted by Ryan Grim of The Huffington Post, it’s true that Chris Wallace has mostly come across as an objective observer of the political scene who treats both sides with scrutiny. He was praised for his handling of the third presidential debate.

Bret Baier, chief political anchor of Fox News and anchor of Special Report with Bret Baier, does a generally good job on his show as well. But he pulled out of a major Catholic conference under left-wing and homosexual pressure when it was revealed that a Catholic journal associated with the sponsor of the event had published an article about leaving the homosexual lifestyle. Baier was not supposed to speak on that subject, however. He was going to talk about the role of his Catholic faith in his personal and family life.

AIM has noted on several occasions that the Fox News Channel is a major contributor to the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association (NLGJA), and recruits homosexuals at the group’s events. Indeed, Smith and Kelly, among other Fox News personalities, have raised money for the NLGJA. In April, 2015, Fox News Channel joined CBS News and CNN as “silver” sponsors of the NLGJA 20th annual New York “Headlines & Headliners” fundraising event. A male stripper performed at the event.

When reality creeps into the bubble, it’s time to find someplace else to hide.

    YES! Perfectly said.

The left is a cancer and will eventually eat away and take over if allowed an entrance.

  • IronChefSandwiches

The left is the majority, dimwit.

  • IronChefSandwiches

LOLOLOL The loony arm of the right wing (Breitbart, AIM, WND, Limbaugh) has destroyed the Republican party. The majority of Americans find your views not only wrong, but ridiculous. And your solution is to mount ANOTHER radical right wing news network? Good luck with that. At this rate, the Dems will hold the House in 2 years…

  • Ron Berti

Uh, probably not. Most polls have shown that ” the left” (as opposed to “liberals” has only about a ~12-15% following in the US, whereas generally conservative (economic, foreign policy and social) cohorts number about 40%. If you really think “the Left” is the majority in the country, you’re only watching MSNBC. IMHO.

  • Steve Campbell

Sign me up. Fox has lost it for me. Don’t care what Shep does in his life but since Katerina he has become a liberal hack. Kelly? Nah, would be great in Nancy Grace’s spot on the alt-CNN. I finally figured out why Juan Williams got the boot at NPR. He could only read talking points. I’m not looking for just the Hannity cheer-leading either but the wonderful Mr. Steyn, Mr. Lavin and my belle, the real right Michelle would be a great place for some news. Fox wants to be popular with the Elites too, guess some of the staff want government jobs.

What’ll be either Trump’s or this new n’ improved rightie outlet use for comedy to break the strain caused by constant and endless nitpicking stories all dedicated to picking apart this liberal pol or that liberal policy? I’ll bet they’ve got a slew of Amos n’ Andy reruns, Gomer Pyles and all sorts of corny Chuck Norris “action” shows to fill in the time. Maybe for Sunday they’ll be using old Amway convention tapings of religious er, motivational speeches made by gospel of wealth schlocksters and of course, tapings from The Grand Poohbah of Rightie Hoorah, His “holimolyness,” Rush Limbaugh.
The only reason this thing will never be able to run old Archie Bunker reruns is Norman Lear’s willingness to make sure shows he created to expose the deplorables of Archie’s time would never be used in a new neofascist network to honor Archie and George Jefferson’s worst traits.

  • Steve Campbell

Ok, and they’ll give us another comprehensive, glorious Health Plan? Or maybe they’ll get fix education, the inner cities? The Demo/Rep party has done a wonderful job in every area, guess they should control it all.

ICS is a paid, (with Sorros money), liberal troll!
He has no common sense and can only spout insults and call names!

  • IronChefSandwiches

I guess it depends on our definition of “left” and “conservative”. However, a Democrat is about the get elected to the White House for the sixth time in the last seven elections (popular vote only, obviously).

  • Bill Kristollnacht

I stopped watching Fox News after the first Primary Debate when Megyn Kelly tried to knee cap Trump.

    Eff them.

Actually, the GOP has more seats, state and national, than they have for almost 100 years. It’s the Dems that have been wiped out as the Dem Party became a Left party w/ no moderates.

Remember when your predecessors said FOX would never pass CNN? They were about as accurate as you are.

Anyway, if the Left can have 5 networks then there’s plenty of room for 2 on the Right/Middle.

Besides, a new network would keep Fox from slipping too far left for fear of losing Middle America.

btw, do they pay you min wage for being a troll? Wikileaks revealed that most of your type are paid. Someone with 7000 posts certainly can’t do much else.

  • Enough is Enough

Don’t hit him with facts, it simply confuses him…He’s a liberal after all….have some pity for him.

You seem pretty sure of the outcome of the election. Any reason for that? Know anything that the rest of us should…like a rigged election process perhaps?

This idea will go no where. Number one, no one is going to pay 100 bucks a year for it. Number two, Mark Levin has become a leper to the vast majority of patriotic Americans. In case you have missed the boat, the “conservative” label that has bound us grass roots Republicans together for so long has been replaced by the populist-patriot movement of Donald Trump. And Mark Levin and any other never Trump ally and GOPe character has no place in our movement.

We have every reason to believe Donald Trump will win big. But if for reasons not yet clear he does not, Donald Trump will be the head of a huge body of highly motivated patriots who vote and who boycott and are 100 percent loyal to Trump, no matter what.

If there is to be a replacement for Fox News, and there is going to be one, it will be a network designed by Trump and his able allies and associates.

Mark Stein is entertaining in small doses and Michelle Malkin has a way with words in print. But if you plan on these three as the core of a visual news medium, you are wasting both your time and money. It will not even work as a bait and switch scam to slip in left wing lite to a “conservative” audience. The Conservative Movement is fragmented and has no leadership. It is an orphan of the RNC who never wanted it and Lyin’ Ted Cruz gave what was left of it a lethal injection by not joining with Donald Trump.

Ted Cruz is left to pray alone over the rotting corpse of the Conservative Movement he and Glenn Beck killed, with the toffy nosed Neocons assembled as pallbearers.

You are incorrect. dimwits are the ones who’s vocabulary quickly slides as yours to match what your leftist scroples quickly display. you are your worst enemy. I pity you.

Inability to cope with reality is the root of the disease called Liberalism.

  • rgsdiamonds

You are spot on. Facts are not something that liberals search or respect. They are more quickly to offend or use their chosen derilict language to cover up their chosen deficit. ol

  • M.

This is highly doubtful. Even if it comes to pass, it won’t make any difference to you. You’ll still be the same grade A-1 zero, tenth rate honourless, lying, filthy, disgusting, stinking, maggot-infested carcass of a skunk you have always been “Admiral.” (for those who don’t know, this tenth rate punk claims to have been a “navy officer”, in the Klingon navy I would suppose ha ha ha!) Just remember, you’re nothing, you’re not a man and you never will be good for nothing trash.

  • SolonGT

W/o the Left Media, the US would look like Utah.

Still, the numbers tell the story of Dem decline: In 2009, Democrats had 60 senators, when you include the two independents who caucused with them; now they have 46. In 2009, Democrats had 256 members of the House; now, 192. In 2009, Democrats had 28 governors, now they have 18. In 2009, Democrats controlled both legislative chambers in 27 states. In 2009, Democrats controlled 62 legislative chambers. As of April 2016: Republications control 30 legislatures; Democrats control 12 legislatures, seven legislatures are split, and one legislature is unicameral non-partisan.

The worthless sack of dung is almost certainly a paid troll, a “Tokyo Rose” for the internet age. Pay him no mind. I enjoy playing his game sometimes to watch the disgusting little macaque’s antics, but he’s certainly not worth treating as a normal reasonable human being.

  • Lee Jan

If only those three stooges mentioned WERE right wing.
Nah! They’re part of the establishment, through and through.

  • Lee Jan

The left has been well funded by Trump for many years.

Spot on! It is however, sometimes good fun to troll the filthy zero back.

  • jug

Not a democrat, but a communist, ever since her days with her mentor, Saul Alinsky!

  • M.

Spot on. He has quite a vivid imagination too, one must give him credit for that. In various posts he has claimed that he was a “navy officer”, of course he didn’t specify whether he was supposedly an Ensign, Warrant Officer, or as he likely prefers, a Fleet Admiral, among others. This is probably because the generic term “navy officer” is as far as his knowledge of the subject goes. He also claims to have gone to university. If these preposterous claims were true he wouldn’t be working as a paid troll licking the feet of Soros and friends for a pittance.

  • IronChefSandwiches

    LOLOL

  • IronChefSandwiches

Oh dear God. You consider Breitbart, AIM and Limbaugh the establishment? PERFECT illustration of how insane the radical right has become. Thanks for providing me with such a great example of what I’m talking about.

  • Ron Berti

Don’t confuse electoral success with popularity. Republicans have been running “centrist” candidates for most of those elections, besides which the Democrats benefit wildly from an in-the-tank media, academy and Hollywood institutions providing constant, “PC” support. Not to mention the foundations, named after self-made men (Ford, Carnegie, Rockefeller) and now dedicated to “progressive” nonsense like “anthropogenic global warming”. For example, the great majority of Americans have no idea of the malfeasance of Mrs. Clinton regarding her illegal personal email server AND the crooked way the FBI and DOJ were compromised in what appears (to my humble eyes) to be felonious placement of political advantage over what’s good for the country – because of the GroupThink of the modern media. I’m no fan of the Republican party, but it seems to me the Democrats have in mind controlling everything in my life: my retirement, my school loans, my mortgage, my health care, what kind of light bulb I can buy, the specs on the car I drive, etc etc. No thanks.

And even then, the Obama 2012 campaign had to slur a genuinely good man (if himself a “centrist”) and true to his Mormon upbringing, Mitt Romney didn’t fight back at all, despite the calumny.

As to your (presumed) winning candidate in 2016, Hillary Clinton is clearly a deeply flawed individual, not respected much outside the Democrat party (and rather attenuated even there, if one respects the Bernie challenge and the crookedness of the internal Democrat machinations that saw DWS get fired). She cannot be a successful president, and it’s very difficult to tell where she falls on any given issue because she’s been on both sides of most of them.

Add to all that the fact that Mitt wasn’t “entirely” wrong when his “47%” comments were taken out of context. It IS true that there’s one party in America that hates the idea of a self-reliant citizenry, people for whom government is a necessary evil, something to be controlled carefully, like overhead in a business. That party appears to favor the slow seduction of transfer payments to some (from others, “but only the rich”); the importation of various constituencies so as to import even more dependence on government; an out-of-control bureaucracy enriching itself on the public teat but generally creating massive banks of rules and regulations, most of them corrupt and unncessary and all of them barriers to “the Land of the Free”.

Obama adminstration’s 8 years: doubling of country’s debt; smallest military in a generation; billions spent on AGW nonsense; ICANN handed off to the UN; fracking held back; open borders; calamitous Iran nuclear deal, including pallets of cash delivered in unmarked planes; the glories of Obamacare, where “the right” WAS right in its predictions – 100%; scandals galore, including actual lying to the American people, financial mismanagement, OPM hack (8M names in the hands of the Chinese). WHAT’S TO LIKE? And Hillary brags that she’ll be Obama 3.0. We are committing slow suicide.

I dunno. Maybe when the SHTF people will wake up. All I want from government is minimal interference, small, quality governent, less regulation, less taxes, freer markets. The people I believe in are named Madison and Adams and Jefferson, each of them smarter than the entire contemporary DNC. IMHO.

I found mine One America News but you can only get it on FIOS.

  • IronChefSandwiches

“now dedicated to “progressive” nonsense like “anthropogenic global warming””

OK then. Go away, you sniveling moron.

Actually I prefer to have my news without the talking heads. Just pick a guy off the street who can read and read us the news. No one needs to analyze it for me. I have a brain. Get back to investigative reporting and true journalism please, that is if you can find them out there. Search the world tell us what is happening that is all I ask.

  • His Highness

Your opening is drivelous slander. Yes, that’s a word, or it is now.

That we are looking for a new network has nothing to do with Shep Smith’s sexual preference. Anyone with half a brain suspected that Smith was gay.

We are looking for a new network because Fox has joined the liberal brigade.

  • Ron Berti

NOW I’m sure you’re a “prog”. Your side is so cocksure of yourselves (even when the actual, you know, “science” is falling apart – ask Dr. Michael Mann where his “hockey stick” is, it has disappeared even from the fevered musings of the IPCC) that you resort to name calling at the drop of a hat (or an argument you can’t “win”).
Have a nice life, IronChefSandwiches. I’m sure it’s nice there on whatever planet you’re on.

  • M.

Tough talk from a contemptible coward like you.

  • M.

Those who practise unnatural vice are filthy disgusting perverted sodomites. Gay, they are not. In a just society they would receive a condign punishment for their abomination. My admonition to all decent persons reading this, is that you must never use their words, or else you will finish up thinking their thoughts. Use proper terms. Don’t call sodomites “gay”, don’t accept cowardly euphemisms such as “termination of pregnancy”; rather, call it what it really is : the dismembering alive of an unborn baby. Never back down from socialists, “progressives”, whatever the slaves of the infernal powers prefer to call themselves, that will only embolden them. Defend yourselves by whatever means the situation requires.

  • 2016=1984

I will be 110% in on a new network and we need it NOW! I will NEVER watch Megyn Kelly again. She is such a media slut. I hope this new network bring in Harris Faulkner from Fox. She’s good. I am DISGUSTED with Fox and hope Kelly tanks.

  • bc3b

Let’s hope the Trump Tower or something similar works out. I have permanently written off Mark “Buy My Book – Buy My Father’s Book – Buy Goldline or Whatever Other Scam I’m Peddling Tonight” Levin.

I gave up FNC after the 2008 election.

  • 1madgrannie

Thank heavens. Fox has only Hannity and Judge Janine that still represent conservative values. I do not watch any others, just as I do not watch any national lame stream media so called news casts. Frankly, I have stopped watching anything on NBC because of their blatant bashing of Trump and unwavering support of treasonous, lying Hillary and her ilk. If enough people are able to follow suite, perhaps they will begin to wonder why their ratings are tanking. It takes a bit of resolve not to watch football on Sunday night, but I am doing fine without it.

    Watch your Mouth…..

  • It’s clear to me that Shepard Smith has been leading a charge to take Fox news down the left trail…so Kelly has followed, as well as others. Juan Williams gets rescued from CNN by Fox and has been biting that hand ever since!
I’ve largely switched to OAN, but people with Cox cable don’t get it – so far mostly CenturyLink has a contract.

  • Steven Barrett

Whenever I read about or hear the term “Trump Tower,” automatically images of the tall tower in Mordor comes to mind. Thank you Tolkein.

  • AndRebecca

You forgot Washington. Although it has been harder to find his writings than the others, there is a book, free to read on the net in pdf form the “Maxims of Washington,” just be sure you get the original book compiled in the 1800s. Washington was for armed citizens, little to no immigration, plus all sorts of conservative ideas we still have today. The book is a great read.

  • AndRebecca

Being open minded to the point your brains fell out caused you to become a gay communist! Who knew? I thought you said you were born that way.

  • beachmom2

It isn’t the homosexual agenda that has caused people to flee Fox. It was their constant illegal immigrant amnesty push, their attempts to push Jeb and Rubio on us, their ignoring Wikileaks and Project Veritas, etc. The out of control Megyn Kelly. Whittling down the defection from Fox down to the homosexual agenda alone is not reality.

  • Steve Burstein

OK, not sure this is on-topic, but I can’t find anything about this on the web: who saw PBSs AMERICAN RED? This seemed to want to have it both ways-on the one hand, the doc. admits that the American Communist Party took orders from Moscow and wanted a “Soviet America”, but on the other hand, regurgitates the cliché about anybody who had a problem with that being a narrow minded, superstitious fascist! I guess this fits in with media bias in general.

Why all the name calling–it is so old and traditionally part of the left’s Alinsky/Goebbels/Lenin/Mao tactics. Blame the Jew, send people to Gulags, Re-education camps in China, or like Pol Pot, just kill anybody who offers diversity or is different. Funny–relativity is part of the left’s catechism–but I guess only if it complies with the Inquisitional priests of Progressivism.

  • madhatter46

And millions of humans are killed annually from malaria–but we saved the birds. Leash a dog and save the whale but murder millions of unborn children. I’d agree with you, but someone has to decide which ‘news’ to read. Investigative reporting is far too much to hope for, since the elephant in the room that needs to be reported first is the corrupt media.

Faux News- the falsest friend patriotic Americans ever had, run by a geriatric Zionist who gave up his own, Australian, nationality for the sake of a TV licence in Boston. The archetypal globalist gypsy, whose loyalty is to the bottom line.

CRTV is not the future for conservatives unless you think the Obamacare website was the cats meow. I was a subscriber to Levin TV but starting 11/10 I could login but the show didn’t load (i tried HTML5 and flash and IE 11 and F/F) and their customer svc/tech support sucks! They say they’ve been working on it but I don’t think so. Caution on signing up for this subscription TV. You may want to wait while until they get competent people.
